(From November 2025) I did a stay at this hotel for a few days during the panthers/saints game. I should've read the reviews first before staying here and I regret not doing so as I would've been more informed about the issues plaguing this hotel. Starting with the interior of the hotel, the wallpaper in the hallways and in the room are peeling/fading giving a very cheap look. The showers had issues with getting hot water. Furniture had stains or piercings within the fabric. Plus the hotel is right off the highway with nothing within walking distance to it. Not pleasant at all. The bed was alright and their workout room had working machines. Those are about the only good things to say for this place. The only reason I stayed was due to hotel points. Next time, I'll use more points and stay somewhere else. read more

If you stay at this hotel, and you have zero expectations, you would still be disappointed! What a dump! The hotel staff was rude! Not so much as a please, thank you, or I'm sorry for any of the inconvenience or condition of the room. The room was disgusting and I could barely get in and out my door and when I asked the gentleman at the desk for assistance, he said if your card flashes green, it works you just have to push on the handle. I could not get my door open! My room was not serviced as requested, and when I called the front desk, they told me I could come and get towels without apology. I have held status with Marriott for a long time and it seems most of their hotels are in a state of decline. While other hotels, even the Holiday Inn, offer daily service you can't get service every other day as guaranteed. There are many other options in the area look for a Holiday Inn express or a Hampton and you'll likely do much better ! read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Stayed here for a business trip and as I was going to bed I looked up and saw black mold on the wallpaper above the bed. I complained and got a new room. When I was leaving in the morning, another customer was leaving the room that half the mold on it. Unbelievable that they knowingly rented a room with black mold. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times using the "Park and Fly" package. Since our last stay they have downsized the shuttle van to accommodate only 5 passengers which resulted in no space available for our desired departure for our flight. Not a deal breaker, we departed for the airport earlier in the morning. Our driver on the way to the airport was pleasant and punctual. Upon our return the shuttle was elusive! We called the first time at 8:59 pm and confirmed with the male answering the phone that yes we were actually in zone 1 and he hung up. We waited 30 minutes before we called again and we were rudely informed the driver had already made 3 trips there to pick up other hotel patrons and we should have seen him. He accused us of being at the wrong location when we were at the clearly labeled zone 1 "Hotel Shuttle" location and had seen numerous hotels pick up their patrons in a timely fashion. We had 3 adults eagerly awaiting the shuttle arrival and none of us saw a Springhill Suites van. He hung up with no reassurance that he would head our way soon. Wrongly, we assumed the van would be dispatched with this second call. We waited another 20+ minutes and called back and spoke with a pleasant lady who told us the van would be there in 5 minutes. It is an 8 minute drive from the hotel, but the van showed up and showed out when he arrived about 10 minutes later. He laid down on the horn as he approached the hotel pick-up area and proceeded well past the hotel shuttle area with available spaces and pulled over beyond the offsite shuttle sign. It was pretty obvious that he was not happy to be picking us up. Despite his hostile demeanor, we thanked him for being there. He apologized for the wait and said it was because he had a drop-off on the other side of Charlotte. If you try to connect all the dots, someone was less than honest with us, either about the 3 trips there or the drop-off on the other side of Charlotte. If the shuttle had a prior drop-off engagement and the wait time for pick up was going to be extended, that should have been communicated to us so we could arrange more timely transportation home. We have multiple options in the many hotels that provide a free airport shuttle and parking. We also became very familiar with multiple brands picking up their guests in a timely fashion with space to accommodate more than one party. Every single one of these hotels seemed to be a much better choice than the one I booked. My adult daughter went in to talk with the front desk staff and was told to "write a review. " This will not be the hotel for our next flight! read more

This was a nice, clean and spacious room. They provide a free shuttle service to the airport. They offered breakfast, but I wasn't able to experience it since I had to leave so early. I gave it 4 stars only bc I wasn't a fan of the AC at night. FYI this is a no cash hotel (meaning they don't accept cash for anything). read more

Definitely read the reviews and stay somewhere else. We were in town for a large concert. At check-in, our reservation/confirmation had two names listed so we were unable to check in promptly even after completing an online check-in. For this stay we were using points, therefore our room rate was only $50. Due to the check-in issue, our reservation was cancelled and re-booked at the front desk. We were charged the full amount for the room. This was not communicated with us and we were not aware until we saw the charges on our card. The folio arrived a day after our check-out. While our room was descent, friends who were traveling with us had a large roach in their room. Overnight, there were several vehicle break-ins, including busted windows in vehicles. Fortunately, our vehicle was spared. It is convenient to note that the cameras in the parking area are not working. Really, just spare yourself a hassle and pick somewhere else. read more

I checked into the hotel on a Friday night and plan to check out on Sunday. When we arrived (3 of us with 3 reservations) the young lady behind the desk announced that the elevator was not working so we would have to take the stairs. She also had no idea when the elevator would be fixed. She then assigned us all rooms on the 4th floor. She did not offer any type of discount or even an apology. I had to go up and down the stairs 4 times that night just to bring my things to my room. The next morning I went down and asked to speak to a manager and the young man behind the counter with an attitude pointed to the general manager on site. When I asked what could be done to rectify the situation instead of offering a discount he said "Well we sent everyone an email two days ago letting you know the elevators didn't work. This was a BOLD FACE LIE. I am here with a group of 8 and all 8 of us have our own reservations. NO ONE got an email about the elevators being out. So the GM is a liar. I also know that people on the 2nd floor had money taken off their rooms last night which was also not offered to us. The room itself is not horrible but don't think you'll be able to use the blackout blinds because they look like someone's cat had a field day with them. See pic attached. Like any other SpringHill Suites hotel that we had been to across the country. Comfy, clean and perfect for any duration of a stay. The parking lot was huge when we pulled in late at night, but packed with cars. The people working here were relatively friendly, especially the female that checked us in. The double-bed bedroom that we had was clean and big, with a couch, small refrigerator, microwave and office table. There were no issues with the room at all. As for the complimentary breakfast, everything we were hoping for was served - scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fruits, yogurt, bagels, muffins, cereal, milk, juices (apple, cranberry, orange), and coffees and teas. On weekdays, the breakfast hours are 6-9am and, for weekends, 6:30-10am. On the Tuesday that we stayed over, the breakfast area was quite crowded, but we attributed it to the fact that it was a holiday week. Another positive SpringHill Suites experience that will keep us coming back to Marriotts. read more

Where do I begin?  Made a reservation with AirportParkingReservations.com to park my truck for 4 nights at the SpringHill Suites Charlotte - 3055 Scott Futrell Drive. I park my truck in a corner spot, in front of the hotel, under a light. This is mid day on Monday. I get a call mid day on Tuesday that my truck had been broken into. They left me a voicemail. The message said they put a bag over the window and indiicated they would pay to repair my truck. Ended up being about $675 dollars to replace the window. And over $1000 in property was stolen from the truck. I just called them back and they basically told me to pound sand.  If you ever need a place to stay in Charlotte, stay away from this hotel. My truck didn't make it one night without being broken into and pillaged. And the hotel will do nothing. So now I get to file with my insurance and my rates will go up. Because I picked the wrong place to park my truck. I wouldn't park a car there, I wouldn't stay there. I wouldn't feel safe anywhere near there.  On to airportparkingreservations.com. After the break in, I had the truck picked up and driven home Tuesday night. It had already been broken into. I wasn't going to leave it there. Not only have they not refunded my money, they haven't even responded. I cannot find a phone number for them. I have emailed them 3 times over the course of a few weeks. Nothing. So I paid for parking I didn't even use, adding insult to injury.  My advice, avoid Springhill Suites near the Charlotte Airport and do not use airportparkingreservations.com at any airport. The room was The swimming pool has barbs of some sort sticking out of the bottom in the deep end, that ripped my foot open. Booked three double rooms four months in advance. Showed up and they told me they only had two rooms with one bed in each room. They provided a shuttle to another hotel but made me pay for it. I stayed here while visiting family. the elevator was broken the entire time, which meant that we had to walk up and down the stairs to the third floor for the entire stay. The iron didn't work. Evwet light had to be turned on to be able to see in the room. Housekeeping knocked on the door around 9. While i was walking to the door, they used the key to enter the room. Checked into hotel was very easy. Very nice place and bed were super clean as well as bathroom and floor. However it seems that the countertops and bedside tables had some sort of pink stains that were probably made by small kids. As well as the fridge had purple stains like by a Gatorade or purple drink. The coffee and small ice chest were dirty aswell. It seems that they forgot to wipe down in the end. I am writing this review about the SpringHill located at 2223 Cascade Point Blvd. (SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte Airport Lake Pointe). It was built in 2020. This place is really nice, clean and modern. I read in some reviews that people said the TV was in an awkward place. Not sure they understand it is on an articulating wall mount so you can pull it out and turn it to view in bed or on the couch. There is a small closet with lots of shelves, the bathroom was clean there is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, a desk lots of USB ports and a small 2 drawer bureau. Last but not least. You know those annoying drapes that never close? This place has a horizontal shade that draws up and down. No peek-a-boo light coming through. Bravo! No complaints here. They also have mobile check-in and mobile key so skip the front desk and go right to your room! read more

I made a reservation at this hotel because I have stayed here a couple of years ago. Check-in was ok. The person working the desk was nice enough but seemed as though she was a bit bothered. She notified me that she only had a double on the first floor and any of the other doubles were handicapped and on the higher floors. I told her I was ok with the first floor. I went to go check out the room. As soon as I opened the door, I noticed the couch and the huge wet-looking stain on it. I tried turning on the lights to get so i could get a better view of things. Then I noticed a white crust on the arm of the couch. (I told my daughter not to touch a thing. ) Then I proceeded to the bathroom and there was a noticeable urine smell. I turned around and went back to the front desk. By now I know the person working the front desk was a little annoyed by me. I asked to see the handicapped room on the upper floor ( I am trying to give this place a chance) I went upstairs, opened the door, and was hit in the face with a very must smell and a thick layer of dust on the desk and couch. The bathroom didn't smell like the first one but it did have a smell of mildew. I proceeded to go back downstairs ask for a refund. I was informed I would not be charged and she apologized for the state of the rooms. I left and went on a journey to find a new place for the night not before leaving the parking lot seeing the start of a fight in the parking lot between family members. Marriott/Bonvoy definitely is a chain that has gone downhill. I will not return to this hotel or any others in this chain. I wanted to give a HUGE shoutout and heartfelt thank-you to the staff of SpringHill Suites. The hotel had to shut down their shuttle service to and from the airport due to COVID-19 risks, but the GM/ASM/and clerk staff readily set me up with other accommodations in order to get to and from the airport. I work for a major airline, and a big reason I chose this hotel was the complimentary shuttle service. Generally when I travel to Charlotte, I use Hilton, but this experience has solidified my loyalty to Marriott. Thank you so much for helping me out despite this crisis! I've been checked in for less than an hour, and I'm grateful my stay is short. My first room had odd, still-wet stains on the couch and pen scribbles all over the couch pillows (see photos). The 2 stars I gave instead of 1 Star is only because the front desk staff person was incredibly sweet, professional, and quickly changed my room. However, my second room is disappointing as well. A cushion is completely missing from the couch, and the TV has 2 black lines on it (see photo). The TV is also positioned in a way that in order to see it from the bed, I had to not only turn it on it's pedestal but also rotate the whole TV stand (because the pedestal is bolted to the stand). I've stayed in many SpringHill locations that meet and exceed my expectations. This one is well below my expectations, and I do not recommend it. read more

If you are a regular traveler, you probably will not find this hotel up to par. Generally felt dirty, stained carpets, terrible setup to watch tv, and furniture that is ripped and old. Price was $139. Stayed in a king suite and felt like I didn't get my money's worth. Front desk staff was great, LOTS of HD channels on the tv and convenient to the airport. Marriot, you better send corporate to this hotel immediately. We booked 4 rooms in advance, requesting 1 handicapped/mobility room. On arrival day I called and the front desk assured me the mobility double was ready. We arrived at the front desk - NO MOBILTY DOUBLE. Front desk rudely said it was a REQUEST, not guaranteed. I could not even look at my 78 year old father who is in a wheelchair and on oxygen, because I was so ashamed and heartbroken that I failed him by choosing this hotel. It was late, so we took the rooms they gave us. We noticed the elevator was filthy, but we were shocked to open our door to a green couch covered in huge brown stains. The room smelled nasty. By this time we were not shocked to discover there was no hot water. We suffered thru it so Dad wouldn't have to go back out in the cold. Please do not stay at this hotel, that's all I can say. read more

The lobby is updated and they have free breakfast. There is a decent gym (though I did not visit this trip), and the rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. The rooms have a very odd design, but it is fine for the purpose of my work trips. The thing that makes me like SpringHill more than other hotels I have stayed at in the area, is it's shuttle service. I regularly have to wait 45 minutes for a shuttle to the hotel, and at SpringHill, they were there in less than 20 minutes every time. Sometime they were there in 10. Considering the fact that I am not spending a lot of time in the hotel, SpringHill is very worth the stay for the breakfast and shuttle alone. read more

I'm generally a fan of Spring Hill Suites, usually clean, bright and comfortable. I booked into this one and would not recommend it, unless you are staying only on a Sunday night. The website stated it was newly renovated. I'm not sure what, if any, of the hotel had been renovated, but my room didn't feel newly renovated. In fact, the desk chair looked like it had been in use for at least 5 years. The room smelled of disinfectant. I couldn't find utensils and went down to the front desk, where I was quizzed as to where I'd looked. The elevators felt sketchy and made strange sounds. But the real highlight of my stay was 4 am Sunday morning when I was awakened by 3 gunshots, followed by a spray of gunshots, and then several more. Then a car squealed into the hotel parking lot and a carful of people got out and began screaming at each other and using obscenities at top volume. They were parked as if to check in and stayed out there screaming at each other for at least 10 minutes. One of the reasons I selected Spring Hill Suites was my belief it was a more upscale brand and would be located in a safe area. Boy was I mistaken. When I spoke to the front desk about the incident, they, too, were shaken up. It was only when they told me Cameo, the strip club next door was closed on Sunday that I decided to stay a second night. I googled Cameo and discovered numerous shooting incidents at the club. Up until this weekend, I had managed to avoid being in an area where gunshots are fired. I would never stay at that hotel again and would advise anyone who values safe locations to avoid. read more

After a LONG day of delays and cancellations, the last minute reservation at this hotel was a life saver. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the service was spot on. We called from the airport to request a pick up, and we were scooped up in 10 minutes. Off to the hotel we went with a shuttle drive who was funny and kind and truly understood how exhausted and cranky we were. The employee at the front desk (I neglected to get his name) was also kind and QUICK in checking us in. I am Platinum at Marriott and was offered my check in gift (points or market item) and chose the points. He made sure we also had bottles of water, knowing we had a horrible day. He made sure to ask to schedule a wake up call AND to make sure we had a shuttle ride back to the airport the next morning (we only had 5 hours to "nap" at the property). He also made sure to invite us down a few minutes early for breakfast. Next morning, breakfast was hot and we had the same fantastic experience with the front desk (same employee) and shuttle drive (also the same). A quick trip back to the airport gave us a little pep in our step for the rest of our day! Thank you for coming to our rescue! You will be my first choice my next trip where I need a hotel near the airport in Charlotte! read more

Hotel room was clean as i thought the bed area the living area and kitchen was clean but the fridge had mold in it. I went to try and get it resolved but that was for me to pack all my things and move to another room. Nope not doing so, now the issue lies in with the person who is supposedly cleaning out the room. Got stuck in Charlotte for a night and they were going to put me in a Motel 6 or something...so I found this and booked. I should have read the reviews more thoroughly before staying here. It was not up to standards of a normal SpringHill Suites if you are a regular traveler. Only good thing was the size of the room, the rest...well... The rooms are old, the bed was not comfortable, the bathroom was sketchy and the room didn't look all that clean. The a/c is right next to the bed and is loud. Around 2 or 3 am I started hearing loud noise/people outside and was wondering what was going on, also people running and talking loud in the hallway. I just read another review that said it's located next to a strip club - that explains a lot. The next morning, I smelled weed in the hallway. Breakfast in the morning was blah. The breakfast area was not large, not clean, and the selection was slim. Some guests came down in pajama pants and head scarfs/bonnets/rollers like they were at home. read more

Did I sleep? YES. Bottomline, the hotel served its purpose. I'm finding more and more that the SpringHill Suites are becoming the "Comfort Inn" of the Marriott chain. The continental breakfast is nothing special, the walls are the thickest, and the place can get packed with busloads of children heading between home and some sort of competition. But the prices are reasonable for the areas they're located. This particular location is adjacent to the airport, so for those flying to/from, such as myself, it's incredibly convenient. It's also located along a major interstate and was very simple to find. Walking through the hallways, you might think you were headed for an underwater adventure. I wish they'd spend that money on the hallways inside the rooms with better shower features or thicker padded chairs. But...alas... The room passed muster and the bathroom could have benefit from an exhaust fan, though most hotels simply don't offer those. The shower needed recaulking around the shower head so that it didn't pop away from the wall. I notice this in so many hotels, and it's something that cleaning staff can easily notice, so it tells me that hotel processes don't include reporting those sorts of fixes regularly (daily) or maintenance doesn't prioritize those fixes or the hotel doesn't care. For this lower tier hotel, they're probably fine with it. Breakfast got the job done, enough, I suppose, until I found something else to eat at the airport. The breakfast bar was a mess, and the employee staffing it apologized as she was trying to frantically clean and restock it after a group of children competing in something went ballistic on the cereal, waffle maker, and juice. This may not be the Four Seasons, but it's a ok bed next to the airport, and I didn't hear, or at least didn't notice/care about, overnight air traffic. read more

Disclaimer: we stayed here on American Airlines' dollar since our flight was cancelled. I can't comment on value for the price since I didn't pay for it. I can only comment on the hotel and staff. The staff here are really friendly, even at times no one else wants to be awake, like midnight or 5 AM. They must be used to getting airline vouchers since they had no problem processing ours. Our room was really nice (though we didn't get much of a chance to enjoy it since we were catching another flight first thing in the morning). It wasn't a problem to get things like toothpaste that you might not have if your trip suddenly became much longer than you expected. I generally have trouble sleeping in a new place, and this was no exception, but I didn't have as much trouble sleeping here as I would have expected. Although we were leaving the hotel about an hour before breakfast officially began, they were already setting out pastries and things when we were waiting for the airport shuttle, and they had no problem with us snagging an early snack. read more

This hotel is not up to par compared to other marriotts. It's very run down. I always stay at Marriott when I travel and this is not very well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. They did knock on my door at 8:30 to clean it. We had gotten in at 2am from the airport. We forgot to put the do not disturb sign up. The breakfast seemed to have a lot of options but by the time we got down there at 9:45 everything was mostly gone and there were probably 30 people sitting in the dining area eating. read more

If there is one thing I like about Marriott hotels, it's that you know what you're going to get: clean rooms and a nice place to stay. The front desk ladies were very nice and helpful with places to eat in the area. In the mornings they do serve coffee and a complimentary breakfast. If you're looking for a full breakfast with eggs, I would recommend just going down the road to the cracker barrel. Being here for business, Spring Hill Suites sets the rooms up nicely to have your office area and plenty of room to spread out. Best part is that WiFi is free!
