The lone silver lining in all of this was the forced tasking of finally demolishing the faux Wisconsin Northwoods themed basement and starting anew. Through a stroke of luck, we came upon Mpink Design. They measured, took pictures, ping ponged ideas with us, and presented to us a computerized 3D model of their vision for our basement. We discussed costs, expectations, and time lines. We green lighted the project and they introduced us to a few contractors. The man we chose was the perfect one for the job. Any issues that arose were quickly turned into opportunities or resolved immediately. Communication was never a problem. This is the second major remodeling project done on our 1940's home (and we have had several small projects completed as well) so we know professional quality when we see it.
