From the beginning, Ben has been responsive to all my questions/concerns and has always been honest and upfront about what I needed to do and what I should expect from him as far as costs and services. He was able to find tenants within a few weeks and kept me updated on what was going on every week. His costs are reasonable and comparable to the other property management companies in the area. If you need an honest property manager with no BS, I would recommend Ben. I've been on the east coast for 2 months and everything has been great.

And he told us that he could manage the property for us. He told us he had a cleaning crew, wanted to do a walk through with us and then have us sign a contract. Since we were already overseas, I asked my agent to contact him and scheduled the walk-through with him. My agent drove all the way from Albany to meet him for the walk-through. He seemed nice and respectful during it. However, right after, he said he had to turn us down because he's too busy and he just signed up some new clients. If he had let us know earlier that he was too busy to take us, that would have been completely understandable. However, he did it in such unprofessional way where it just wasted my agent's time.

    Tenant turnover used to be the worst for me... like seriously stressful. Every time someone…read moremoved out I was bracing myself for months of vacancy, showings that went nowhere, applications that looked good but flopped, and then sometimes ending up with tenants that weren't even good. My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Tenants know who to call and stuff actually gets fixed lol. I also like that I'm not just left guessing anymore. New applicant? I know. Lease signed? I know. Something pops up? I hear about it before it's a bigger problem. I don't feel outta the loop like I did before. Honestly... I'm not stressing about who's living there or how long it'll sit empty. Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. As a landlord I depend on them to manage all aspects of our income properties including monthly rent collections and deposits, annual income statements, maintenance requests and repairs, unit turn-overs, marketing and prospective tenant interactions, leasing processes and annual property inspections. Each of these responsibilities have been consistently executed without fail. The reason for such a great track record? THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE! You could not ask for a more attentive team of employees starting with Jay McDonald, the Director of Operations. She is responsive to every inquiry, question or concern. We appreciate the efforts that Eduardo Gonzalez, Irene Llanes, Kelly Almaguer, Travis Chu, Jonathon Moreno all put forth on our behalf. They have been 100% successful in finding quality tenants that are a perfect fit for the properties. Over the past 9 years Keyrenter has assisted us in completely remodeling 6 of the 8 units in our portfolio including extensive landscaping and hardscaping to enhance the appeal and livability of the units.     Some very incompetent unprincipled unethical enabler employees, managers with oversized vicious…read moredogs parking in other tenants designated spaces, on-site employees parking in other tenants & guess spaces, employees stealing from tenants, married employees sleeping around with & spending a lot of work time & overnighters with tenants who get preferential treatment QUID PRO QUO. One site managed by Scott who thinks that tenants are supposed to bow down to him as if he's the property management god or something went through four managers in less than a year then for some strange reason hired the youngest least experienced unqualified unknowledgeable person it seems & likely because they figured she would be an unprincipled lap dog willing to do their dirty work. Some of the sites they manage are reportedly infested with illegal drugs, DOPE, prostitution, burglaries, sexual predators including registered sex offenders & child pornography, mailbox theft, identity fraud, drug addicted disabled veterans with mental illnesses so serious that they should be in an institution somewhere other than endangering tenants. When they take over the rent gets much higher & in some cases the down payment quadrupled contributing to the increase homelessness in California so that is not good & is bad for the communities but they don't care about people but only care about the money regardless of who is harmed in the process including their willingness to cause tenants to become homeless. If you don't want your property value to go down then find a credible ethical professional property manager somewhere else.

They took advantage of that fact and the place was trashed . Then when I moved they not only kept my double deposit but charged me thousands. They are the most dishonest property Management I have ever dealt with and should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of people with disabilities. . It is a sin to make their money that way and they should not be in business. I do not want this to happen to anybody else. Please don't put yourself in that position by trusting this company.Run like the wind. I do not know how they sleep at night. There is no doubt in my mind they will do it again. Even if you are desperate it will hurt you in the end don't give up. Do not support this business. I do not want this to ever happen to anybody else. How they make their money is a sin.
