I wasn't feeling particularly anxious, but I was told it was free, so I agreed. I was quickly given paperwork to sign, which I did willingly, though I should have taken more time to read it. What was not explained to me verbally was that this involved an injection in my neck. When I realized that, I froze but went along with it. After the injection, I was told the doctor is writing a paper on this procedure and was then asked whether it helped my anxiety, which immediately made me uncomfortable and made me feel like a test subject rather than a patient. Later, when reviewing the consent, I saw listed risks such as temporary phrenic nerve blockage and infection, risks that were never clearly explained beforehand. Instead, it was described very casually as "feeling like having a mimosa." When I called with concerns, the staff were kind and understanding, but I was told I would know if something went wrong because I'd have extreme difficulty breathing. I wish that risk had been communicated before the procedure, not AFTER. The staff were friendly overall and there were no complications, but the lack of transparency and how casually this was presented felt unethical to me as a patient. While I did sign the paperwork and take responsibility for that, clearer verbal communication and informed consent would have made a huge difference.

I adore him. Truly. He's kind and gentle. He knows how to put me at ease. I'm admittedly a big big baby when it comes to dental care but I trust him completely. He relates to fear and knows how to help. I have taken meds for years before dental visits but with him I'm able to go in without anything. I highly recommend him to anyone but especially for people like me with A LOT of dental anxiety. Sara is my hygienist. If you go in ask for her specifically. She was a dental assistant for two decades before she became a hygienist. She's super gentle and incredibly intelligent. She offers me new ideas and tricks when I come in. She remembers me and what we talked about last. She asks about my kids and talks freely about herself. I love that! It makes me feel like I matter to her even though I only see her twice a year! Lastly, the office manager, Tricia, is super sweet and knowledgeable. She's a patient of the practice as well and she knows everything about the practice. She's worked as a dental assistant in the back for years, in the front office, and as the person you talk with if you want to have any cosmetic or aesthetic done. She's Dr. Cha's right hand and I've come to truly enjoy chatting with her. She loves what she does and you can tell.

He said i needed to get all my wisdom teeth out and that would help, then said it was actually a debonded filling, then gun soreness. Please note I only went here due to it being close and me having car issues. He the starts poking the tooth, which made me horribly nauseous to the point I had to leave. I went to my regular dentist who shows me a picture of a completely broken tooth in my mouth where the pain was. They said they weren't sure how he missed it but now it's more broken and needs a crown. They are sending me random bills and still trying to schedule me for thousands worth of issues my regular dentist said arent necessary. Also worth noting if you look closely, most of the people who leave reviews for this place have no photos and it's their first review. Stay far far away.

A few X-rays and five minutes of Dr.Sherwoods time I was told my son needed the tooth pulled or a crown procedure,we could not afford go the crown through Dr. Sherwood so we left and I went another route. I called back a few days later to ask Dr.Sherwood a few questions after I looked more into this issue consulting people in the dental field about pulling the tooth or going with a crown and I was informed I might not get a extensive answer because of my one time payment of $250. I understand dental care is expensive, but when it comes to kids/teens and a parent who is willing to pay out of pocket to get help and answers it seems like my experience with Dr. Sherwood is he is more concerned with six $$$$$$ figures a year.
