They will make it clear that your concerns are not their concerns. The beach is useless, full of seaweed, dirty brown, smelly, water. On that note, the resort water seems to be desalination water from the aforementioned seaweed infested water, and it permeates the smell in the water in the rooms. So the shower is slightly unpleasant, and the bedding doesn't smell fresh. There are rules for the pools, but no one enforces them. No idea where the lifeguards are, but it's certainly not in their chairs. It seems dinner reservation times are possibly tied to your status color. So I guess the more you spend the better you get. It seems people with the butlers and all are certainly having a different experience. The website says basic WiFi included, but that it also evidently tied to status. $60 per device per week. Or you can sell your sole to the vacation club presentation and get your WiFi refunded. But you'll probably realize afterwards the $120 would have been a better deal. Funny thing is, 1 mile away in Puerto Morelos, our cellular service worked fine. We stayed in Ventus, the newest hotel on property, the room was very nice with a great view. They tried to sell us an upgraded room for an additional $50 day, using a picture that wasn't even from our room. Glad we didn't fall for that. I'll say the food was very good overall, as were the beverages.

Can't ask for a better assortment. The selection of fruit offered is what's in season. I ate a lot of watermelon, papaya, honeydew, guava and grapefruit during my last visit. The Guava was heavenly! Food is shielded by plexiglass barriers and only attendants at each station handles the food. There's an early bird special with a Vida card that runs from 7:15-8:15am Sundays through Thursdays where you receive a 25% discount. You also are told to download the app and whenever you input your information, it won't let you login regardless of the information being correct.
