I used to buy everything through Rocky Mountain and have bought thousands and thousands of dollars…read morethrough here. I've been having an issue with my 7 pin IQ bowsight which I bought through Rocky. The sight has a lifetime warranty on it. I understand having to send it in and wait for iq to get back to me, I brought the sight up to one of the guys at the counter and he started messing with it. Adjusted it way out of whack had absolutely no clue what he was doing then proceeded to take an Allen wrench to the tightening screw and stripped it. I literally watched him over tighten it and strip it. He blamed me for stripping it. Then through a hissy fit because i pulled the sight off and told them to take care of the warranty. That's just the start. He was mishandling my bow and knocking the cams all over the counter with absolutely no care in the world. I don't know what happened to all the good archery techs but I will not spend another penny there. I'll drive across the state and deal with Sheridan Rocky before I give Casper location anymore of my business.

Upon entering I was greeted by Mike. He spent several minutes explaining where I should fish and what flies to use. He circled the areas on a map to make things clear on where to fish. The store is tastefully decorated with a large selection of flyfishing related merchandise. It's in a great location, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Even though the shop is in "town" parking was not a problem at all. There is a city parking deck across the street but we were able to park on the street. I'd highly recommend The Ugly Bug Fly Shop....especially for visiting anglers who are not familiar with the area.

Game Crossing is a large, well lit, open store with multiple spacious tables for gaming, modeling, painting, hanging out, etc. It has a decent amount of parking, and carries some unusual games besides the expected magic:the gathering and 40k. There are lots of events and open-late nights, including a wed. night open gaming and decent support for Friday Night Magic. I can't recommend it enough, the only comparable stores for space and player base I've seen have been in much larger cities. They also run a comic bin service.
