Pleasant greeting at the door, but they wouldn't let me in with a backpack. Came back in and went to pickup a shotgun and ammo I ordered as in stock in store on their website. Ammo wasn't actually there, and wouldn't be available until May 6th. I asked to cancel the ammo order then and they told me they can't cancel it until it comes into the store in a few weeks. I tried to pick up the shotgun, even though their website said its legal in all 50 states and the manufacturer says its legal in my state, they wouldn't sell it to me. Called customer service. They cancelled the ammo order immediately. Told me it looked like I was right about the shotgun but all the supervisors that can fix it were gone for the day and they would have to follow up with me tomorrow. It seemed the the firearms counter people really were unfamiliar with some of the firearm sale laws and actually were trying to Google information. Very disappointing. read more

Placed an order on-line on 12/14 for a blind and relating accessories. When reviewing the order, the blind was the wrong size (too small). Called customer service and since blind was out of stock, they would not backorder a blind for me (price was never discussed). The place itself does have plenty of fishing and hunting items. However the salespeople leave a lot to be desired. I walked to the back where the guns are and there was a salesman behind the counter with his head buried in his cellphone. I stood there for about 5 seconds, no response. I said hello and he looked up. I asked if they serviced or refurbished old shotguns. He said yes with his head once again buried in his phone. Asked another question and he just said the techs come in and take care of that. No mention of price, how long it would take, or when the techs actually are there. All this with hardly looking up and acknowledging the customer. I can guarantee I couldn't identify this guy in a police lineup! That's for sure. read more

Bought a CZ rifle and immediately discovered it had a broken safety. Brought it back the next day expecting to return it or have it fixed for free. Sportsman's wanted $40 to accept it back for warranty repair/replace. The clerk told me "yeah, a lot of firearms we sell are defective. QC these days is terrible." This is what he told me. Honest truth. Maybe consider this "QC" and $40 return situation at Sportsman's before purchasing a firearm there. I've never encountered this anywhere else. Visited shop rite while in the area and saw this place in the same parking lot. My experience wasn't that good at all. I wasn't acknowledged nor greeted as I sat there for 10 minutes watching them hand a pump action shotgun, without properly clearing it to a bald Caucasian mid aged gentleman. I walked the nearby isles for 10 minutes and kept approaching the glass case. Still, no acknowledgement. Finally I was greeted. The convo went like this: "Hey, I'm assuming you need help?" -"Yes sir, I do" I replied "What can I help you with?" -"Do you sell F&N" I asked "Yes we do. It's down there. I'll be with you in a second. -"Sorry I checked but didn't see them in the case" I replied What exact gun are you looking for" -"Im looking for the 509C Tactical" I said "why?" -"What do you mean WHY?" I asked back (Quick giggle and clean up) "I mean, why aren't you looking for the FNX .45 ahahaha" Anyway - he proceeds to walk me down the case where the guns were covered by an employee standing over them with his laptop and papers on the case, as he casually was in discussion with another employee-woman. "Oh here they are... can I see THAT one please?" I asked The lap top employee slides his laptop over and points to the full size "it's right there" "No, the 509C Tactical" I said again "Yes, that's it" the original gentleman says "No it's not. That's the full size, without the threaded barrel, this one - this is the compact tactical" I said firmly He clears the pistol, hands it to me, I guide the slide back, check the trigger wall and break, etc. I said "I'm trying to make a decision bc I CCW a G19, and have a G43 I rotate on hot days like this. This one's a little heavier and similar to the 19 size, but I could use it for traveling, as I travel a lot and the 24rd mag with suppressor would be ideal for some hotel rooms in cities I travel to...." He looks at me and says "yea. Ccw. I'm gonna get back to helping that gentleman down there" (with the shotgun) I handed him back the firearm. He placed it in the case and walked away. That's it. That was my experience. I went there to buy the damn gun, regardless. I left with nothing but terrible service. read more

Nice guy with a mohawk helped me with my bow put a peep sight on and adjusted the length unfortunately after only about 30 arrows I don't know if it was his knot or he didn't burn the end when he tied the serving off the peep actually came untied. Luckily I caught it before I took my next shot. This store needs a little better training for its employees in the archery department. Wouldn't recommend if you care about your safety. read more

Ordered two products from here online. Said both were available to pickup that day. Called the store after placing the order at 3pm, they said I had to wait until i received an email to come pick up my order. It wasn't until the next day i received an email that only one of the products were available for pickup. It's now 8 days later and i just got off the phone with customer service and the second item won't arrive for another 4 days. The product availability online doesn't reflect stock in store. Customer service here is top notch. Even though it's a big box store you get treated friendly and with respect. I've shopped their competition and had to deal with a lot of ego and poor treatment--If they don't know something they make you look like an idiot for asking in the first place. Sportsman's prices are also decent. One of the big draws for me is their hours. Most gun stores aren't open until 11 and close at 5 or 6. These guys are open 9am to 9pm which definitely works better for my schedule. read more

I ordered a new gun online. Said it would be ready for pickup by April 4th it was actually a week early. I made an appointment for 130 and was early they helped me right away and the process was so quick and easy. My salesman was so helpful and courteous. I give him a 10. The store was clean and stocked. I'll definitely be back to buy more. All they need is a range and it would be the ultimate spot. Looking at some of the previous reviews I can't see why they had such a bad time here they were all so nice and accessible. read more

I would give a zero if I could. I ordered a pistol mag online and paid for it. I got an online confirmation that my order was received, credit card charged and that the item was in stock. So being that it was 12PM Sunday and I had ordered it about 12 hours before around midnight or shortly after. Again, it was one item, a pistol magazine and they had been opened for about 3 hours, I set out to retrieve my order. I went to the store and gave my information to the woman at customer service. She took my paper and went to a room behind the register. She comes back and says, "Well, there are a few problems with your order. First, none of my online order team works on the weekend. So the earliest they would get to this order is tomorrow. (Monday) Also, it states on here very clearly that we will give you an email update. Since there was no update sent to you, not sure why you would assume the order is ready?!" Ok, I say, well I am here now. Let me buy it, "Well, someone called and put this on hold. I can't sell it to you." Really?! What the hell?! Never in my life have I been treated like this. At this point I tell this incredibly unhelpful woman, "Hell with it, cancel my order! First time here, last time here!" She retorts with, "I can't cancel an online order, you will have to call customer service to do so." I bought the item online, which I would think would match their store inventory! If that is the case, why couldn't I buy, what I already paid for versus someone that called and said hold it please?! For whatever reason, the woman at the counter with glasses and curly hair would not do so. I call customer service within five minutes of leaving and was told the order was already suspended and being canceled! WHAT?! I ask the rep on the phone when that was done and she tells me. "We don't get to see the date or time in our system." Funny right considering that the woman in the store told me that none of the online staff was in and that she couldn't cancel it! I think I know who suspended the order pending cancelation! What is even more infuriating, they charge $49.99 for an item the manufacturer sells for $35.99 as well as most of their competition. First and last time for me at Sportsman's Warehouse! You never get a second chance to make a first impression. These folks failed miserably! read more

Was told that the other ammunition was on back order but they still charge me for the full order. Told me I had a call corporate office try to get a refund for the other ammunition it was on back order he said they would issue me a credit but only issue me a credit for half of the back order. Very nice people. Clean new store. Was so happy to see it come in. 5 box limit on 12g shells. The shelves are full and they are emptying every flat. They could sell by the flat but they open every flat. Only 5 boxes per person. That's 125 shots. PA is a trap shooting hub. 125 shots is not even half of a nights practice. so i bought a minibike from there yesterday. may 9.2022 it was assembled cc100x Coleman minibike i was riding it then somehow the middle forks just came off and broke as i said the store builded it the policy of the store is to not return anything u get from there so i almost broke my leg thank god i was going slow i'm not saying the store is bad the thing is they have to put time building this bikes that they get i bought a airsoft gun from there and i enjoyed it but i think they should build the bikes way safer and better too read more
