Came here for a very specific item that I saw on clearance on the website. I drove to this location because it said the item was still in stock here. I wanted to see it physically before purchasing so instead of making the order online, I drove here to check it out first. This is a nice store. It'sneat and well organized and there are a lot of employees working. I spoke with four different employees but unfortunately they were unable to find the item even though I showed them that it was listed as in stock in the store. They explained that sometimes the inventories are not correct and did seem to make a good effort to locate the item for me. I'm disappointed that I couldn't find the item that I wanted, but this store is nice and I would definitely come back here. ZERO STARS - Terrible, time consuming and difficult experience. Spoke with 3 different agents. I purchased a camp chef table and when I finally got to go camping to use it there were no legs and no windscreen. This was a birthday present I never got to use until last weekend so it was never opened. My fault. However, I'm told that there is nothing they can do. It's been more than 30 days. No swapping it out. No replacing of the missing legs and windscreen, nothing. I essentially paid full price and got 1/3 the item. Totally useless! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE AGAIN. I will also add that this is not the first issue I have had with ordering something online and not getting what I paid for with them. NEVER AGAIN! read more

While Mom was checking out the clothes at TJ Maxx, I wandered into Sportsman's and checked out the firearms. Nope, I can't buy anything here in Idaho as much as I would have wanted to. I did see reasonable prices on pistols and they have a pretty solid display of ammunition. The gent behind the counter was personable and we had a nice conversation even though he knew that I wasn't going to buy anything. Hunting, fishing, camping, all sorts of stuff. I would say that this is as good, if not better than, Cabela's. read more

Purchased a CampChef smoker through an online sale. Never received it but interesting enough they refunded my card without me even calling and getting after them. About 6 to 8 months later I got a random charge on my credit card that would've been for about the same amount as what I paid for the smoker. Luckily enough the original transaction was through PayPal as well as this unauthorized charge that came through so I was able to call PayPal and they resolved it for me. I think there's a big disconnect between their inventory department and their accounting department. I ended up purchasing a smoker from a different vendor. I'd be very cautious when ordering something online with this company. read more

Got a gun, took 30 minutes. Went out to the middle of nowhere and shot 450 dollars worth of ammunition in 30 minutes. God bless America.

Sportsman's is awesome! The guy in archery stayed late after the store had closed to install a new sight onto a bow. He even tested the bow multiple times in the test range and made adjustments multiple times. The employee was very knowledgeable and gave many insights and recommendations. Did you know that this is one of the only sporting goods stores in Idaho Falls that stays open beyond 6:00pm? It's fantastic! Plus, the gun counter is completely stocked with all the latest firearms and the best new accessories. The last time I purchased a gun here, I bought a Glock 23, 4th generation pistol. The whole process took less than 10 minutes before I was out the door and on my way to the range. I highly recommend Sportsman's when thinking about purchasing your next firearm. read more

Sportsmans is legit. I'm knocking them a star for prices on their firearms. They are comprable to Bass Pro Shop or a Cabelas on a much smaller scale, but have everything you need for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping.etc. I come from a larger city and am used to going to Bass Pro, but I love Sportsmans. As I mentioned before much like Bass Pro or Cabelas these guys over SOME of their guns a bit. They are open to price matching. read more

If your going to buy a firearm come here first. There are always several guys on duty and most are shooting professionals in some way. They can answer questions and let you handle anything they have on stock. For someone who is buying their first firearm, this is the only place to buy. If your looking for a more complicated custom made arm you may want to visit the gun shop off the menan exit on the side of highway 20. But, for everything else this place is it. read more
