I nearly bought a strand of hot dog lights. My boyfriend gets annoyed when I order a hot dog. His eyes rolled when I found these lights. Instead, I took a photo of them. The store is clean and big. There are public restrooms in this store. The shoe selection is great for my size 11 feet. The last time u was here, I got a can of dry shampoo and a Stuck in the 80's desk calendar. We had just finished shopping at Winners. We looked at the Old Navy listing on Google Maps. Photos showed that it was next to HomeSense. From our vantage point, we couldn't see it. Was it in the corner or was it permanently closed? We had no clue. We drove over to the corner. Old Navy was there. Location-wise, it's not the best being tucked away in the corner. I parked closer to the store. My friend was slightly further away. We got out of our vehicles and walked in. We both like Old Navy. I have always liked that it is size-inclusive. At my heaviest, I was able to find clothing that fit me without looking frumpy. This store had 50% off jeans. What a steal! My friend got a pair of boyfriend jeans. I found a luxe top that felt so nice to the touch. It was also on sale at 30% off. I got it in green. There were so many good deals at this store. Getting a t-shirt for $12 was decent. I liked seeing an assortment of jean jackets. I got a friendly male staffer at the checkout. I entered my phone number associated with my GAP rewards to earn points. I paid for my item with a credit card. I tapped and was done. He asked me if I needed a bag. I declined, as I had a single item that didn't merit one. I walked over to my friend. She didn't have a phone number associated with her GAP rewards. Maybe she did, but she has moved around and likely had an old phone number associated with it. She was able to rattle off her e-mail address. The manager found her rewards account that way. Yay! There was an orange alert for heavy thunderstorms while we were shopping. We heard thunder and heavy rain while shopping at this store. We had to wait between the doors for the pouring rain to stop. It took perhaps fifteen minutes before it was safe to head to our vehicles without being drenched. I liked shopping here. It had great deals and service. A couple of Saturdays ago, I visited this Kitchen Stuff Plus (KSP). I am on KSP's mailing list and found out that this store had a tent sale. I've been to tent sales at my local KSP store in Markham. It's a lot of fun finding items that I have wanted to get, but didn't because they weren't on sale until I spot them at this tent sale. I ended up ordering a couple of items to pick up at this store. An OXO cherry pitter was on sale, as well as a storage organizer that I love. I got confirmation that they were ready for pickup. The toughest part was deciding whether to hit the tent sale, or pick up and pay for my items being held first. I decided to do the latter, but not buy anything else while in the store. I parked fairly close to the main entrance when I got to the store. I pulled into a parking spot, which felt weird as someone who regularly backs into one. I walked into the store. There was a woman sitting almost too comfortably where the patio display was. She looked like she wanted to take a nap. I enjoyed looking at glasses and plates. I didn't need any, but I like knowing what's new. There were fun shark and cactus bottle openers. I later saw them at the tent sale. They were heavily reduced in price over there. I liked the salad to-go cups. It's perfect for a snack or as a side. I don't think it would work for me for salad as a main. I would need a larger cup (maybe two), as I like salad and would need more. It was cool seeing my cherry pitter and storage unit at the store. I could have picked them out myself, but I do like reserving them for pickup. I wanted to ensure that I got them. I went to the checkout and let a nice woman know that I was picking up a couple of items. She asked for my phone number associated with my account and entered it into the system. She found my order and went to fetch the items that were behind her. I paid with a credit card. I tapped. Done! I ended up getting a bug zapper, as I had qualified to get it at 50% off. I haven't used it yet, as I finally got batteries for it the other day. I put my items in my large reusable bag. I thanked the woman and headed to my car to put my items away. It was tent sale time! I walked over to it to check out the items. I liked what I saw. I ended up getting a honey stick and a jar scooper with a long handle. The woman at the checkout under the tent was nice. She let me know that these items were final sale. I paid with a credit card. I got a coupon towards a regular item the next time I visited this store. Nice! I had a wonderful experience at the store and under the tent. I'd return again to shop when I'm in the area. (312)

I often hit this store and Staples next door. The variety of merchandise at this store is perfect for my needs. Lots of women's size 11 shoes? Yes. Kipling handbags? Definitely. Cool phone accessories? Yes, and then some. Gourmet snacks? Let's go! I love the staff here. I recently picked up a huge can of dry shampoo. A female staff member noticed and we talked about how her daughter swears by Batiste. I said that her daughter is one smart cookie. There is a small town feel and rapport that I love at this store. Everyone working here is so nice and helpful. You feel good dropping by. There is plenty of parking. I can enjoy shopping here at a leisurely pace. I neither noticed this Winners, nor the SportChek next door. This store is one of the better ones. For those in Whitby, be proud of it for a few reasons. First, I am a huge fan of Kipling handbags. This store goes one step beyond my usual level of happiness at Winners by offering a pink Kipling backpack. It is a rare find. The second point sealed my love for this store. It offers USB type C cables, which is incredible. It is a first for me! You typically get micro USB and lightning cables in ample supply. Yes, I have to be so different with a phone that only uses USB type C. You get a decent variety of two different brands. Both USB type C cables are six feet in length and go for $7.99. Perfect! I love the selection of items, from limited edition Simpson Tic Tacs in both donut and bubble gum flavours, to Popcornopolis popcorn. I don't see any of these fine products at my local Winners. Unfortunately I lost the FTR opportunity in 2022. The largest vendors are: Walmart Supercentre, Canadian Tire, Winners, Staples, Sport Chek, Marks, and Ren's Pets. Some of the food vendors are Tim Hortons, McDonald's, A&W, Boston Pizza, Plates & Bowls, LAON Korean Restaurant, Hong Cha, Bulk Barn, and Arena Grill & Bar. I've been coming here to shop for well over a decade. I used to frequent Walmart and Canadian Tire more back then. My shopping habits changed over the years. These days, I have a main set of stores and eateries that I love: - Winners - Staples - Plates and Bowls I love that Winners and Staples are next to each other. I tend to hit both of them. I often find something cool at Winners, be it snacks or a pair of sneakers. At Staples, I still have a love for stationery and office supplies. I especially love the discount section at the back of the store by the office chairs. Plates and Bowls offers a hybrid of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. The chicken shawarma is incredible. I am highly addicted to the butter chicken bowl. It's the perfect, comforting combination of rice, sauce, and morsels of chicken that make me come back for more. The apple slaw salad is incredible! I have probably visited A&W the most. Before Markham got an A&W, I'd get my root beer and burger fix at this eatery. There's a drive-thru, too. I have also dined at Thai Villa. Back then, it offered cheap meal specials. I don't know if they still do. The family who owns it was friendly and the food was decent when I was last there. For food and drinks, you have Boston Pizza, Tim Horton's with a drive-thru (yep, there are two drive-thru places here), Subway, and Sgt. Pepper's Pub. The pub always intrigues me, as it's next to Plates and Bowls. There's a nice selection of stores to shop till you drop. Dollarama. Bulk Barn. Rogers. SportChek. Reitmans. Aside from the gigantic signage indicating that the store is closing, you wouldn't really be able to tell because all the racks and shelves are still fully stocked! In fact, there is a lot of merchandise spilling out into the mall and they are able to take up a lot of space since neighboring stores have already been vacated. Everything has been reduced to super cheap prices. Out front there are racks that are all $5 and $7. There are a lot of basics in this section like tanks and camis that have little embellishes like buttons or ties in the front. There were also tees and dresses. They do have many tops that have strange prints and patterns on them so look closely. Inside they have more substantial items and they even have a small athletics section. There are men's items but there was definitely way more women's clothing. I didn't bother trying on any of the tops I picked out since they were so cheap but the back wall is mostly change rooms. My friend and I came away with a pretty good haul of 7 items for $40!
