Buyer beware! The finance guy is not "your friend". They are all professional sellers and they know all the tricks. Don't fall for them. KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO PAY AND OPTIONS YOU WANT AND DON'T LET THEM TALK YOU INTO ANYTHING ELSE. One trick I noticed and my sister fell for... A lady walks around near you with a bouquet of flowers. You'll later see them sitting on the finance desk. He's gonna tell you some lady comes in selling flowers and he can't resist buying them for his wife. Yeah right! That's designed to get you to think he's a nice guy. He's gonna "call in favors" to get you good deals with on extras, the rate, whatever. No! You may have gotten those anyway. He'll tell you he's "calling in a favor" to reduce your interest rate? NO! You already qualified for that better rate (buy rate). They initially gave you a higher rate (sell rate) so they can later "save you money" to afford that extra warranty or whatever buy reducing the rate back down towards what you qualified for. He'll tell you he's gonna "buy down the rate" so your payments will stay the same with the extra items. This works far too often. The vehicle is good (so far) but the finance area lives up to the "used car salesman" reputation. A good learning experience for my sister. read more

Initially I thought I'd leaving this dealership a raving review. However, within 14 days of purchasing one of their "Blue certified" used Mercedez I informed them the brakes were extremely squeaky. I drove over 60 miles back to them to have the brakes fixed. They simply sprayed a bunch of lubricant on them...they still squeak. They claimed it was due to it being a luxury car and that their brakes squeak (mind you this is not my first luxury car). Fast forward, after they service the brakes my rims immediately begin to be covered in brake dust (silver rims turned completely black within a day of operation.) They refuse to do anything about it. They says it because it's luxury. Then they claim it's because I drive it too much. Then they claim it's because don't drive it enough. The brakes are an issue that I have communicated to my salesman from the beginning of taking it home. This isn't something I am trying to "scam" them for. A 2021 Mercedez with 45k miles should not be having this type of issue! I've owned 5 cars and never had my rims caked in brake dust. I'm absolutely disgusted in how they are trying to gaslight me into thinking this is normal. read more

Six months later, I suddenly started receiving unprofessional text messages from different employees claiming I still owed $300 -- with no proof or explanation of what it was for. I repeatedly asked for a receipt or breakdown and never received one. Instead, they threatened to involve lawyers over this small amount. I've tried for over a week to resolve this, calling several times and leaving voicemails, but no one answers. They only text or leave voicemails instead of handling things properly or calling back. He was able to quote me an out the door price with no dealer add-ons, no BS. He was even able to reduce the MSRP pricing for us. Right away we could tell that this car dealership was different. Every other dealership had these crazy mark ups and were unwilling to remove the things we did not need. Ken Grody Ford is definitely an honest place of business! Rene was unable to help us once we got there, but Sherif took care of us. He was professional, friendly, and kind, and made our experience much better than majority of the other dealerships we went to. He even tried to see if he could get us a better rate than my bank. Turns out my bank had a better rate, but I still appreciate him trying. This XLE actually came with some upgrades which we were pleasantly surprised about. This one had the upgraded leather steering wheel with a heating system in case your hands get cold during the winter. This car also came with heated seats, blind spot monitoring, and the upgraded backup camera. This was an excellent deal and we are so happy everywhere else was trying to quote us for basic models nearly $4000 - $5000 more than what we got this car for. We shopped around for a whole month before deciding on a car, I wish we came here from the get-go! I recently visited Ken Grody Ford in Redlands for a simple oil change. I arrived right at 7 AM and was told it would take about an hour to an hour and a half. I settled into the waiting room, expecting a fairly standard wait. Unfortunately, it turned into a bit of a frustrating experience. By the time we hit the two-hour mark, I finally asked the receptionist for an update. It turned out my car had actually been ready for about an hour already. They had called and texted me, but I didn't see the messages since my phone was in the car. While I take responsibility for that part, I was a bit disappointed that the receptionist, who I had interacted with earlier, didn't just let me know in person. It would have saved me that extra hour of sitting around. I had told my wife please take my truck for a warranty work related to Ken grody and she said okay they will get on it and even acknowledge the small minor problem with the broken toggle switch on the driver side and said they will need to have the truck for a whole day so I went and picked up my wife from the dealership due to quote we don't have shuttle that will go far as 15 miles which we don't live over 15 miles so I took it upon myself to take a day off my work to pick her up and and later pick up my daughter from school all because only one car now that's in the shop so I had called the service reps when will I hear from him since they will have my truck for another day so Mr Kev knew that I had only one car to drive now and did even offer a loaner vehicles anyways he had told me that I will be hearing from him the next day at about noon and so as for me being patient I had gave him ample of time to call me back but it's now almost 2 pm so rather than calling him it's not going anywhere because I had called them and all they did was give me the run around and straight to the bots after so now I'm two days in not going to work and missing two days pay check just because of their irresponsible profession. I took my car in for an oil change. $130 and they didn't even wash the outside or vacuum. I got past that. I'm writing the review because I told them I had a rattle by my door and at pick up they said they didn't hear it. My husband hear it and it was apparent. Low & below 2 weeks later I get a recall for the front door arm reinforcement welds that can crack and cause.... You guessed it! A rattle. Parts are now available. So I left a couple negative reviews awhile back and they were well deserved and honest. With that being said I give credit where it's due. Took my truck in for some warranty work and was approached regarding the poor reviews. The management took my criticism and reviews serious enough that they wanted to speak to me and apologize for the hassle I went through. They let me know that they made some changes to the delivery process and my reviews had been the topic of a couple managers meetings. They thought enough of me to approach me directly and this shows they are taking a proactive approach to my comments. This helps tremendously in changing my view of the dealership. During the same time I was having the warranty work done, they washed my truck and accidentally scratched a couple sections of both doors. I brought it to the attention of the service write (Robert Torres) and he went out of his way to make things right. Super nice guy and gave me no argument or tried to defend his staff. THIS DEALERSHIP LETS THERE MECHANICS DO UNDER THE TABLE WORK WITHOUT LETTING THERE CUSTOMERS KNOW BEFOREHAND. First time I picked the car up it was just to fix my squishy brake pedal issue. I get the car back and brakes feel the same and they left the lug nuts loose on my car so the wheel was wobbling bad about to fall off causing my wife to have a panic attack while following me. I take it back again for the squishy brakes and they make me replace my abs block and it's still the same issue and on the way home I noticed very bad grinding coming from my front left wheel I get it home and take the wheel off and notice they left all my hardware loose calipers and mounting bracket. I tell him just give me a refund and I'll work on the car myself from now on. He says "the mechanic agreed to give you $150 back" I said fuck no he left all the hardware loose I need it all back. He says "I'm sure there's car didn't leave like that" I hung up and went down there, just for the parts and service director to tell me it's not there responsibility. read more

He tried his best to give us the best price for the truck and was fair to negotiate a deal. Highly recommend to ask for Jimmy when buying a new vehicle here at KG Ford. Also for the Service Department Robert really helped me out with a speaker in the truck that came out defective and got it swapped out. I also had a tire that I noticed air leaking and I did not see a nail in the tire but he also swapped it out for a new tire, although during the process of swapping the tire and doing the alignment for my truck, one of the wheels got scraped and he also swapped the wheel for a new one and was all done in two days. I did get a loaner for the meantime and for their mistake of damaging the wheel I did not have to fill up the loaner. Had a pretty heartbreaking experience, left my mom in tears. Found a great vehicle and worked out the deal we were looking for. Went through everything getting the loan set up but after 2 hours the finance department tried to extort another $4k on top of what we were paying. This predatory sales tactic caused my mom to brake down and leave the place in tears. Times are tough and trying to extort money out of people is harsh. Would advise going elsewhere. Follow up, a sales person called and said thay would like to make things better. I gave him a number for the car. The sales person said they would talk to the sales manager and try to get me that price. They then message me back to call them because they worked it out and we would be happy. I call the sales person and they said they got me the deal I wanted and more for my trade in. Intentionally making it sound like they got me the price and trade in I wanted, and putting an urgency on buying the car asap. The sales person purposely left out that they were still trying to up charge me $1200 from price I said. They did not come out and say this till I dragged the numbers out of them. More deceptive sales tactics, trying to get me to buy dishonestly. A honest sales person would have come out and said we couldn't match the number you said but we can do this. read more
