I nearly bought a strand of hot dog lights. My boyfriend gets annoyed when I order a hot dog. His eyes rolled when I found these lights. Instead, I took a photo of them. The store is clean and big. There are public restrooms in this store. The shoe selection is great for my size 11 feet. The last time u was here, I got a can of dry shampoo and a Stuck in the 80's desk calendar. I love this store. The cashier noticed that I love purple. My wallet, purse, hat, and shoes were all purple that day. (50)

I frequent the other two stores to the right of Sport Chek regularly. Staples is between this store and Winners. There is plenty of parking for these three stores. I came here at around 5:30 pm and nabbed the closest parking spot by Sport Chek. I walked in and was greeted by all Team Canada-branded apparel. I looked at one of the cool Bauer t-shirts with a black maple leaf on the front. It was $50. I put it back on the rack. I looked at almost everything. Athletic apparel. Jackets. Snowboard gear. Sneakers. Hand weights. This store has a lot of merchandise. The last time I was at a Sport Chek, I bought a pair of mittens. I still wear them. I had to fix the thumb part recently. I looked at the gloves and mittens at this store. None of them were on sale, but I liked a few pairs. As usual, I dipped into the clearance racks and shelves. I got a pink Skechers t-shirt that was originally $43. I got it for $14. I also got a Corksicle wine tumbler. It was also at the same original and discounted prices as my t-shirt. I went to pay for my items at the checkout. The man there was super friendly. He scanned my Triangle rewards barcode. He said that I could redeem my rewards towards the full price of my two items. Yes, please! It was my first time redeeming. It felt good, almost as if I was running away with murder... haha! He asked me if I wanted a bag for $2. It better be an amazing bag for that price! I declined. I thanked him, grabbed my goods, and headed to my car. This place has change rooms. I didn't need to try on my t-shirt. I measured it against me and knew that it would fit. I came here on a Sunday evening and was surprised to see the store was so neat and organized. The layout of the store was quite nice, but the selection is not. They didn't have many products available in my size, and none of the higher end brands either (North Face, Arcteryx etc). I was looking for Nike running gear and even that they didn't have. Oh well... The associates though are amazing. So caring, very observant of the customers and willing to help with everything. They knew the products really well, and the ones which weren't there that I wanted. Sportchek has a cool iPad system to check product inventory which was neat. I was still able to get some gear, but prob won't come back to this location.

Aside from the gigantic signage indicating that the store is closing, you wouldn't really be able to tell because all the racks and shelves are still fully stocked! In fact, there is a lot of merchandise spilling out into the mall and they are able to take up a lot of space since neighboring stores have already been vacated. Everything has been reduced to super cheap prices. Out front there are racks that are all $5 and $7. There are a lot of basics in this section like tanks and camis that have little embellishes like buttons or ties in the front. There were also tees and dresses. They do have many tops that have strange prints and patterns on them so look closely. Inside they have more substantial items and they even have a small athletics section. There are men's items but there was definitely way more women's clothing. I didn't bother trying on any of the tops I picked out since they were so cheap but the back wall is mostly change rooms. My friend and I came away with a pretty good haul of 7 items for $40!

I neither noticed this Winners, nor the SportChek next door. This store is one of the better ones. For those in Whitby, be proud of it for a few reasons. First, I am a huge fan of Kipling handbags. This store goes one step beyond my usual level of happiness at Winners by offering a pink Kipling backpack. It is a rare find. The second point sealed my love for this store. It offers USB type C cables, which is incredible. It is a first for me! You typically get micro USB and lightning cables in ample supply. Yes, I have to be so different with a phone that only uses USB type C. You get a decent variety of two different brands. Both USB type C cables are six feet in length and go for $7.99. Perfect! I love the selection of items, from limited edition Simpson Tic Tacs in both donut and bubble gum flavours, to Popcornopolis popcorn. I don't see any of these fine products at my local Winners. The selection of size 11 women's shoes in decent. I nearly bought a pair of Keds sneakers, but decided that I didn't love them desperately enough to purchase them. The cashier was super sweet. I often hit this store and Staples next door. The variety of merchandise at this store is perfect for my needs. Lots of women's size 11 shoes? Yes. Kipling handbags? Definitely. Cool phone accessories? Yes, and then some. Gourmet snacks? Let's go! I love the staff here. I recently picked up a huge can of dry shampoo. A female staff member noticed and we talked about how her daughter swears by Batiste. I said that her daughter is one smart cookie. There is a small town feel and rapport that I love at this store. Everyone working here is so nice and helpful. You feel good dropping by. There is plenty of parking. I can enjoy shopping here at a leisurely pace. I am relaxed and enjoy each shopping experience at this Winners. The phone accessories section is amazing. I always find something new and the prices are fantastic. The plaza that this store is in is huge. There was lots of parking. I parked and headed over to this store. I like that most Dollarama stores are set up the same way. I got the kitchen accessories section. I loved it so much. It now has Martha Stewart and KitchenAid items. I liked finding Zipper Seal reusable bags. I got a five-pack of sandwich bags. I've been using them ever since. I love them. This store has Viva Puffs. I got a box of raspberry ones. Cheap and yummy. The snack sections is excellent. I ended up getting Bounty. It was fascinating seeing boxes of plant-based butter chicken with basmati rice. It even has a bowl, spoon, fork, and napkin in this box. Fancy? I need to try it the more that I think about it. I lined up to pay for my items. This store does not have self-checkout kiosks. There were two staffers cashing folks out. The male staffer that I got was great. He scanned everything. I paid with a credit card. All was great. I thanked him and headed to my car. I put everything in a reusable bag and continued shopping at this plaza. I loved shopping here.
