They were always cooperative and found ways to help me upgrade my bikes with minimal cost, which I really appreciated. I purchased a Cervélo R5 from them and later they helped me trade it and order a Trek Domane SLR 7 SRAM Force for myself and my wife. I also bought my Wahoo KICKR Bike Shift smart bike through them, and Mike fully supported the shipment and home setup. At this point, it honestly feels like a daily relationship, almost like family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real support, honesty, and long term care not just a sale.

Finally the crank nearly seized up on my last ride. I was not sure whether it was the bottom bracket or the crank shaft. I have had wonderful services from Evolution before, so instead of taking apart the crank and the bottom bracket myself, I decided to leave my precious with the capable gentlemen at Evolution. They did not disappoint. They treated my bike with respect and we had excellent communication in terms of expectation setting; what needs to be done; and the replacement parts that were required. Chris was very knowledgeable and thorough and made sure that I knew all the options. In the end I got my bike in the best time possible, under these pandemic schedules with scarce parts. Super thankful to the entire team at Evolutions and especially Chris for making it all happen without any surprises. I will not hesitate in bringing my bike to Evolution again for any type of issues in the future.

I bought an adult bike from Cyclepath in 2019 and was hoping to get one for my daughter this year. I called and someone answered - I was intentionally being very pleasant because i was asking if they had stock for a 24 inch bike and I know stock questions are annoying sometimes! He told me in a deadpan voice "no stock." Thats fine. I went to ask if there was a size smaller and he then cut me off (I didn't even get to specify the size) and he said again in the same annoyed voice that there was no stock. I asked for clarification that they had no stock at all and he responded extremely annoyed and rudely that they had no stock (please tell me how I am supposed to have known this? I never received the Cyclepath stock bulletin, smh). To which I responded: "ohhhkay, you do not have to be so rude" - not raising my voice, but genuinely making the statement because I did nothing to deserve the tone. He then said: "Rude? How am I being rude?" and HUNG up on me. This is just totally unnecessary - I was hoping we could get bikes from the entire family from this store because I had a nice experience last summer, but obviously we will be taking our business elsewhere.

He took the time to answer all my questions (silly ones and all) and was honest in the advice he gave. All of Andy's staff are also helpful and knowledgeable especially Ryan who took the time to help me pick out the perfect bike helmet while Andy was getting my bike ready. Before making the purchase, he asked great questions to determine what type of bike would fit my needs then showed me to those types of models. I was able to ride a couple of bikes to get a feel for the difference and determine which I liked better. In the end I went with the purple 2017 Specialized Vita model in small. It rides so smooth, is comfortable and brings back that feeling of freedom, pure joy and FUN! I had forgotten how amazing it feels to ride a bicycle since I haven't had one in over 25 years!! I'm so looking forward to taking this awesome piece of perfection on the road. If you're looking for a great bike shop to buy a bike or get your bike repaired or serviced, definitely check out The Bike Asylum in Stouffville. Don't know his name, and don't wanna know. Pricko butts into conversations he wasn't invited to, blabs his unsolicited and ignorant opinion when it wasn't asked for, and can be dismissive, condescending or mocking even though he doesn't know what he's talking about. I've never had an interaction with this Dunning-Kruger troll where he didn't say, with total confidence, something that I knew was totally wrong, or where he didn't give an opinion even when it was about something outside his own experience. The store would be great if they got rid of him, but I dunno, maybe he's the owner? I've only been in a handful of times because I prefer to avoid him, but after the last unpleasant encounter I've sworn never to come here again. Too bad, but there's tons of other bike shops in the GTA that aren't infected with arrogant ballbags who do nothing but antagonize customers. Judging from reviews I've read, I'm not the only one turned off by the big douche.

Between two Specialized bikes - a road bike and a gravel bike - and my Mongoose hybrid, they've been looking after me for a long time. About a month ago, the frame on my eight-year-old Diverge developed what turned out to be a manufacturer's defect. I brought it into Bike Depot, where the owner inspected it, confirmed the issue, and told me they would handle everything directly with Specialized. Just over a month later, I picked up a brand-new, ready-to-ride Specialized Diverge E5 Comp. No runaround. No excuses. No cost. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, this was a reminder that some companies still stand behind what they sell. My sincere thanks to the entire Bike Depot team for making the process effortless, and to Specialized for honouring their warranty without hesitation. This is exactly the kind of experience that earns long-term loyalty.
