The worst experience ever…read more Before our insurance would allow them to begin repairs on the car, they told me is it would be ready within 11 days. Once that 11th day came, we heard every excuse as to why my car wasn't ready. Finally, they told us that they ordered a part for the car, but it wouldn't arrive until the next day. The next day came and the car wasn't ready. The next day came, but their painting machine broke so I'd have to wait an entire week since they don't work weekends and the paint needs time to rest. They were able to paint my car, but it still needed to be aligned. They ended up losing my keys, costing us another week since this happened on a Friday. Finally they were able to operate on my car's alignment, but they still needed to order the headlight. This ended up lasting 4 weeks for something we were told would last 11 days. On top of that, they also took all of the change in the car, a phone charger, and a cap from my trunk. This is the worst place to take your car too, not to mention their work is crappy. The replacement parts they put on are plated over the original parts and grind against them. Horrible service on all fronts!

I slowed my speed until the next exit and got off the highway, not having a clue where I would go for an assessment of the damage. A corner gas station referred me to the Caliber Collision location on Aldine Westfield. I had no idea how extensive the damage was nor if I would be able to drive the 40 miles back home. It was a bit stressful. Kyle Raines, Center Manager of that location, greeted me with a smile and asked how he could help me. And then he took one look at my car and knew what I needed. He gave me 2 options: the quick, easy and temporary but sufficient one or a full replacement of the panel which had come loose. Due for service with my dealer, I opted for quick and easy, and it was just that. Kyle asked for my keys and said he'd be back in about 5 minutes. I could have set a timer, it was that quick. He removed the old panel and discarded it and I was on my way within minutes. I could not be more pleased with the service I received, the kindness he showed and the lack of hassle about the repair itself. I only wish this branch of Caliber Collision was near to my house. I was very happy with every aspect of the work Caliber did for me. Significant front-end damage to…read moremy 3-week old car after someone carelessly turned left across traffic. Covered by the at fault driver's insurance, and every spot they recommended had mixed reviews, including this one. Having the need for a collision repair is never a happy time, I guess. Nevertheless, Caliber was close and mostly positive reviews. Kayla, the service advisor, was incredibly helpful and informative and texted us at least once a week with details. Unfortunately there were some hard-to-get parts involved so the car was in a lot longer than we had hoped, but Kayla did a terrific job of keeping us informed about where things stood. Caliber was very helpful with everything including getting the rental arranged and returned and dealing with the other driver's insurance company. Very professional, with a complete, detailed list of parts and labor used provided at the end. The quality of the work was excellent. I find no signs that the car has been repaired - it looks exactly like it did when I bought it. It's been a month and 1K miles since and nothing has turned up - no rattles, leaks, etc.
