Came here for a quick bite to eat. I wasn't feeling that well so soup sounded good. I order the chicken noodle soup and my wife got the cheddar broccoli soup. Both soups were yummy. Just ordered takeout from here. Easy to place an online order for pickup which is convenient. Only took like 20 mins to be ready for pickup. The prices are not too bad. This is overall a good spot. The man who works the register is friendly and helpful to makes clear that they will pretty much make you whatever you might like from the various combinations of things listed on "the menu". The menu, however, is their problem. It's a listing of their options up on a big board on the wall, high above your head. For people with disabilities or challenges of any sort, this doesn't really work. Even for people w/o "disabilities", it's annoying. I'd like to just be able to LOOK and process my options but I can't. I can't because I'm having to compare items that are listed ten feet apart, or that require that I physically walk to a different location to read about them. I'm also feeling pressured sorting this process as it's obvious people are waiting for me to choose! I find this one factor to be a real downside not just for the way that it simply annoys me but because I've been a caregiver and I'm aware of how this impacts many people who are out there and who wouldn't fare well with this. Many can't see that board. Many can't stand there that long. Many can't look up at that board. But they might like a chance to look at a menu and not have to be read out loud to in the middle of the place. The food options are homemade and overall, taste good. Their chowder isn't the creamy kind I prefer but the taste is good. They have refrigerators with containers of macaroni salad, potato salad, and Cole slaw. Bottled drinks. I almost leave but I see this guy watering plants and sign says open, so I jumó out the truck walk over and sure enough they are open. A combo punch between between the smell and the look chunks of buttery lobster!! My mouth begins to salivate. I can't hold back I have to take a bite. As I dig in and take the first bite I get this warm buttery flavorful bread, toasted just enough and then BAM you are digging into the warm, buttery flavor town chunks of lobster meat. Your eyes shut closed and im saying thank you Jesus! because He created this magnificent creature that swims in the ocean and now I get to consume it on this amazing role. It's clean and we'll organized here ,but the bathroom situation is a little weird you get the key and have to go outside to the side of the building . The clam strips we're good but pricey(by the pound) and a small side (box) is around 7 bucks. They are crispy and a decent size. I would try the meal next time for value wise. Someone about whom I care deeply, my DIL, suffered two tragic losses last week. I'm trying to be there for her all I can. She'd been unable to eat from the sadness. I remembered, last summer, another friend received an Edible Arrangement, and it was so pretty and the fruit was of the highest quality. So, I thought that might be nice to send to my DIL. I ordered online. It arrived on the time specified, and it was beautiful. My DIL said that the fruit was the first thing she's been able to eat in days. I later phoned Jen for something, and she was just lovely. I later found out that she had made the arrangement for our friend last year, which is why I thought of Edible Arrangement. Just kinda cool. She told me that when I again order, and I will, I can call the shop directly and not have to go through online, which will save money on the online fee. Knowing the care she put into making this fruit arrangement, I am eager to visit her shop for a meal. I'll probably write another review then. read more

We LOVE this deli and market. Ok, so it's almost 2 hours from our house. We just find excuses to sort of drive by on our way to anywhere in New England. Like we did on our way to Rhode Island. The sandwich selection is awesome, with our favorite being the lobster roll on a toasted, buttered roll. They pack about 1/4 pound of lobster onto this side-split bun. Mostly everything is fresh, and sandwiches are made to order. They offer a daily selection of fresh baked cookies and pastries. Oh, and HUGE kosher garlic pickles in the fridge. I've grab a sandwich here many of times when I'm short on time and looking for something near home. I've never been really Impressed. Each sandwich (mostly wraps) I've gotten has been on the small side. While tasting fine its very short on meat and any wow factor. But yet you still pay the price of a big wrap you would get from like rosa's in wallingford. I got soup twice and also not impressed/it was cold. I do like that they have some fresh produce and homemade cookies. It definitely has that local farm like feel and they definitely make you feel welcomed. They also sell local honey and homemade pies. I wish I had as hard of a time getting here as I did eating here. I got a flat tire wrap. I know it's not on the menu, so it must have been a special they accidentally labeled "buffalo chicken". It's difficult to explain what each bite was like because I never actually got to take one. Believe me, I tried. The chicken was more discolored than the face I saw in the mirror after a 3-day coke binge. The first time I tried to bite into the wrap I immediately thought of a Michelin tire covered in buffalo sauce, but then I thought how dare I couple Michelin in with this steroid riddled abomination. The more chicken I pulled out to glance at, the more I felt like it was going to kick my ass. It's quite possible it still had a pulse and was out to prove its dominance at my expense. Also, they give you a key to the bathroom located "outside & around the corner". That's how much they know how violent you'll soon be after eating their food.
