Until we went on a highly anticipated 2 week cruise / land vacation to Hawaii to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary during the winter of February 2025.. We had a PROFESSIONAL SNOW PLOW SERVICE scheduled to clear our driveway.. Marlene, the business owner called us while we were in port at one of the islands preparing to leave for dinner.. and informed us that our driveway was not clear enough & if the snow wasn't appropriately cleared, she would not have her workers stop by, & our dogs wouldn't be fed!!! I was frantically trying to call our professional snow plowing service in Ohio before our ship left port & we would lose cell service. My niece was staying at our house at night during our trip, & she took pics of our driveway, & the snow was adequately cleared. When we arrived home from our trip, the FRONT DOOR was NOT LOCKED, & there was 40 pieces of UNCOLLECTED MAIL IN OUR MAILBOX. There was also dog vomit on the pillows on our living room couch.. When I let Marlene know of the situation we came home to..she was very rude & unprofessional & accused my 30 year old niece of leaving the door unlocked, & not cleaning up the dog mess in the living room! Then she told me I was exaggerating about the mail. One of Marlene's duties was to collect the mail daily.. Our mail was nearly falling out of the mailbox into the ditch! As far as my niece leaving the dog vomit & the front door unlocked, (which she would never do), our niece left our house at 7:00 am in the morning, & Marlene's "helpers" were the last people at our home before we arrived home later that afternoon after a 20 hour flight home from Hawaii. Marlene caused what should have been a wonderful cruise & vacation to Hawaii to be stressful for my husband & I, as we were concerned our dogs would not be attended to properly.. She was rude & cold & uncaring towards me when I tried to converse with her about the condition our home was in when we returned from our trip. I am writing this review now, a year later, because I want to spare anyone else Marlene's unprofessional & rude treatment. If you plan to use Marlene's service during Spring, Summer, Fall.. it will be fine. DO NOT USE HER SERVICE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS, as she is unreliable in the event of snow..

We showed up on Day 1 totally unprepared. The trainer said we were in the wrong class and asked us to come back and switch to the different time. I was not happy about that- we had already made arrangements for the 11:00 time slot. There were also several Sundays that we had to skip due to holidays and the trainers personal schedule. I wish we had known this ahead of time, because it extended the class out 4 weeks. We also were never told that only one person could come to training, which was a disappointment to us because we BOTH needed to learn how to train our pup. There was a lot of confusion and miscommunication and I was feeling very frustrated. The training went well and Winnie enjoyed going. It was easy to understand the class and commands so we can use them at home. I expected a larger training area- we were with 4 (maybe 5) other dogs in the lobby area of the camp. The trainer was excellent with dogs and they all listened to her well. She used positive reinforcement which we believe is very effective. I felt like we got our moneys worth. It would have been nice to have a syllabus so we could review what we learned. It was sometimes hard to remember, especially when you had to share with your partner what you had learned. If I knew how I'd have felt about Camp Bow Wow experience, I would have gone elsewhere.

I've spoken with vets and done my research, so being dismissed like that was pretty unacceptable. On top of that, the food they're selling for budgies is outrageously priced and not even the right kind for proper care. It's really concerning that a pet store can't provide accurate basic information about the animals they sell. I wouldn't trust the advice here if you actually care about your pets. If I could rate this place negative stars I would.

I've been feeling so bad for the poor guy, the worms that were in his feeding dish were still alive too so someone saw him like this and chose to not take action. beyond digusting. We never ended up informing an employee because they were all busy with customers and as were waiting for an employee some annoying lady walked passed with her kid making laughing at the poor thing... we just had to leave.

They even offer to water plants and get the mail. My husband was thrilled the pet sitter brought our garbage cans from the curb, no easy feat as we have a long driveway. They have an online profile and payment system. They come out and meet you before hand. I appreciate the text letting me know how my dog is doing.
