He does not respond to emails or texts, and he gives off an aura of "I'm too busy" or doesn't care. Not sure who at this office decided that the front desk folks should really push customers to book 2X a week, but it's really annoying. I've never gone to a PT office that does this and I've been to many in my lifetime. I'm a single mom in debt on a very limited budget and I've had to explain my situation MULTIPLE times with Joshua and it's like he didn't even pay attention. Jeewa should be the one there in person versus Joshua as he's much nicer and professional acting. I've only worked with one of the PTs which was Dr.Ashley Chan. She's wonderful and was a pleasure to work with. No complaints there. The facility itself is pretty big and well stocked with machines and items. I am so happy that I found Becca when I began having vertigo for the second time in my life. The…read morefirst time I went to so many doctors visits (one urgent care, two family medicine, two ENT, two neurologists) that did very little to help me understand why I had vertigo and how to treat it which left me with lingering dizziness for almost a year and eventually required medication. Becca heard my history and current issues and immediately identified my current problem as BPPV by using her fancy video eye recording goggles. Based on my eye movements she moved me through a procedure with the goal of moving the crystals back into the proper canal. I was rather dizzy and nauseous after the procedures. Becca was hopeful after my first visit that everything would be back to normal but I had some residual issues and she told me I should come back for more treatment. At our second visit she noted more eye movement with her fancy eye video goggles and we went through a different procedure to treat. I was less dizzy/nauseous after this time and Becca encouraged me that she thought this treatment should do the trick. I had some vertigo again at home and texted Becca feeling very concerned and she quickly replied and reassured me that the crystals were most likely still settling into place. At our final visit Becca tested me again with the fancy goggles and she saw no eye movements, hooray! I did have some lingering issues with my vision and complex visual fields triggering some dizziness and she gave me exercises to do to help reset my brain/vision. After a few weeks of the exercises I felt back to normal. I was slightly nervous about the self pay but comparing the cost to my husbands Pt visits to an in network PT I realized the prices were much lower at Nuero Base Camp. Becca provided me super bills which I submitted to my insurance for partial credit towards my deductible. They even rejected a few for very nit-picky reasons and Becca updated them for me for resubmission. I wish I had been referred to a Physical Therapist like Becca that specialized in dizziness by any of the many doctors I saw during my first bout of vertigo. It would have saved me a lot of time, money, and health anxiety. I would recommend Becca to anyone struggling to understand their dizziness or vertigo.

I work with a lot of talented physical therapists, and my good friend and co-founder of Clinicient Jerry Henderson researched clinics in Portland to give my wife the recommendation of Portland Sports Medicine and Spine Physical Therapy. He chose them based on their background in the McKenzie spine techniques of manual therapy that are evidence based and provide results that have not only freed her from pain, but started the restoration of function after only a few visits. We have been elated with the results. From the initial experience of setting an appointment, to the reception by the front office staff, to the handling of our somewhat challenging insurance provider (United Healthcare), to the outcomes my wife has experienced, our experience has been nothing short of AMAZING. She injured her back and shoulder and was practically immobilized from the pain. She went to a chiropractor and massage therapists, and while those offered temporary relief from the pain, they did not address the core issues. Michael took the time to understand my wife's injury and did everything he could to fit her into a VERY busy schedule including making early morning appointments available and using his lunch break to treat her.
