Yelp Review 2026 #130: I was having a footwear emergency. I bore a hole on my shoes from all the walking (especially downhill) I've been doing in Switzerland. I had to switch to my hiking boots but they're not great for city walking. Hopping from one part of Switzerland to the next, I was checking stores for a replacement pair of shoes without luck. It's an emergency but I'm not desperate. I want something that can withstand miles upon miles of walking/ running but still look cute. While walking in Interlaken, I saw this store and walked in without expectations. They had shirts, hoodies, jackets, Swiss souvenirs, watches, sunglasses, bags, and shoes. I stared long and hard at their shoe display to make sure I'm making the right decision. I locked in on New Balance so, I asked for my size. Too big! I went half a size smaller - the only pair they had left in that size was the display so, I took it. I asked if there was a discount since it's the display. Unfortunately, there was none. Service was friendly. It was (I'm assuming) a family of Koreans running the store. I walked away with a pair of shoes that I needed. I wore them the very next day. read more
