It was completely demoralizing and within 2 weeks of the immediate surgery I was referred to Ivy in Whippany by my surgeon's office. It did not take me long to build in Confidence with the entire staff. That includes all of the Therapists, support staff and Carla who handles admin from many angles. There process is very consistent and yet every therapist has their own style and approach. At first I had Justin as my primary therapist, but he was in the process of being transferred to a different location. My initial reaction was to follow him. However, after of couple of sessions with Bella, I decided to stay on at Ivy Whippany. Soon it did not matter which therapist I had for an appointment. Every exercise was diligently documented at each session and there was never a gap from session to session. In addition, getting a mix of appts with Bella, Michelle and Namrata allowed for a variety of style, tips and tweaks that made the sessions and outside motivation even higher. In addition, the energy level stays high at every session. Their attention to detail, skill and knowledge was extremely impressive. They had me on the golf playing full rounds 5 months from the accident and surgery! Tom J

I do not recommend this facility in Wayne NJ , especially for people of color…read more I had an appointment at Atlantic Health Rehabilitation in Wayne, New Jersey today 4/9/26 The office had recently moved, and it was very difficult to find the new location. As a result, I arrived approximately five minutes late. When I arrived, there was another patient at the front desk speaking with the receptionist and scheduling multiple appointments. I waited patiently for over five minutes while they finished, without or complaint. When it was my turn, and before the patient ahead of my the receptionist immediately told me I was late and refused to see me. I explained that I had difficulty finding the new address and had also been waiting for her to finish assisting the other patient. Despite this, she repeatedly stated that it did not matter and that it was "policy," without showing any flexibility or understanding. I tried to explain that the delay was beyond my control and that I had arrived around 10:05, just after the other patient. She still refused to see me and rescheduled me for April 16 without asking if that worked for me. I found the interaction very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. A five-minute delay--especially under these circumstances--should have been handled with more understanding, particularly since I am in pain and had recently visited a pain management office. Additionally, I felt that I was treated differently because I am Muslim, which made the experience even more upsetting. This experience was unacceptable. I would appreciate it if a supervisor could follow up with me and address this situation. Staff should receive proper training on professionalism, communication, and respectful treatment of all patients.

From my very first interaction with Pediatric Potentials, I knew they would be the right provider for us. The director of the practice responded to my inquiry within 24 hours, and even called me back after business hours to discuss our availability and figure out the best appt times. She worked around our hectic work schedules and paired us with Melissa. Working with Melissa has been nothing short of life changing! Our daughter immediately warmed to her, and our sessions were challenging, but always positive. I am so grateful that Melissa was able to create a supporting and fun environment for our daughter, while also pushing her physically to overcome her challenges. Melissa also provided counsel and advice for us on how to advocate for our daughter with our Orthopedist so we could get to the best outcome. After working with Melissa for five months, our little gal is up and walking and we couldn't be more grateful. Melissa and Pediatric Potentials were always professional, supportive, and flexible. I whole heartedly recommend them and their services for any parent or caregiver in need.
