I've been coming to Sportonic in downtown LA for years, and after my experience today, I won't be returning. I came in with my order ready, paid right away, and handed them the paper with everything I needed. Even with that, I felt completely ignored. They were helping everyone around me while my order just sat on the counter. When I finally asked for help, the owner had put all my merch on the table and left the bag there without even bagging it... something they've never done in all the years I've shopped there. When I politely asked if they could bag it, they shoved the items inside carelessly and acted annoyed that I even asked. I told them I just needed help and that the service felt rude, and instead of fixing the situation, they asked if I "wanted a refund." When I said no, I just wanted them to do their job.., I was told "don't come back" and that they have me "on camera." Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. It's disappointing because I've been a loyal customer for so long and come here for all my studio merch. Their prices may be good, but no price is worth being treated like that. There are plenty of other places in downtown LA that value their customers and know how to speak to people with respect. read more

Costumer service sucks. They are rude. They will literally refuse your business if you change your mind on an item or try to exchange material. The older Asian guy not only rushes when there is literally no one waithing yet takes for ever to put an order together, and dont try telling him nothing he will just return your money back and refuse service. I try to exchange a color, he got upset because now he needed to go back, not only he return our money after we said we wanted the sweaters but he also throw the money back at my friend. read more

Horrible customer service! I bought some zipper sweaters and two of the zippers broke! We went back and the lady said she couldn't help exchange them and that we did yhe damage so it's on us? So if you buy a sweater here don't expect to unzip it because the quality is so bad that the zipper handle is going to break like this look at picture! On top of that the woman saw me posting and taking a picture, so she start yelling at me saying I know what happened, you guys broke it! it h you cheap shyt broke for lack of quality. read more

I thought to try a new wholesaler to buy blank tees. The "lady boss" I thought was cool was until I had to just exchange 2 unopened black tees for white ones. I spent $400 with her and she wouldn't accept an exchange. I've found businesses that post that have a trust issue with customers because they themselves are not too trustworthy. That's my take on the dragon lady here. Sketchy. It's negative projection onto others. It is hand written on your receipt no exchanges or refunds. But, jeez use your brain for a customer and exchange with the receipt and you recognized me from a few days before. So, you blew me off. I went back to my regular place and bought from them at the same price another $400.00. It's obvious you don't care about repeat business and building customer relationships. So with that in mind you don't need my money either. There's plenty of other shops who appreciate it. read more

The business run by both husband and wife. Husband temperamental, short fuse, discriminative and prejudice. The wife in every sense mimic the husband as well. The wife pushy, demanding, a tyrant, money hungry, rude, uneducated, no etiquette, slave driver, discriminative and prejudiced individual. They have two unit of stores. One facing Pico Blvd and the other facing Main St. Customer had questioned regarding the materials of the product. Before the customers finished the question she walk away. The two customers were black ladies. That's the wife attitude toward those to black ladies. A guy came into the husband side of the store, facing Pico Blvd. The guy was asking about the HELP WANTED sign. The guy was big and tall. Maybe 6'3" or 6'5" weight nearly 300 lbs. The husband told the employment seeker. That he needs people of small size and skinny to be able to be agile. In another word, he's discriminated the employment seeker of being obese. Them both has no regard for customers. You have money and purchase products from them. Then they treat you a little nicer. They treat the customers the same way they treated people that work for them. They sees employees, replaceable, dispensable, nothing more, but a slave worker's. Unfortunate and regrettably I once worked for them. Nothing short of harassment, threats, insult, criticism, no respect, intimidation, and belittle of me. Every jobs or duties assigned to performed push,push, push, never ends. Have worker to perform jobs, not what they were hired for. The wife sees as entitlement because is within the employment time. They are labor laws violators. Circumvent the labor laws to avoid lost profits. Many Undocumented cash transactions. Customers should boycott buying products from them. These people will never change their way or attitude. Why give them businesses, when they're so rude and disrespected you. Those that left 5 stars for this business. BEWARE !!! Horrible service... I bought 2x dri fit shirts and they fit like a medium... so I went to return them and the lady that work there gave me a hard time because they made a mistake and ordered from a company that was not true to size... blamed the company they bought them from instead of accepting the fact that they knew they weren't true to size. Also told me that the shirts were " UNISEX FEMALE " didn't make any sense. All of the other shirts are either UNISEX Shirts or FEMALE Shirts NOT BOTH... I never asked for money back I just asked for exchange for something else instead... RUDE SERVICE... and had the audacity To tell me never come back again for their mistake. They won't have to worry about me coming to spend my money again!!! Plus there are 20 other stores on the same block selling the same thing for the same price! If you're looking to have your t-shirts screen printed in bulk, this is the place to go. Charlie is very genuine and helpful, and you definitely cannot beat the prices. Believe me; I searched far and wide around LA. I e-mailed about 10 different places for price quotes and even if the place had a decent pricing per shirt, it was ruined by expensive set-up fees. GOOD NEWS: You don't have to worry about that at Sport Tonic. For 50 customer-provided grey tank tops with a detailed, two-color (black and teal) custom design on the front only, Charlie only charged me $2.50 per tank. I had to pay $10 for the design film a little ways down the street, but still... UNBEATABLE! The closest I got to this price was $2.25 per tank... PLUS a $100 set-up fee, which made it $4.25. Yeah, take me to Sport Tonic, babyy. After I showed Charlie the design, he told me that the color I picked might not show up well on the grey tank top, so he suggested another color. SO HELPFUL :). It was an awesome suggestion, too. In total, I spent $4.86 per tank top. I know what you're thinking... "$4.86 per tank? That's unbelievable, there must've been a catch!" I KID YOU NOT, THERE WAS NO CATCH! I came in on Thursday, got a call on Monday that the tanks were done, and came in on Thursday to pick up very beautiful, high-quality printed tank tops. He printed the design twice since I'm guessing one time didn't look as good. You bet I'm going to come back to Sport Tonic if I ever need to get anything screen printed again AND refer all of my friends to this wonderful guy. He deserves it! 5 star service, 5 star quality. (On another note, the store is conveniently located on the street with all the other wholesale t-shirt places, so I walked up & down buying the tank tops myself. I'm not sure how much money it saved me, but whether or not it did, I had to do it anyways because Sport Tonic doesn't carry grey tank tops.) read more

Horrible experience here! Don't buy in this place! The owner charge me for 2 dozens of Women T shirt and she never gave it to me! She force you to pay and then you can see the merchandise. I didn't notice because I was counting the others dozens of merchandise that I ordered. I pay to her more than 100 items today. The place is not safe to count so I decided to go to a safe place to do it. Never trust her! The worst part is that I'm from Florida and I call her to let her know that I didn't have 2 dozens of Women T Shirts and she told me that she see a lot of clients and she doesn't managed her inventory. She force me to pay before I get the total order so her worker never bring the 2 dozen that she was charging me. She talked with him and she said to me that I was right, he didn't bring the 2 dozen of Women Tshirt but she cant do anything because I didn't have the paper where she notes the order. A paper that she never give it to me and only she show me the total amount to make the payment. She was hurry in charging me but not for looking the correct merchandise. I don't recommend to go here and trust me this is my first review because don't like to do this! But I'm very disappointed how she managed the situation and telling me that she didn't know what I do after I leave the place. Her name is Diana and she have other store in other street. I lose 70$, and at the end doesn't matter for me. I was on vacation in LA and buying merchandise to selling in another place is not my full time job.
