Chet, the PA that saw me, was super professional and knowledgeable, and has a great name! :-) After feeling like I had a complete and useful visit, I looked at my watch and it was 35 minutes after my scheduled time! Note that on my last attempt to see an ENT (not here), it was more than 35 minutes before they even realized that I got tired of waiting and left. Oh, and very friendly staff in general. I watched one by one go in before me after waiting over an hour. There outdated IPad check in is ridiculous. The receptionists are dense and incompetent. They do not have answers to important questions. After speaking with me about my insurance they asked me to sit down. After 30 minutes I went back up to the window and asked her if she had the information she needs and she responded "yes". I said, okay were you going to tell me? Why wouldn't she communicate that to me? I would have been sitting there for a hour or longer if I didn't say something. Then some assistant with pink and blue hair (unprofessional) said to me there are only 2 doctors here. It's busy and you will have to wait. What the hell! What receptionists say that to a patient in a doctors office. I've never been treated this horrible way at any physicians establishment. Cecola was fine. I think it's time for him to retire. Oh and his office staff... especially the 2 young women who sit closet to his 'side' of the practice - RUDE! I was standing by the counter for at least a minute before I was acknowledged. You would think a minute isn't that long but when the women were gossiping to each other about personal matters even after one of them noticed me walk up to the counter but apparently decide to continue her gossiping and ignore me... a minute is too long. I finally said "excuse me... could I pay my bill now?"

Pretty unimpressed with the surgery I received in May of 2017. He performed a septo-rhinoplasty…read morethat was supposed to fix my deviated septum, improve my breathing, remove the hump from my bridge, and reduce the bulb at the tip of my nose. It's a year later (I was told it'd take that long for swelling to go down). The tip is the same as it was, except all of the nerve endings are dead, so there's no sensation there. My breathing is actually worse, he DID remove the hump from my bridge, but he basically moved it to the side of the bridge, so IDK what was going on there, and the septum is still very deviated. Unfortunately (or maybe very fortunately) I no longer live in NOLA, so I have no way of having him fix any of this without incurring greater expense. I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone.
