My husband was at Sprain Brook Manor to recover from sepsis. The staff was wonderful, only good things to say about them!

I'm in the medical field and expected a much better experience, especially since this was a critical time and emotional experience to start with. My parent was admitted and my siblings and I had to be the care plan team to make sure our parent received proper care; and even with that it was still a struggle. From no one answering the phones, to not receiving call backs, to may parent having to change their own bed linen, to unsanitary bathroom conditions between residents; the whole experience was a nightmare and overly frustrating. The social worker was not helpful at all and in my opinion, did not understand his role and was rude. They also failed to advise of financial obligation at admission and thus it was a rush to d/c once the billing days had expired. No one clearly informed of anything and attention to care was minimal at best. Never would this be my recommendation of a place to recover!! Someone needs to go in and review this without them knowing who you are or why you are there, because if this is how they would treat my parent and we are educated in the field, I feel sorry for those who can't speak up for themselves. I have to share our deeply disappointing experience with Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation &…read moreNursing. My grandmother has been a resident here for several years, and in that time, we've faced consistent issues with the staff's attitude and treatment of our family. Visits have often felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, as the staff has repeatedly been rude and unaccommodating. They've even made my mother feel threatened by bringing up family disputes rather than focusing on my grandmother's care. Because of internal family tensions--my aunt holds guardianship and is not supportive of family visits--the nursing home has enforced her wishes to an extreme. We've been denied even the chance to celebrate my grandmother's 95th birthday in a common area. It's as if the home finds it easier to side with convenience rather than advocate for a 95-year-old resident's dignity. We've also witnessed serious neglect. My grandmother has been left lying on a mattress on the floor, undressed, for hours. When we've requested basic care like a diaper change, we've waited six, seven, even eight hours with no action, met only with eye-rolling and dismissive excuses. To make matters worse, the nursing home helped ban my cousin--my grandmother's own granddaughter--based on a false accusation simply because she advocated for better care. When my cousin tried to visit for my grandmother's birthday, she was humiliated by a face-scanner alarm that blocked her entry. This is the extent to which the home and my aunt have gone to keep family away, making my grandmother's life even more isolated and miserable. Lastly, be aware that this facility has changed its name multiple times to hide poor reviews and a troubled history. They're renovating the exterior to look more upscale and attract new clients, but the fundamental problems remain. The staff's lack of compassion and the poor quality of care are still the same. It's not about the building; it's about the people they employ, and that makes this place truly unacceptable for anyone's loved one. The 3rd floor are the gates of HELL. The nurses here are pure EVIL!! Very few really care or do a good job. The head nurse (Daniella?) is the Devil's ring leader! Horrible horrible human beings. Go read all the reviews on Goog.le don't believe the fake and paid for 4-5 star reviews. Go read the one star reviews. This has been going on for years!! Nothing changes no matter how many times they change the name or apply another coat of paint on the building. The people the employ are HORRIBLE!!

Let me begin by saying that when I initially started at Executive Park Physical Therapy I was in really bad shape. I was suffering from excruciating medial tibial stress syndrome . Which is basically a bad case of shin splints (the worse). It was so painful to the point that I was unable to run, or walk up and down the stairs, etc. People told me that I would never get rid of shin splints and that they would always hurt whenever I run. Just few weeks here and I was already seeing progress. My legs were feeling stronger and I was meeting my goals with great results. Dr. Ivan cares for each and every one of his patients. He listens to your demands and he provides the right therapy to relieve your symptoms. I now have "legs made of Gold", lol. Dr. Ivan is a wonderful Doctor, very knowledgeable in his work, and has excellent table side manners. Dr, Ivan and his team are very supportive, encouraging and display excellent professionalism. They basically treat you like family and ensure that your needs are met. Last but not least the facility is very clean, and they have top quality exercise machines. I highly recommend Executive Park Physical Therapy of Yonkers.

When I met Terry, I immediately saw why both doctors and my friend recommended her. I have been around a lot of PT and had never had such a thorough examination. What was most notable was how much Terry explained to me- something I had not experienced before. Not only was she very upfront about how bad my issue was, she gave me a really great understanding of what was going on, how I had gotten there, and what we would be doing to fix it. I'm not the best with keeping up with my exercises, but I started to understand that we would get through the process much faster when I was good about them. Terry was firm but sensitive to what I was going through. And she made me understand that this was a team effort and I was not going to get better unless I put in my fair share. I have never had someone put so much thought and care into my understanding and participation. And it absolutely made a difference! I had thought that my back issues would just keep coming back because I'm getting older. Terry helped me understand how to manage things on my own. She also has great hands, so I will still see her occasionally when I need more help (also because she's just fun to talk to!). But between the work she has done on me and with me, I no longer feel like I have to live with back pain forever if I take care of myself. Thank you, Terry, for your dedication to actually healing your patients! If you want to get better and learn how to stay that way, go see Terry!!!!
