DO NOT HOST YOUR EVENT HERE IF YOU WANT PARKING FOR YOUR GUESTS!!!!! I hosted an event here in May and there was absolutely no parking. They had 4 other rooms booked at the same time and no communication that parking was going to be an issue or a plan in place where to park. I have sent multiple emails to receive a reply 5 days later telling me that the parking lot is a municipal lot for Springfield Township and that spots cannot be reserved. No accountability for the problem. I had to ask for table clothes to be changed because they were dirty, my buffet had small plates "because that is all that was left" The bathrooms were visibly dirty and had no toilet paper. Even their staff were complaining that things were overbooked and not the correct way. The cost of there services vs the quality provided is disappointing and falls short of expectations. Look elsewhere to host your next event if you want It to run smoothly. Also the google review I wrote 4 weeks ago is now gone and missing off the reviews section.. not a great way to run your business. read more

I used to love booking and attending events here. I'm not sure what's going on but the last couple months the service and food have been absolutely horrendous. Food has been soggy and gross. Tablecloths dirty, bathrooms have no toilet paper and trashcans are filled, air isn't on. I don't know what's happening. Even workers were saying it has been off. It seems like the halls are being overbooked and the demand on the county club staff is too high. Jsut disappointing as a customer because this is so close and used to be such a wonderful place to meet. read more

Just had our Corvette Christmas lunch here. Excellent service, great food. A special shout out to Brian Clark and his daughter, Ellie. Both delivered excellent customer care. Brian found me wondering around trying to find the bar. He stopped what he was doing and walked me to the bar and made sure that the bartender took care of me quickly. STOP USING STICKY TRAPS TO KILL MICE. I was here to eat with my parents yesterday. There was a mouse in the area that is like covered outdoor seating. I don't know how else to describe it. Someone told the staff that there was a mouse running around so I guess they had either another staff member or pest control just happened to be on hand. Now, I completely understand the need for removal of rodents near food-service areas and I am not contesting that. What I am upset by is the fact that a sticky trap was used to catch the mouse, and they did catch the mouse on a sticky trap right next to our table. We saw everything. A sticky trap is a horrendous way for a mouse to die. They essentially starve to death, sometimes they chew their own limbs to get away. There are significantly more humane ways to remove a rodent. If you must kill a mouse then use the live traps or the snap traps. At the very least, don't use the method that absolutely prolongs their suffering as much as possible. I'd have been much less upset if they had used a snap trap, because then at least the mouse's suffering is short. It isn't like live traps don't exist. We owe it to animals to act ethically. Some people may think this is silly and argue that "it's about the safety of the food being served". If you are serving food on a golf course where the mice are absolutely likely to exist, you know that you will encounter this issue inevitably. So you should have better solutions on hand. Other places have been using live traps for years. Also it is not true that you can't remove mice from sticky traps, contrary to the man who caught the mouse's answer to me when I asked if he was going to relocate it. Quick Google on multiple sources show that olive oil can be used to cancel the adhesive. I'd have gladly asked for the mouse and freed it elsewhere myself (away from the golf course, obviously) had I known this while I was witnessing this horrible scene. Someone might argue "it'll just come back". Yes of course it will. And if it isn't that mouse, it'll be another one. You're the one serving food directly on its natural habitat. A horrible death by sticky trap for one mouse is not going to take care of your mouse problem. I was so upset by thinking about that poor mouse and how long it would take to die and what kind of suffering it would experience. I cried for a few minutes in the bathroom. Even my father was disturbed by the scene and didn't finish his food. Please use ANYTHING but sticky traps to catch mice. read more

I held a memorial luncheon for my husband and it turned out great. Grace helped me plan everything. Other places I called required a minimum of 50 people and since I wasn't sure there would be that many people, Springfield Country Club allowed me to plan for 40 minimum and add additional people before the luncheon as well as pay for the additions at the luncheon itself. The wait staff was excellent -- courteous, friendly and professional. The ravioli & chicken Francaise were delicious, and portions were far more than I expected. I held a bridal shower for my daughter at the Springfield Country Club in July 2024 and it was awesome. I arranged the event with Anna Evan's and she was exceptional in terms of the back and forth to arrange the event. Although she was not there during the event time the staff that tended to the affair was very attentive, polite and professional. The food was served on time. The atmosphere was very nice. They allowed us enough tables for the things we needed. They allowed us to do a flower bar where we brought in buckets of fresh flowers for the guest to make their own flower bouquets as an activity and party favor. My daughter was overjoyed. read more

Worst management of the tee times. Has been forever. Called 2 weeks prior to Fathers day for a tee time. Agreed to 9:48 time and provided requested info. 6 days later received a call telling me our time cancelled because their call taker made a mistake. Advised to go to web site at midnight 1 week in advance to reserve again. Tried that at stroke of midnight. Unable to get on for 3 minutes then all tee times until after 1pm booked. Of course all other courses allow booking 2 weeks in advance and are all now booked and we are screwed. THEIR website tells you to call. Find somewhere else that gives a damn read more

Attended an event on November 6th, 2022. It was dinner and a show with an oldies singing group. The event itself was great however, the venue? Springfield Country club? Absolutely a horrible experience. The food was luke warm at best, coffee (when made available) was cold too. Begged for coffee all day and then would have to stand there waiting for milk ect. There were several hundred people in attendance and when it came time to eat? no tables were called..instead it was a free for all everyone getting up together to stand in lines that wrapped around the whole venue room. The bathrooms were not clean or being checked on at all. They didnt mind charging steep prices for the alcohol but that was the only thing they seemed to care about. There is another function in Feb but because it is being held at the Springfield country club, we will not attend. read more

The lovely wife and I belong to an organization that holds its annual luncheon here almost every year. I've been here many times. We're talking a plated lunch for around 50 or 60 folks. You know the deal. You get a choice of chicken, fish or a vegetarian plate. Over the years the quality of the food has varied. It's been back and forth between two and three stars. I'm sad to say mostly two stars. The wait staff has always been fine. For this type of meal this is a two star place. read more

I visited Springfield Country Club from across the country to play 9 holes with my best friend. I spoke to someone in the pro shop and the said they had decent rental clubs before arriving. The clubs appeared to be of substandard quality, akin to those found at a garage sale for 5 dollars, with worn-out grips and in overall poor condition, with a golf bag of the gentleman who had the garage sale "Pat Sheenhan." Due to the unsatisfactory condition of the clubs, I was compelled to use a fellow player's equipment, as mine were practically unusable. Subsequently, when I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, the response I received was disappointing. The staff member I spoke with offered only a perfunctory apology and stated that there was nothing that could be done to rectify the situation. Overall, my experience with the rental equipment at Springfield Country Club was below par, and the lack of response or effort to address the issue by the staff was particularly disheartening. As a customer looking for a positive and enjoyable golfing experience, I was left disappointed and frustrated by the inadequate condition of the rental clubs and the indifferent customer service received." read more

Beautifully decorated, lovely furniture, grand entrance, so much to name..gorgeous!! We had the usage of their large kitchen and couple of their staff. We got married on November 4th and had our ceremony/reception there! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! everything was awesome! Great staff as well! Dennis was our wedding coordinator and he did everything in his power to make sure I had a beautiful day! Anna was also an extremely big help with answering questions/ making me feel less stressed about everything. Milton was another wedding coordinator who stayed with us the entire time of our wedding day. He was so sweet, trustworthy & attentive to our needs. Attended a weeding here recently. Overall, I thought the food and atmosphere was very nice. It's a big place. We had a party of 300 and it could have seated double that I think in the big room. The dance floor is huge. The food was pretty good - normal wedding food. The chicken with shrimp and crab was tasty but a little strange too. The salad was drenched in dressing but was fresh. The service felt very rushed and they came to serve coffee and we had no cups. They came back 15 minutes later and poured coffee but we had no condiments. At the end of the day it still is a nice place and I wouldn't tell someone not to consider them. read more

We had reservations for brunch with Santa and it was ok..... I mean they could have done a little bit better with the Santa since the price was about $50 a person. (I just don't like the whole fake beard when it's 2018..) the food was typical and the experience was just not what I expected. I've been here before and I thought I had remembered it being good. However, we hosted a luncheon here recently and I was not impressed. First, salads came out and they were pretty bad. I did not enjoy the dressing they had on it and the type of lettuce was crap. I had like two bites. Next, our entrees took pretty long to come out and mine was not good. I got the london broil, while it was edible, it was very chewy and fatty. Not really my forte. I feel that at the price per head of this place, the quality of food should be a lot better. The meal was a 2 star meal, but i'll give them 3 stars for the following reasons: - I remember it being better in the past - Ice Cream for dessert was good (although it's kinda hard to mess up ice cream) - open bar was decent - service people were friendly Despite all the negative, the general atmosphere/experience was good. However, I cannot imagine anyone actually wanting to have their wedding at this place unless it is somehow a lot nicer for weddings. read more

We had a perfect wedding day at Springfield Country Club in March 2023. We were originally scheduled to have our cocktail hour and reception there in May 2020, but that was postponed due to the pandemic. Dennis from Springfield CC stuck with us the entire time, honored our original contract, and made sure our reception was perfect when the day finally came, three years later. The experience that Dennis has planning weddings far exceeds almost anyone else in the industry (in comparison to the 15+ venues we had viewed prior to Springfield CC). The day of, that experience shone through - we did not have to do anything (e.g., help set up or break down decorations) and could truly just enjoy our night. Our matre de Milton was so unbelievably helpful, driving us out to the golf course to take evening photos, providing us a tray of personal hors deourves, and making sure we had drinks the entire night. The cocktail hour space and golf view ballroom were beautiful, newly renovated spaces that had a lot of natural light and overlooked the golf course. Cocktail hour was extravagant, with more food than we could imagine (and delicious as well!). When it came to the reception, the service was flawless, entrees were delicious (and large portions!), and the night was beautiful. We are so grateful to have gotten married at Springfield, with both Dennis and Milton making our night perfect. read more

So this review is for the golf course only. My friends and I came out here on a cold day, jan 17, nobody was really there at all, probably for the better, it snowed on us during our round! To me the course isn't thrilling except a few very interesting holes. The conditioning was decent, fairways were clearly defined, the rough was short and wasn't penal, typical for winter though, summer will be a different deal I'm sure. Greens played about normal for this time of the year, 8.5 on the stimp. Bunkers weren't maintained but it's winter, I don't expect them to be. Overall it was a decent course, 40$ to walk at this time of the year is a little strong but it is what it is. Like I said, it did begin to snow durning our round (so the review really only stands for the front) and they told us to play on, so we did! They day ended up being a huge hit because of that and one I wont ever forget! read more

Don't play here. The grass/conditions at this course are awful. Wish I checked here first. They didn't warn of lousy conditions. It was a little cheaper (50) but costs to quality would be around 30$ for round with cart. And maybe even that I still wouldn't play here. Fairways were atrocious and greens were just okay for the most part. Rough...im not even sure if they cut it. It's cut inconsistent for sure. Sometimes its what you'd expect from the rough other times its just overly thick...even right around greens. Most sandtraps were more like water traps. My round was 5/18. Maybe next year ill give the course a shot, I'm don't with it this year and wont go back. I'd recommend spending the extra money and goto Paxon...its way better. Also staff here has never been too great in the past. read more

Golfed here for the first time. I really liked the layout, it was well maintained and the holes were pretty challenging but not too easy. I think it was like $45 bucks or somewhere in there. I cant really agree with the other review. I'm not shopping for cupcakes, a vacation or a hair cut at Great Clips so I can live without a Groupon or a Living Social deal. For the money the course was great. I can live with that price for what I get. read more

Great setting and outdoor dining option

Our organization recently had our annual summer get together here. It was a rousing success. We didn't have music and dancing or entertainment other than a small program that we ran. So the fact that it went so well is entirely due to the location, the food and drink, and the staff. People are still raving about the food. Fantastic hors d'oeuvres, excellent dinner (filet and crab cakes). Dessert was a deep chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. My planning partner was really skeptical about the dessert, she thought there was no way they could serve 75 of these and not have half of them with melted ice cream by the time they got to the tables. But they did it! All of the ice cream was solid when presented! Staff was first rate, from working with Dennis in the weeks before the event, to all of the people working the event that night. Facility and parking are excellent. I am still getting compliments on the event and people urging me to have the event at Springfield CC again at some time in the future. And for those of you who are planning an event, the price was very reasonable for what was received. I've been doing this event for years, so I have a pretty good handle on cost vs value received. The events coordinator is extremely difficult to work with. She does the bare minimum and is not a good communicator. I've had to interact with them only for work events but I would never plan a personal event there because every time you try to contact her, she is unavailable, doesn't respond to e-mails or voice mails and acts like you are bothering her when you finally do get in touch with her. I would be a nervous wreck if I was having something like my wedding or a shower there. read more
