I have been going here since 2000. I have had one surgery by Dr. Cannon and 3 by Dr. Shah, so this…read morewill be primarily about Dr. Shah even though my experience with Dr. Cannon in 2001 was the same. I am amazed to see so many one star reviews but realize that people are going in with problems that are painful and not always 100% repairable. I have never experienced the staff issues with either Dr. Cannon or Dr. Shah's staffs. Dr. Cannon did my right shoulder in May of 2001 and I was back to original strength and flexibility as before my damage. In 2008, I had my left bicep detached at the forearm due to me thinking that I was much younger than my years playing volleyball. Dr. Shah re-attached it and the recovery was smooth and complete. In 2010, I tore my left medial meniscus in my knee while bowling. I went back to Dr. Shah and again the results were excellent. He advised me that I have a fair amount of arthritis in that knee so to be aware that there could be ongoing issues. We introduced a treatment of SyncVisc not long after surgery and I have not had any issues since. In 2012, I re-injured my right shoulder (old on the outside, young in the mind). This time to Dr. Shah. The recovery was long being in an abduction pillow, however, with excellent phyical therapy downstairs, I was back to 100% being able to do anything that I used to in time. I re-injured that right shoulder again 18 months ago while working overseas (fall in my apartment) and now finally getting the time to get at it. Today, from the time that I checked in until I saw the doctor was 8 minutes! When does that ever happen? I will get an MRI to check current level of damage but would not think of going anywhere else for my surgery.

I am writing to share a disappointing experience my parents had here. As long-time patients, my…read moreparents deserve expected better treatment. In the past years it was not this way and I will say, the physicians have always been kind and patient. No problems there. During a recent appointment, they were unexpectedly informed that they owed money for braces, which had already been paid for. This misinformation was not only confusing but also upsetting. Additionally, the staff's communication was unprofessional. They spoke to my father in a condescending manner, questioning his ability to pay despite his background as an eight three-year veteran. This approach was disrespectful and unnecessary. Our elderly community should be treated with dignity and respect. To make matters worse, my father has reached out to the office manager multiple times but has received no response. This lack of follow-up further undermines our confidence in this practice. He has worked hard, never paid a bill late, from a generation where your word is your bond. I would recommend exploring other options for orthopedic care. We have a fantastic medical center in The Woodlands that prioritizes compassion and respect for their patients. Unfortunately, this practice has not met those standards. ---

I like Gigi and Holistic a lot. They helped me tremendously through major shoulder surgery…read morerecovery. Gigi also did the kinesio taping, which really supported my shoulder well as it was getting stronger. I went to ten sessions, 7 at the old location on 249 and the last 3 at the new location. Her and her staff were fantastic. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because I do not care for the new location. It is VERY cramped and dark with no windows, like a dungeon, and the layout is quite strange. To get there you have to walk down a long, long hallway through another doctor's waiting room, then finally you get to the equipment way in the back by the emergency exit. I know she probably moved to this new office to save on rent, but it's a big step down from the bright, roomy clinic she had before. I would still return for PT with her, however.

I first met Dr. Siton in 2007 when she helped me to fully recover/rehabilitate from walking…read moredifficulties from CIDP; a severe autoimmune disorder. By the time I began treatment with Dr. Siton I had already completed extensive treatments at UCLA Med. Center and Physical Therapy. My prior care givers told me that nerve tissue does not regenerate and I likely wouldn't regain full strength. Dr. Siton clarified that although nerve tissue doesn't regenerate, the body has millions of other pathways that can replace damaged ones. She was right and I regained complete health. In 2011, I experienced what the best doctors in Houston and The Mayo Clinic in MN told me was a relapse of CIDP. My only treatment recommended was the use of pain killers. I then again sought help from Dr. Siton. After several months of therapy, proper nutrition, adequate water consumption and hard work, I regained my complete health and achieved the highest level of physical fitness in over 20 years. Dr. Siton is a straight talker and has a diverse educational and experience background that I believe enables her to quickly see the root cause of a patient's ailment(s) and shares her observations in real time. Finally, Dr. Siton and her Team at Holistic Physical Therapy (HPT) create a positive, safe and friendly environment to support healing and improvement. I recommend my family and friends to HPT whenever they may need such help.

I had never done the BodPod before but that was part of the body composition testing and it was pleasantly easy. I did wear a bathing suit, which wasn't exciting, but the actual testing only took a couple minutes, and the results came right out. We also discussed my nutrition intake and where my diet was and should be in order to compete. Because the location only opened this year, I don't think a lot of people know that this location has strength and conditioning and sports nutrition, on top of physical therapy and orthopedics. I had a friend that was referred here to get physical therapy to recover from an injury, and she really likes working with the physical therapists. They are the ones affiliated with the Ironman Texas in Galveston, and the ultra-distance Ironman event in the Woodlands so you see the Ironman signs all around the triathlon and marathon events, and they do packages for athletes, as well as runners, cyclist, and triathletes. They were really easy to work with and had availability that worked well for me.
