The tickets are often between 15-20 dollars but special deals are often available. The venue is pleasant enough with concession stands where you can buy all kinds of drinks, including beer, foods and snacks. Be prepared to bring some wipes for your seat if you attend a game shortly after the Farmshow in January due to dusty conditions.

The others wanted to go play with the balls, cones, or goals the kids in the other groups right next to them had access to. When the parents are making their kids participate and kids are whining because the structure is above the kids in that group, they should be able to adjust. I am sure some kiddos would do great but for 90% of the 2 years olds I know, it was way too much structure. He would have had a blast if they had access to cones, balls and goals the whole time and the coaches played with them and engaged in some skills that way.

As mentioned it has a covered pavillion with picnic tables, restrooms, water fountains, as well as a rollerskating rink, soccer & baseball fields nearby. It was run by volunteers that built community, and asked you to help support the process financially, but to a modest amount. There was one part-time employee. It was a sweet time, and you could see refs on the fields and people at sign up, and they pushed the schedules to you by physical mail. Now it is designed to support financially a full or paid part-time competitive team coach. The parents are more involved (and more loud at games, some will say rude, but I won't), and the adults who play are left to sort themselves out for the most part (and to sort out an awkward online system to find the games and fields), but the fees are higher. The tone has changed, and I think it is not for the better. But, we have more competition, and winning is what sport is about for most people, right? At least there are less playing so you get get to know the diehards, and the promised 7x7 or 9x9 games give you more playing time when they are mismanaged. Sigh. At least yelp listens. Also try, pick up games. they are the best value in these parts.
