First went in for transmission advice and was told my 2005 explorer had a tired transmission and we could revisit it in the winter. The other day a check engine light came on so I again went in and was told that the oil change guys at Walmart had not reset it. They did a test and noticed some concerns recommended a tuneup which was under the price I googled and she's running beautifully. These guys are my new favorite mechanics. Anne b.

Way over charged me for simple front & rear seal replacement on 2004r transmission 700.00 . I…read morepicked it up before I got home the transmission was making a winding noise, I left car running pulled dip stick zero transmission fluid, I didn't notice it wet underneath so I bought 5 quarts poured into transmission called the owner when I returned the car I told him I believe whoever worked on the car forgot to put the fluid in it but he got attitude & he ask me how he can make it right I said reimburse the 35.00 for fluid he wouldn't even do that after all of the issues, I had to be in Daytona that someday so I just left, the Trans isn't shifting correctly it shifted perfectly when I took it in for simple seal replacement, I'm dropping the pan when I get back I believe it was rigged so they'd rip me off saying it needed work done on it. Regardless I'd never go back to that place and strongly advise people to take their vehicle elsewhere....the owner seems like a nice guy when you meet him it was my impression of him but he's a total ripoff. Beware, once I get home from my trip I'm going thru it, it doesn't feel like same transmission possibly was swapped out to get mine cuz mine was built & had special components.
