The ladies who handle the phone are incredibly rude. I was a patient ther for a couple of months and when I was finally able to get back on the meds I needed I stopped going to therapy. I was not told that if I stopped that they wouldn't refill my script. On the phone INSTEAD of asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment they told me to call my primary and then hung up. Screw that. If they really weren't out for the money they wouldn't make me go to therapy and pay a $40 co pay on top of a $40 script. If they knew anything they'd know that there is a difference between a chemical imbalance - which has only been cured for me through medication (after 10 years of therapy) and not make me go and sit in silence for a script. I liked the therapist and the doctors. Their policies are ridiculous and inconvenient and the staff sucks. If they really cared about their patients they would have called me after they received the request for a script refill and not just tell me to go somewhere else. read more

I'll start by saying that my doctor was great! However, the administrative side caused me to leave and find another practice. I was charged $100 for a no call no show visit and I was waiting for the receptionist to send me the text to start the televisit. I called the receptionist who was rude and she told me that i should have called at 2:25. I told her I didn't know. She said well you probably missed your appt. And I did. But the next day the receptionist called me to reschedule, she got loud and rude again and said that i was a no call no show for the visit. I couldn't even speak to whoever makes that decision to waive the fee. Their office is terrible. Estelle Conn's basic incompetence will hold you hostage for days if not weeks when handling paperwork. Need to sign a PDF? Forget it! Need to do an intake as new patient? Call every single day until there's an opening, forever. No online portal for making appointments! I was double-charged for a single appointment. I should send to collections because my account says I owe -$50. NEGATIVE fifty dollars. They owe me $50 lol. They are terrible at money management. The quality of care ranges massively from highly competent, licensed therapists with degrees (great) to wannabe white night social workers (awful). Avoid Emily Seidle (social worker) at all costs; she is a walking, talking malpractice nightmare who will impose her beliefs on you, ready or not. Avoid Dr. Leah Greenwood, PhD; she will insist that you medicate yourself to get a formal diagnosis, which is not normal. Some employees still falsely believe that autism is synonymous with "mental retardation," which can only include being non-verbal, hitting oneself, and failing at school. This is NOT accurate against the current DSM-V and should not be tolerated in modern psychiatry practice. read more

I'm seeing another therapist this weekend just to discuss the trauma from one session with this "therapist" and my son. beware of this office and their guidance when it comes to someone meeting with your child. Very helpful. My psychologist is great. He has made a big difference in my life. The nurse practitioner was great, too, but she's leaving.

Let's just say their follow up is abysmal at best. They never called for follow up when they said they would. I had to keep calling for appointments. Then the individual handling the phone was absolutely rude. If you are truly in need of any psychological assistance this place is not the place to go. They'll just tell you to go elsewhere anyway. The worse system for just getting through as a new patient. I called initially and the person answered sounded surprised to receive a call about services claiming they were undergoing some changes with their system...fine. I left my information and my child's information to setup a new patient appointment and didn't get any call back or email. I tried again and the automated service direct new patients to call back during business hours (during business hours) because they are too busy and hangs up...this happens repeatedly. They I hear someone pick up and they are breathing but not responding, then they hang up. I tried calling another office, as my child picked this particular Therapist for herself, so giving them chance after chance to be professional. I get through! I ask about the process to setup a new patient appointment with this particular Therapist and the response was as if I propositioned the lady to do something untoward... She gave attitude as if it wasn't her job to answer questions or setup appointments. I hung up on her rather than saying how I felt after multiple weeks and calls. I don't know how the Therapist that work through this organization get paid, but if this is the process of setting up new patients...these Therapist are being stolen from. Insanely overpriced and they will completely screw you on your bills! I wasn't charged for over a month and now am being backcharged for all of my services. I was not aware of the absurd pricing (they charge insurance $515 for only a 60 minute talk therapy session which is 5x the state average for therapy WITHOUT insurance so after insurance I still owe $200 per session) until I had over a month of appointments already done. This pricing is NOWHERE on their website nor do they offer that information when you begin your sessions. I called to ask questions about it and was first hung up on by the representative because I told her she wasn't answering my questions. Absolutely VILE to charge this way for mental health services. I wish I could give this a 0 star. Springfield Psychological violated my informed consent rights by failing to notify me of an acruing balance on my account for 6 months (11/2020 to 4/2021), despite having a card on file to make payments, and then was unable to explain why these charges were put on my account whilst my clinicians were communicating to me that my account balance was 0. After 1.5 years of trying to get this resolved, I finally get a call the day after I post a Yelp review (go figure). The Revenue Cycle Manager, Robin Robsinson, first and foremost lied about her position in the company and tried to tell me that she is the director of the facility. She misrepresented her position in the company. She then accused me first of lying about what I reported, and said "multiple statements were provided" then back tracked after she looked it up and said the first statement was sent in 7/2021, but dates of service were for late 2020 and early 2021. She could not explain why this happened, and was unwilling to work with me on negotiating the balance down considering they were telling me account balance was $0 for 6 straight months. She didn't care that informed consent was violated, and I would still have to pay. If you are not willing to deal with psychological stress of large and unexpected as well as unexplained bills never use this facility. read more

My therapist and psychiatric nurse practitioner are the best I've ever dealt with. Unfortunately, the business's administration is sorely lacking. Very difficult to get a timely call back and very difficult to get necessary information without really being persistent and calling and calling until you get a live person. I have a simple pre-authorization issue going on currently, my insurance company told me what they're waiting on and, after 6 weeks, my insurance company is STILL waiting on the information. I understand that summer vacations and illnesses happen, but given the nature of this business, they should have procedures in place which provide coverage when folks are out. Again, I love my therapist and psychiatrist, but the practice could really do with better secretarial and administrative staff. read more

Literally the worst therapy session I've had in my entire life. Christine Fox is a psychopath, avoid her like the plague. She wouldn't let me talk and avoided and interupted my questions in our initial interview. She also refused to work with my FMLA regarding my workplace. Christine said that the anxiety was all in my head and I didn't need medication for it, nor should I be on medication. On top of all this, Christine has some serious hygiene issues that need to be addressed if she's going to continue to be a professional in this field. read more

Worst practice ever! It is impossible to communicate with the doctor directly and the medical secretary never answers the phone. You're stuck leaving a message with the promise of receiving a call back within 24 hours, which rarely happens. Forget it if you need a refill of medication on an emergency basis. They still don't get back to you. They either are too busy for the number of patients they have or they really just don't care. Will be looking elsewhere. read more

The one time I got through to someone I was told it was the line for emergencies only, even though that wasn't the button I pressed on the menu. I have been unable to get a human to respond to my many phone calls, messages and my case manager. They don't answer any of their extensions and I've been a client for six years and their customer service has gone from A+ to F - If they would at least hire an answering service to at the least answer and forward calls. Medication can only be renewed if one is attending regular counseling, which is great, but even the company does not react to questions from the counselors. What if there is an emergency and the ability to get to someone to help goes unanswered? The outcome could be devastating. Bottom line if you are looking for this type of service use an office or company that at least answers the phone. read more

The clinicians are great but that's where the good ends. Trying to get in touch seems nearly impossible. You call and get a recorded message which sends you to someone's voice mail. I have to say I'm shocked at all the one start reviews. I've been at Springfield psychological for about 7 years now. I have had 4 different therapists from their system and I've loved every one. The people I met with were very helpful, great listeners, and overall amazing therapists. I wish I could rate this place lower for making the most stressful time in my life even more stressful and unpleasant. They should be embarrassed. I was booked for an appointment for a service I didn't need or want when I clearly told intake what I was looking for. When I "missed" my telehealth appointment (I was on the phone with them at the scheduled time) they charged me $60. I was not told that the service I was looking for was not even being offered. Everytime, I have to deal with the secretary, I cringe, because she is rude and ignorant. Today was no exception. The Psychiatrist, by accident put in a refill for the wrong medication for my 11 year old son, during his visit the other day and I left a message on her voicemail. When I called today to confirm if she received my message, instead of just telling me simply yes, she told me to call the pharmacy to find out if the they got the new script in a demanding, scolding, unprofessional tone. Since I happen to be at the pharmacy for something else, I physically went and talked to someone at the pharmacy and they checked their system and didn't see the script. I wasn't upset and relayed the information back to the secretary's voicemail. She called me back and accused me in her rude tone of not following her directions, "If I followed her directions and called the pharmacy at such location, I would have found out that the script was filled". I calmly explained to her that I physically went to said location and personally spoke to someone and they checked their computer system and saw nothing. How was that not following her directions? Also, everytime I have to make an appointment for my 11 year old son, she never is accommodating to his schedule with school. I can't keep taking him out of school early. I just don't understand how a rude, obnoxious woman still works for this office. As soon as I find another place for my son to go get his mental needs met, believe me, we are leaving this practice. I've been trying to set a first appt for over a month. On hold each time over hour each time I called until I hung up. Then I had an idea to call and requested to talk to billing and, of course, the call got picked up immediately. lol. So I was told to go online to set up account. Did so but wasnt easy. What if a person doesn't have internet access? Anyway, after setting up account there is no where I can find on site to set up an appointment. At that point I gave up. From what I hear, the Drs and therapists are good but the process and administration is the worst I've ever experienced in any medical capacity. Springfield Psychological is absolutely horrendous!!!!! Do not go here!!! They don't care about us!!! I've been a client here for about a year and about a month ago I was prescribed anxiety meds by one of their psychiatrists. Those meds made me very depressed and one day about two weeks ago I had a huge break down consisting of many suicidal thoughts. I immediately called Springfield Psych, got no answer and left a message asking to speak to any psychiatrist ASAP. As my day went on and I had more and more of these intrusive thoughts, I called again and asked to speak with someone AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I then called again and repeated myself, gave my name, birthday, number, everything. It's now been over two weeks and I have yet to receive a call back. read more

In July 2022 my Dr ( who I have been with for over 7 years) informed me she would no longer be practicing in her Marlton NJ office. She would continue my Medication Mangement at THIS office. It is now September 15 2022 and I have not been able to contact the office. 3 times I was transferred for intake and my call was dropped. I repeatedly call the office for 33 days. No one picked up or the answer machine was not working. Finally today I was able to speak to someone to refill my medication bc I RAN OUT!! I finalized intake paided my $30 Copay. They NEVER contacted the pharmacy. I am on day 3 of no medication!! I seriously do not know what to do!! read more

If you are good, you're booked for 3-5 months. This place is literally the bottom of the barrier. You have hit a career all-time low if you are working at this place. I use to go to Internet Behavioral Health but then they got bought out by this business and I must say, my experience has been god awful. Springfield Psychological has no empathy for their patients. They only care about $$$$$. I recently had an appointment but I couldn't attend it because I was in bed sick with Covid-19. They didn't care they're still going to charge me an outrageous fee of $125.00! For what? A freaking 15 minute telahealth conference?! What a joke. To top it off I have to reschedule now and getting hold of a human being is like pulling teeth. Not to mention I still need a refill on my prescription and that's a joy itself....I'm already looking into a new place as we speak. If there was a ZERO that's what I would rate this substandard person, Thomas Koste, who was filling in for our sons regular psyche nurse. They had a zoom call yesterday. Our son has special needs since age 3 including ASD. He has been stable for years on the cocktail he currently takes. He's attending college, has a job and a therapist. There has been an error somewhere between springfield Psychological (one of the nurses), the pharmacy and the insurance company. The pharmacy where's he's been for 17 years is cooperating with our attempt to find the error. It's possible he was overprescribed. Koste used the session to bully my son and repeated the word "noncomplaint" about 30 times no exaggeration. The pharmacist apologized as she was filling in and was not familiar with my sons case. For Koste to bully, berate and humiliate anyone let alone a young person with special needs is unacceptable!! We have been unsuccessful contacting Springfield Psychological but our plan is to lodge a complaint, and then we will contact the PA Nursing Board to flag his license. Run if you see the name Thomas Koste. If there is an electronic reply below this it will say all you need to know. read more

This place came highly recommended by my son's school. However, Vanessa Arce would never return my calls to schedule an initial conversation with a therapist. I would like to be able to comment on the level of treatment, however I couldn't get anything scheduled. It is upsetting because a result my son's treatment was delayed. read more

You billed my credit card for another adult patient who didn't have an appointment, This is a violation of HIPAA laws. You have to inform your patient if there is any discrepancies with billing issues. You can not just bill a credit card you have on file which belongs to someone other than the patient and has no billing agreement with your medical practice. You commited credit card fraud and violated the patient rights. read more

Updated review -- Though I am not going to change the star rating I will update my review. After a month I happened to be picking up forms for my son, and I realized I received a note from the office manager on my review. I stopped in and she was there and "happy" to meet with me. I gave her the details of what had happened and she listened attentively. At the end of the meeting I felt she had a better understanding of my review, and I told her I was impressed with her level of customer service as it is quite rare in healthcare. Though I have moved on with another provider my hope is that this is a learning lesson. As a patient there since 2014 it was important to present the whole picture as well as evaluate whether the rest of my family remained. For now my family will remain. I can only hope this practitioner who is usually measured will reflect on how she spoke to me. If you cannot find medication management this office does provide it. I recommend you participate in the medication decisions and do a ton of research. read more
