It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!

Tara has an open and collaborative approach while adding her experience and design knowledge which resulted in a kitchen I could not have imagined on my own but reflects me. Details of the design and layout were greatly paid attention to. The kitchen has great flow and function as well as beauty. I was given ideas and resources but was allowed time and freedom to look for backsplash tile and lighting that was not in their showroom which enabled me to make the kitchen mine and unique. I do wish as much detail was paid to execution. Craftsmanship was stellar. However, I was the one paying attention to details on some work such as clean up, scratches to be repaired or alignment of drawers/doors. These were always taken care of urgently after I brought them to K&B's attention but I would rather they consistently checked work along the way. I also feel they could have been more consistent on cleanliness of site. My space was fairly open to other rooms but there are walls. Some of the the tradesman hung plastic and cleaned up after their work, others sanded without any barrier nor fans leaving me far more to clean up than expected nor necessary. Every single person who entered the home was respectful and pleasant. I trusted them to be in the home while I was not. I definitely recommend Kitchen & Bath Etc. and Tara. Then I received an email saying 8-1. They showed up at 1:15. I just got out of the hospital and needed my son to assist me at medical appointments. I called them twice during the day to just be told they are out for delivery. When the driver finally showed up he tells me was to be here early but his equipment got stuck in the mud. Extremely poor customer service. That information soul's be relayed to the customer. My son could have provided assistance to me at my medical appointments instead of waiting around from 8-1. The managers could have cared less. They just lost a long time customer who just spent almost 3k on this order.

The reason why l gave 1-star is because of the women at Warren location, to at least check to see where, stock inventory was supposed to be, also, Mennards does not honor "Veteran's" with discounts. We even told them in advance which brand and size appliances we would buy. We asked for a "built-in" look to accommodate our 30" wide fridge and stove. The cabinet over the fridge is way too wide for our 30" wide fridge. Worse, they tried to blame us for the mix-up. We did NOT do our own measuring, NOR did we order our own cabinets. They paid attention to the smallest details, including how the veins on my tile design interacted with each other. They took extra time to find the best solution when my desired fridge didn't fit into my kitchen design. They ended up cutting into the wall to make it work. They even removed the shower concrete all in one piece in order to minimize the noise for my downstairs neighbor. I love my new kitchen and baths.
