I am writing this review in regards to the CranioSacral therapy I received from Corina. I was previously familiar with CranioSacral therapy (a gentle non-invasive bodywork that aims to balance the nervous system are free connective tissue restrictions in the body) and had seen other therapist in the past. But - WOW! Corina is really gifted with this type of work. After our first session, some physical/emotional blockages I had been carrying in my hips for years began to open up. After our first session, I would lay down in bed at night and my hips would involuntarily twitch as they tried to self-correct. I saw her a series of times after that, and I felt like huge progress was made on the issues with my low back and hips. I enjoy CranioSacral because rather than forcing the body to correct, it works with the body's own energy to start the process of self-correction. Corina is very intuitive with her work and a very gifted healer. I moved 1.5 hours away, and have not been to see her in months (though I am considering making the drive just for the session!). Still though, my hips continue to shift and move and self-correct. I also really appreciate how nice the front desk staff is. I had to cancel two appointments last minute because of morning sickness and they were very understanding. I cannot say enough good things about Corina. If you are looking for a non-invasive way to heal the physical and emotional body, I highly recommend CranioSacral Therapy, and especially Corina at Spring Hill Physical Therapy. read more

We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done for our son, Nick. You have all dramatically improved his quality of life! Before coming to Spring Hill Physical Therapy, our son had started with a different physical therapist. He arrived with stretched nerves in both legs, wasn't able to sit for more than 5 minutes and was unable to walk without a noticeable limp. During his first visit, the physical therapist failed to put any real thought into his situation and put him on a leg press machine. As a result, his nerves were further stretched and reversed 4 months of healing. For the following 8 months, he showed very little improvement. He was adamant that he didn't want anyone to touch him. He was unable to sit through dinner and spent most of his days laying down. He was starting college and had to signed-up for only online classes, since he was unable to sit for more than 5 minutes at a time. We were extremely concerned that he may never be able to hold down a job or complete college. We finally convinced our son to give PT another chance. Since he began treatments with you all, including cranial sacral massage, our son immediately began showing signs of tremendous progress. He is now able to eat dinner with us every night. He spends only a small portion of his day laying down. He is visiting friends again and helping at home. He even signed-up for regular college classes. With your compassionate and comprehensive care, he is now doing things that we weren't sure he'd ever be able to do again. Marion and Sherron, you said that you felt you could help him heal and you were absolutely right. With your compassion and expertise, you prepared his mind and body to accept the healing that it was capable of. We feel like our son is back and that he will now have a fulfilling life. I've seen several physical therapists here for various injuries and issues. Most are wonderful. I did have one negative experience with one therapist who worsened my injury on one occasion. I refused to see that therapist again and eventually healed with another therapist at Spring Hill. I would give five stars, but that one negative visit with a less-than-awesome PT prevents me from giving a 5 star review. I really love the integrative approach by this office. read more

this place drives me up a goddamn wall sometimes. The receptionists are not professional in their actions at all. I set up an appointment for the 15, I get called on the 5th, "u had an appointment today at 4:15". How come I didn't get a damn call the day before like I've been getting the last 4 times!??? She says: oh we sent u a text". I tell her I don't have texting and I've discussed this with u before... another thing I don't appreciate is that you get passed around from person to person each appointment so I have to explain my situation every time I go in! It's ridiculous, I would at least like to be told who I'm being set up with. I'm done with this place and not recommending them to anyone. The owner is great and their services are good, but the damn receptionists are just useless!! read more

I have been a patient here on and off for 3 years, returning due to an accident and then different issues that I have had. I've seen a few therapists at this clinic and had a great experience with each one. I appreciate that they have therapists with unique specialties that helped me with my separate issues. One of the things that impressed me the most was the care that each of the staff members showed to me. One therapist instilled hope in me after a debilitating accident. I had been to several other practitioners elsewhere and had been told it was chronic and I would probably experience it for the rest of my life. After getting this message over and over, I believed it. The therapist at Spring Hill told me I should not lose hope, that I should always believe I would get better. She gave me positive pep talks in each of my visits. I started to improve each time I saw her, a large part being that she believed in me and allowed me to believe in myself. At another time I was treated by the owner for headaches. My healing with her was also quite miraculous. One guy there always put humor into the visits so that they wouldn't be so painful, even though we were working so hard. The entire team there really seemed to work together and show me that they cared about me. I always recommend Spring Hill to anyone that is in pain - physical mixed with emotional, they helped me with both! read more

What a GREAT place!!!! I had a referral from my Sacramento neurologist for therapy balance therapy. I lucked out by meeting Sarah, one of their office staff, at Grass Valley Crossfit. My therapist, Andrea is the BEST!!!!! my balance improved so much my neurologist noticed almost immediately at my next follow up appointment. At one of my visits with I was having a difficult time moving due to my fibromyalgia. Andrea asked if anyone had ever recommended I have craniosacral therapy, no one has. She used the last 1/2 hour of our visit giving me a craniosacral therapy, WOW! I was a new person walking out of the office, it was amazing!!! I asked Dr. Amour (my neurologist) about it and he was all for giving me a referral to include the craniosacral therapy with my balance therapy. He said he has heard it is a wonderful treatment for fibromyalgia but he has not been able to find anyone to refer his patients to. He wishes he could do the therapy, but he only got 1 week of study on it in med school. He hasn't found anyone in the Sacramento area he can refer to!!! I saw a GREAT Physical therapist but she left abruptly after I began ... Did not schedule any additional appt as the new PT didn't have a schedule yet. I'm concerned as I was charged $50 for "no show-inadequate cancel" - funny thing... I never made any appt so how can I be charged? Tried to call the phone number that they listed on the invoice and the phone is no longer in service! Feeling like this is a bit of a scam! read more

I've been going here since October 2016. Very happy with my experience. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. My appointments have always been on time. Great magazines in the waiting area. Narayan, my physical therapist, has been totally the best. I get a combination of a few exercises to build on at home, and joint mobilization and joint manipulation done in the office. Nothing has ever been painful. I've been given plenty of time to ask my questions and get full, patient answers. My therapist is upbeat, understands my occasional backsliding, and has been the major part of making my frozen neck and shoulders mobile again. read more

Due to a serious accident many years ago, I have had many complicated surgeries by Orthopedic doctors. These surgeries were all followed up by physical therapy, which had varying degrees of pain relief and success. My last doctor then referred me to Spring Hill Physical Therapy in Grass Valley, CA. There, Marion, the owner and best therapist I've ever had took my case on and I gained true pain relief and flexibility - more than I have ever experienced from physical therapy. Before I found her, I was getting very discouraged. But after finding her I started to regain my life and I am very thankful for that! I will continue to refer others to and sing the praises of the office staff and the other physical therapists there as well. They offer the quality care and expertise that seems to help those of us who go to them. read more
