We stayed here since it was close to the concert venue, Hershey Stadium. It was a short drive (2 miles) so it was super convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful to recommend nearby attractions. We only stayed one night, and didn't take advantage of the amenities, but they do have an indoor pool and a free breakfast. This hotel is located right next to the Hershey Museum and super close to restaurants, stores, and gas stations. We would definitely stay here again. read more

I've always loved Springhill for the style and service they offer. Check in was a breeze. The staff were friendly. The pool was clean. Maybe I haven't visited a Springhill in awhile, but here were some things that made me sad: Our room was clean, but the shower drain needed to be unclogged a bit and there was def much more obvious wear and tear in the bathroom than I typically see at a Springhill (i.e. cracked floor, 2 toilet paper holders- one that looked like it was there because the fixed-in-place one hadn't been fixed yet, older fixtures, etc.h I'm sad the breakfasts now are mostly all packaged, but it was still decent (can't complain about complimentary breakfast). Overall, worth the price point and value. read more

I absolutely, 100% recommend SpringHill near Hershey. I wonder what else could top a stay here. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered everything we could need with plenty of towels and Netflix. What more could a mom want for a short getaway with two tweens?! We stayed for two nights. The hot breakfast and pool were added bonuses. Ms Farryn Brown, the manager and concierge, Ms Charlene, took great care of us! I really can't say enough about the high level of customer service and convenience of this hotel. read more

This hotel has been very recently renovated, so everything is in great shape. It's attractive, with well-lit halls. The room/suites have a couch with built-in trundle which makes it good for families. There's a kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave and sink, but no dining table, just a desk with one chair. I was only staying two nights, so this was not an issue. Everything was clean, clean, CLEAN! Because of the recent renovation, even the bathroom caulk was perfect. The desk staff was friendly and welcoming. They have restaurant lists that they will give you on request. There is a small shop for beverages and necessities. Soundproofing is very good. There was a family with small children across the hall and I heard NOTHING. Location is very good, near Hershey Park and 10 minutes off of I-81. Just a couple of very minor nitpicks: 1) The "pebbling" on the bathtub floors is still very slippery and there is only one grab bar as you get into the tub and none on the back wall. Bath mats for in the tub would be helpful, as would a second grab bar on the long wall. 2) The lobby at times smells strongly of chlorine from the indoor pool that is right off the lobby. 3) The "hot" breakfast items are pre-packaged (in plastic) items, plus some scrambled eggs and the standard hotel waffle maker. The packaged spinach/cheese quiche was tasty but only lukewarm. There are 3-4 diners nearby so I recommend seeking breakfast elsewhere (which may be why it's so meager here). 4) There is only ONE ice machine, on the first floor, so if you are on a higher floor you have to go downstairs to get ice. Overall I was very happy with this hotel (though it was quite pricey being on the verge of peak Hershey Park season) and would stay there again. read more

Charlene the front desk person is wonderful, accommodating and resourceful. She does everything from registration to addressing the broken hot tub. Always with a smile . She gets 5 stars. Good location. Rooms have stained furniture and carpet. Closet door was broken. Light out over the sink. Air conditioning was very cold. Hot tub and lighting were fixed the next day. Conveniently located a short distance from Hershey. There is also a mall and Weis close by if you need anything. I arrived at 3:30 and was told my room was not ready because the hotel was so busy. They have a pool but I did not use it. The hotel was clean. Rooms were spacious and had a microwave and small fridge. Breakfast was included with my stay. It was good. Great hotel in all aspects. Very clean, nice front desk, windows can be open a bit which eliminates problems with the smell in a room and gives you fresh air to breathe, great choices and quality for breakfast and close to Hershey's attractions. The only thing that could be improved is the temperature of the water in the pool and jaccuzzi tub should be much higher (particularly at cold seasons of the year). This hotel is serviceable and will do in a pinch, but could do with a few improvements: 1. The soap, shampoo, etc... is about as cheap as you can get. My shower took twice as long because it took that long to get the soap film off of you. 2. Stuffing a few Kleenex into an empty box each day may give the appearance of a full box, but the jig is up when someone needs more than 3 tissues. Give me a break. This is ridiculous and just a cheap shortcut. 3. The breakfast bar was horrendous. The only thing worth eating was the dry cereal. Everything else was essentially disgusting. Once again, hit a home run at this hotel chain. Located very convenient to Hersey Park and their outlets. Clean, comfortable, large room. Also located close to a shopping mall for your eats and a Giant Grocery Store - where you need to go to get discounted Hersey Park Tickets. You can fit 2 Adults and 2 Teens in these rooms completely comfortable. Large area to spread out and the beds were extremely comfy :-) The only negative about the room was the AC/Heater.. Very old unit and ran a bit loud, but if you wanted heat, you got it! Lol. The breakfast area and food were very popular. Not a minute past 7am, and every table was taken. The food was fresh, hot and consistently replenished. Nice variety as well. Coffee was hot and fresh. For the price, location, and service, this hotel really fit's the bill. Be aware if you plan on staying at Springhill Suites on Museum Drive! Marriott corporation doesn't care about their guests! You are just a number. Three families (Probably more) were moved yesterday to a hotel 30 min past Hershey to sell our rooms at a higher rate! Now our families have to drive 30 min past Hershey to stay at Hilton we didn't book!! The back and forth alone will not only be inconvenient but costly!!! The SpringHill Suites was a fantastic place to stay! We stopped in here while on a long road trip, and visiting the Hershey area. This hotel is very close to the park and the arena which hosts many concerts. There are many convenient restaurants nearby, and the host at the front desk gave us a list of places, including many that delivered! The parking lot is large and safe and we were able to find a very convenient spot every time. Our room was one of the two-bed suites and it was very big and nice! There is a couch, small kitchen, desk, and two large and comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. The TV was huge! And importantly for us -- the free wifi was extremely fast and we were able to download and upload large video files for work. We visited the fitness center which had lots of machines and equipment, all of them working. It was well-ventilated and had towels and water. The pool also looked large and clean! Breakfast had coffee, tea, yogurt, waffles, cereal, milk, juice, and pastries, all for free and very nice. This was a convenient and luxurious hotel and I would stay there anytime I was in the Hershey area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

Stayed two nights. Location is lovely-- close to park. It was a "decent" stay, but cost was excessive for what was offered. Hotel is EXTREMELY dated. Room had cracks in walls in bedroom and bath area. Phones in room didn't work. Alarm clock had a charging port for the original first generation iPhone. Pool was rusty. Fire alarm went off at 2 am-- full evacuation for nearly an hour. No member of management or staff acknowledged this or explained what happened. Breakfast is very limited and was not restocked in a timely fashion. Definitely needs some TLC. read more

Middle of no where. No food or drinks nearby. Carb overload at breakfast. The room was good, but a little over priced. From Hershey World, we took back (and the only) roads for what it seemed like forever (5 or so miles). We were looking for some drinks after dinner and had to drive quite a distance (more back roads) for some liquid refreshment. The breakfast lacked fresh fruit and variety. The coffee was terrible. It was so bad we went to Waffle House. Not sure why or when I will return to the area, but I will stay at another Marriott facility closer to anything. read more

We stayed here for 3-nights during the summer. I found the hotel to be clean (rooms, breakfast area, parking lot). I felt safe in the hotel. The workers are friendly. Plenty of hot water, A/C works well. I did not hear kids when in my room. The area for improvement is the breakfast bar. First, they did not have skim milk or brown sugar for the three breakfasts. Not sure why they did not get more after the first day. They are walking distance from the Giant Supermarket. Hershey is the heart of the PA dairy country - there is no milk shortage. The manager should have an idea of the amount of food consumed during the peak season & it should not take days to resupply. Second, the breakfast hours on weekends & summer peak needs to be modified. 10AM is too early to stop serving breakfast. You're not catering to business travelers who are out the door no later than 8. I've read some reviews about this hotel which I do not believe are fair. Look at the name of the hotel. If you cannot accept screaming kids - this is the wrong venue for you. If Hersheypark is open, it's a safe bet this hotel will be full of kids. read more

Hershey Park and the local arena are a few miles down the road but the hotel is in the hills nearby so it doesn't feel to busy. The rooms are big and well appointed. When we are in the Hershey area again this will be our #1 Hotel Stay choice. The complimentary chocolates, coffee, tea and water table is convenient right upon check in. It was a nice feature to have the indoor pool and spa (just wish the pool was heated). Our room was very neat and clean and our beds were fresh and very comfortable. It was so nice to have the little kitchenette in our room to have a dinner in. But I have to rave about the breakfast during our stay-delicious!! It was the usual to-go fruit (apples, etc) and some oatmeal with all the toppings. Then some scrambled eggs with fresh spinach, turkey bacon, and cheese. There also was a waffle maker as well. I'm so surprised nobody's mentioned the water situation. I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and they must have a soft-water issue because - I kid you not - it's *impossible* to wash the soap off your body... It's so strange and unlike anything I've ever experienced. Stayed in another hotel five minutes away and did not have this problem, also tried using my own soap during my second stay at this hotel and still left the shower feeling like I had a layer of soap on my skin. I am about to checkout of Springhill Suites Hershey Park and can only say that although the hotel is clean and our room was comfortable, the customer service of the management team is lacking, rude and unapologetic, even when the hotel has made an error. Upon check-in, the hotel held almost double the cost of our room. After 4 days here and daily calls to try to have this rectified, when the "manager" returned today, her reply was to believe she should explain to me that I don't understand her system and that it was not them but the system. This was not a small hold that was held in error but a substantial value. There was no concern on this hotel's part for their consumer, our years of staying at Bonvoy locations and being loyal customers. She did not want to hear my frustration or level of upset and clearly could not be bothered. This experience negatively impacted my trip and I would not stay here again. read more

I stayed here earlier this week and really enjoyed everything! This was my first time staying in the Springhill Suites brand and to be honest, I was super nervous that the place was going to be grimy and unpleasant. My experience ended up being just the opposite! The rooms were a good size, everything was super clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Free internet and a great fitness room to boot! I attend a conference in Hershey every year and this year I waited too long and missed out on getting a room at the "conference hotel" -- I am so glad that I waited, otherwise I wouldn't have found this little gem. This hotel was nice. Room had a contemporary feel but layout wasn't good for a family of five. Two queen beds and a sofa bed met our sleeping needs, but the room isn't much bigger than the beds. Bathroom layout meant only one person at the mirror at a time. Breakfast was okay. Lots of carb options. Overall it is a medium hotel. Quiet, clean and I'm well rested. We booked on booking.com for a king suite. We made reservations well out. Once we got to the hotel we where told they overbooked and got moved to a double handicapped room. We complained because we needed the king bed due to my husband having knee replacement surgery. We where told basically sorry for your troubles nothing we can do. Mind you, two people checked in after us, later the told us he got the room he booked a week ago, a king suite! We booked over a month ago. I had called custom service only to be lied too. They tried to say it was booking.com fault and they booked two queens. I told her I was looking at my reservation and thats not what it said, she got angry and said take it up with them. I called booking.com and they confirmed they never tried to book anything but a king suite, they even have the confirmation of our booking of a king suite. They proceeded to call Marriot with me on hold and they had stated they couldn't help but would lower our cost because the room was a lesser value room and also give a measly 250 extra points. Neither of these things happened. We paid close to 500 for a double bed handicapped room that was dirty (I do have pictures). The phone did not work and we almost lost our dinner because he was leaving by the time we tried to catch him in the lobby. The front desk wouldn't permit them to deliver to the room. We told them the phone would ring but it would not connect. They never fixed it. 3 phones on that room and nonworking. Never again will Marriott get money from us. Caveat Emptor--Buyer Beware: Sept 1st, 2016 RE: Missing property at Springhill Suites Hershey/Harrisburg stay (Reservation #8512024) Mr. Bill Marriott Office of Consumer Affairs 10400 Fernwood Rd Bethesda, MD 20816 Mr. Marriott; It is regretful that I need to write this letter but I simply cannot allow management at this establishment to get away with the way we were treated during our 5 night stay. We discovered 2 items missing during our forced room switch of which a sequence and narrative of the incident follows: August 7th, 2016 1. Checked in Sunday evening August 7, 2016 and experienced air conditioning failure in rom 117. While unpacking in the hot room we tried to cool it down, which was about a 15 minute effort. 2. We asked for help to resolve the AC, but Todd said no one was available and we had to move to another room with working AC. 3. Repacked and moved to room 228 August 9th, 2016 4. Realized two $25.00 Starbucks travel mugs were missing that Tuesday morning August 9 and remembered leaving them on the kitchen counter in rm 117 before we had to be relocated to rm 228. 5. We reported the missing items to Todd and that we missed re-packing them due to our exhaustion from the long drive, unpacking in a hot room, trying to get the ac to work, and finally repacking to make the move to another room . Housekeeping went to the room to look for the travel mugs while the guests were out but did not see them. August 9th -12th During our total say we waited for management who we were told would definitely get back to us NEVER contacted us. We had to keep inquiring at the desk as to when we would hear something. During our check out Michael Shaun told us that the incident was our liability and to file a police report if we wanted. Mr. Marriott, I have come to the conclusion that one of two things happened: Springhill staff DID check the rooms after our transfer to fix the AC and/or properly prep the room for the next guests after our use of the room and KEPT the mugs, OR they allowed another guest to use the room after our departure without cleaning and prepping. Any check for our items was done AFTER the new guests checked in. If the new guests helped them selves to the "prizes" on the kitchen counter it was due to failure of the staff to prep the room BEFORE another guest arrived. Most likely this is what happened. Michael Shaun was very nasty about the whole incident and said he didn't appreciate us implying his house keeping staff lifted the property. He said he and housekeeping checked the room and found nothing. That's to be expected if he and housekeeping checked AFTER the new guests checked the next day and not before. He did not indicate when HE checked the room. That stay was not a good experience and it gives me pause as to what we should expect regarding visiting Marriott properties. We arrived exhausted from the traffic-congested 9 hour drive and were looking forward to resting in a comfortable room. We are not trying to run a scam over $50.00, we are angry and dismayed that we had to lose property because the room we checked into was poorly maintained and management didn't give a hoot. Not to mention, it doesn't help to know that rooms are not checked after guests have to be relocated. We are asking to be compensated for the mugs and believe it is not an unreasonable request considering the circumstances. We do look forward to your response. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bill Marriott's office didn't afford us the courtesy of a response and hid behind the hotel manager as follows: On 9/9/16 the Hershey property wrote: Your letter to Mr. Marriott has been referred to me for a response. The rooms are small. I mean very small, like trip over your bed when you come in the door, small. That said the bathroom was surprising the larger part of the room. I stayed in their king suite which included a kitchenette. The room was super clean and soundproof. The bed was nice and plush with lots of pillows. The free wireless internet was a nice perk and I had no lag or trouble connecting from my laptop. I didn't care for the provided toiletries since smelt more manly and left a feeling of film on my skin. But since I packed in a rush and forgot my own soap, I had to use them. The only other thing I could call a complaint is that the only ice machine is on the ground floor near the lobby. I didn't try the included breakfast but I saw them prepping it and it looked nice. I would probably stay there again if I am ever in the area. read more

I had to go to Hershey for work, my team (about 5 of us) and I finally got in around 9 pm; if you are used to a big city, all you can think is, great a small town out in the country, how happening is this going to be? As we walked in, the manager immediately greeted us by our first names, she was expecting us and actually knew our first names. Our first day there we had to sit around and wait for transactions to occur before we could continue with our project, we were not allowed to leave at all. We begged to go down to the Hershey Chocolate World, which takes about 3 min. to get there but nope they said. The manager of the hotel noticed our boredom; our day finally done of sitting around and we were able to leave for dinner. When we returned to our room the manager put together a complimentary gift bag for us to remember Hershey. We were pleasantly surprised with the quaint little town and the accommodations offered. We found some great little restaurants and a bar to occupy us for the night. If I ever go back, I would love to stay at this hotel. The customer service was absolutely perfect and I was completely surprised by the whole experience. read more

For starters this hotel was very clean, up to date and staffed with very friendly folks! My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick get away and came to Hershey to tour the Hershey factory and troeges brewery. I opted to get the suite that had the jacuzzi bath and did not regret one penny! The room was clean, the bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. The room was fully stocked with towels, pillows, cups, coffee plates and ever two tvs! I will say as my step mom has a handicapped mother I was eager to tell her about it as the room was very spacious and very well equipped! I will start by saying the only reason we picked this hotel was because they offered a couples package. The package was to include a bottle of wine, a basket of chocolate ,a gift certificate to a local restaurant and a gift card to get massages. We had booked this hotel 3 weeks out, upon arriving the desk clerk told us they were unable to get everything for the package. What she meant was that all we were getting was a room. The hotel is 2 miles from a state store and is located in Hershey pa. How you couldn't find chocolate or wine seems like not finding sand at the beach. Stayed here this past weekend with my family overnight and was pleasantly suprised! We got a package deal for a one night stay and 2 adult Hershey park tickets for a little under $375. The hotel was clean and spacious. It had a small indoor pool and jacuzzi. Which was nice, but the pool had wayyyy too much chlorine in it. Which is great from a hygenic perspective , but none the less bad on the eyes!! We also got a free contiental breakfast which was nice as well. I wish it had a few more hot options but it definitely did the job! A big plus of this place is that fact that it's literally a couple of miles down the road from Hershey Park. So getting up, fed, and out the door to the park was a breeze! Also the people at the desk couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The hotel is also located next to a musuem which is cool if you're looking for something to do besides Hershey Park and there's a cute little ice cream shop across the street as well. My only complaint was the way our room was set up. It was a huge room with a kind of half wall dividing the bedroom and living room. They decided to put the TV in the middle of this walla so I guess whoever was in bed and whoever was on the couch can both watch TV at he same time. But they didn't quite take into account that when the pull out couch was opened that there was literally no room to move around the TV and bed to get into the kitchen area. It was just a bit uncomfortable is all, nothing major (that's room 101 by the way in case you don't want to stay there.) All in all I'd come back in the future! read more
