I get that the sales people are pushy because they earn most of their salary from commission. But I came in with the Costco program and should have been provided me with a quote for the car I was interested in purchasing. Brian was making small talk by asking me what I plan to do with the vehicle and then proceeds to tell me about his own experience. He finally gave me a ballpark figure but would not give me the formal form Costco states online that we can ask for to make a decision. He ran around saying he couldn't give me a form nor the amount he was quoting me because "He needed to show proof to his boss that he had helped a customer" and he needed to keep the scratch paper. I have an MX5 that I keep in total showroom condition. 2010. 16 years old. Looks (and drives) like it rolled off the showroom floor yesterday. I'm retired and frankly could be happy just taking Uber everywhere. Four years ago, I'd been checking out the market for MX5s but wasn't unpressed with what I was finding. Then all of a sudden, there it was. My car. Color I wanted. Softtop. Unreal low mileage. I bought it on the spot. This is a review from an experience here from a few years ago. I am reposting this because this "business" got my review deleted. I found out about someone else's 1-star review that got deleted; it makes you wonder how many 1-star reviews of this place are missing. The sales department is full of snakes. The were trying to sneak in addendums and extra bs that I did not request. They would only show me the monthly price instead of the total price of the car. That's how they hide the extras into the sale. I had to really press to figure out what was going on. When I wanted to take a picture of the price breakdown on the paper they were showing me, the "salesman" pulled the paper back and wouldn't let me take it. And on point with text messages updates which I appreciate. I dropped my vehicle off at 245 and my car was ready around 530pm when coming up to my vehicle the car was shimmering glossy and clean, the car drove smooth and the inside of my vehicle was vacuumed and wiped clean from the inside. This business is unethical. I negotiated to buy a car. I told them I was buying it, I was on my way after work. They called me frequently throughout the day. They confirmed my appointment to come buy the car. When I was halfway there, they called me told me they sold the car, but they had something older for me with less miles. The deal was done. My husband and I were interested in potentially upgrading our car to a 2022 Mazda CX-5 . After visiting this dealership I WILL NEVER BUY A MAZDA! They completely LOWBALL your trade in, so be prepared and make sure you know what your current vehicle is worth. We did our research and we know what our 2019 SUV is worth, the salesman came back with a figure almost $3000 less than that number. He said actually this is what your car is worth...but we are willing to give you *shocker* the exact same lowball price. He explained that they labeled our vehicle as FAIR based on Kelley Blue Book. On the KBB website vehicles listed as fair are vehicles that need mechanical repairs...our vehicle is a 2019 with 60,000 miles that has been taken in for routine maintenance on time since we purchased it, has never been in any accidents & beyond a few very small paint nicks is in very good condition, also as of our latest visit to our dealership service center (1 month ago), there were ZERO repairs needed. KBB states that 20% of vehicles fall into the fair category.. so Mazda you are saying 80% of vehicles are in a better condition than a 2019 with 60,000 miles that has a routine maintenance schedule and has had ZERO issues? We walked outside waiting for the keys TO OUR VEHICLE, the salesman comes out to try to explain how the estimate works to my husband LOL. I was annoyed I had to ask for the keys TO OUR CAR again...then he comes out with the young sales manager who then says...all CPO vehicles are listed as fair etc and I can show you some used vehicles that might be more in your price range. LOL no one ever even asked our price range..so I'm not sure where he got the notion that the price was ever the issue. We were super insulted and upset that we had to ask for the keys TO OUR VEHICLE a 3rd time. Why do we have to ask THREE times to get OUR CAR KEYS back? Additionally, everyone should do their research on what their trade in is worth before visiting this dealership, because they will try to scam you. read more
