This is the best physical therapy center I have ever been to. I have been to many over the years. Last August, I developed extremely painful neck issues and went to another physical therapy clinic in Gresham. The therapist never once touched my body. All we did each time was sit in front of a computer and look at pictures of neck anatomy and pictures of home exercises. There was nothing "physical" about the "therapy" I was receiving and I kept getting worse and worse. Then, a friend referred me here. I saw Kevin who immediately began "physically" working on my neck and showing me home exercises. From my sessions with him and Kylie, my neck, which I had given up all hope of ever getting better, improved and I am happy to say that I am now completely pain free about 90% of the time. Even when I regress a bit, it's never as bad it was when I first started there. They never give up trying to help you and they have so many techniques to use, if one doesn't work, they use another until they find what works for you individual needs. They definitely do not use a "one size fits all" approach. I HIGHLY recommend them and feel deeply grateful for the help I have received from them. My experience at Gresham Sports care was the best experience I have ever had with a Physical Therapy office. I was really down and depressed. My surgery did not go well. I had a complication and my communication with my doctor was not going well. My therapist was Patrick Clinton. He helped me push through pain and encouraged me while giving me the tools to strengthen my neck and my spirit to gain my confidence again and become motivated to do my exercises and help myself. He was an active listener. This was key to knowing what I needed to work on and what was not working. He was very flexible and very positive. One day when I was at my lowest he even gave me a hug to let me know he cared how I felt. All of the staff was always pleasant. I loved walking through while other clients were meeting there therapist there was so much positive energy in the room. Thank you Patrick and staff today I am doing great. As an educator in the middle schools for 30 years, I've learned that equally important to being competent in our subject matter, is to be intentional about establishing healthy relationships with our students. This is what I see from the team at Sports Care. They are professional in both their knowledge and execution to individualize the proper care while at the same time, they are genuine about getting to know their clients. As an athlete growing up, I've been to other places where they get good at one or the other (knowledge of their practice and/or connection with the client) but not both. George is the reason I originally started going to Sports Care in Gresham and years ago I started worrying about what would happen when he retired. After I had ACL and meniscus reconstruction on my knee, I came to Sports Care Physical Therapy. It is a place filled with amazing and friendly trainers and physical therapists and because of them I have been able to make a fast recovery from my ACL surgery. It is a calm place with people that make you feel like family and treat you like family as well. Every trainer I've been with has been amazing and attentive and because of their help, I can now walk around without my crutches less than a month after my reconstructive surgery and am currently able to jog and jump without pain. I have been going to Gresham Sports Care for several years now to rehab different forms of injuries. while under their care i have always been treated with great respect from all the staff from the front office to the Physical therapist, assistants and trainers in the back. morning or afternoon Geroge will always greet you with a warm and friendly smile even if you are not his patient. i personally have always had Heather O. as my therapist. Heather is so kind and caring of all her patients and will go above and beyond to make every patient feel welcome and get the most out of every visit with her. Sports Care Physical Therapy (SCPT), Sandy, OR has performed wonders in improving my physical condition during and after extensive chemotherapy at OHSU. The entire staff to include the office receptionist, and therapists Kevin, Patricia and Nicole have been helpful and dedicated to my welfare. Excellent Physical Therapy practice. I would recommend this location for anyone. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely interested in my progress. They pushed in just the right way while explaining the reason for each exercise and movement. They have good equipment that is kept in good repair as well. The billing department was also helpful and was quick to correct the one mistake they made out of probably 50 visits for two separate surgeries. All in all, this is a Physical Therapy practice that is very effective and well run. I would recommend it for anyone following surgery, and for any single young male athlete. read more

I had heel surgery for a bone spur and went to this office twice a week for physical therapy and my heel is feeling much better for walking. My therapists were very professional and knowledgeable and the environment was very friendly amongst all the therapists which you can observe since everyone is generally treated in one very large room. I traded off between Patrick and Kylie who are awesome! I'm just so impressed with the care I received from both of them. You could,however, go to any of the therapists here and be very comfortable with the care that you would receive. The owner only hires the best!! read more

I was recently diagnosed with adhesive capsulitis (aka: frozen shoulder) and after not being able to get to my wallet in my back pocket, I broke down and went to Advantage Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic (where I scheduled a shot) and they referred me to SportsCare for some PT. I was skeptical but I just finished my PT with George and his team and I can't tell you how great they were. I believe that just seeing George at SportsCare could have solved my shoulder problem. They have a 110% positive attitude and I can't tell that I even had a problem. If you're having issues, these guys are GREAT! read more

I began physical therapy in April after surgery for an upper arm fracture. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and helpful everyone is, from the front desk staff to the PT's and assistants. After a couple of sessions it was very apparent to me all the employees worked as a dedicated team. I continued my therapy for 8+ weeks, working with George and Kristen. The rehab was very positive and progressive in nature and my range of motion continues to improve every week. These are very knowledgeable and dedicated people. I strongly recommend SportsCare. I graduated from chemo in a weakened painful place. Erica, at sportscare physical therapy, began working with me. She listened carefully to my needs and to my body's needs and made recommendations on gentle exercises and stretches that would strengthen my body. Many times I really felt that I couldn't do it but she gently encouraged me and directed me in such a way that enabled me to gain back alot of strength. I had an Awesome experience here, They had an opening the day i called and got me in right away. Raichael at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Kevin Eischen Is the therapist i saw and after one session and a weekend of his stretching/workout routine i was back at work after a week of shoulder pain.
