Sprinklers NW did a whole package for us including new sidewalks, curbing and landscaping. They also adjusted our existing sprinklers to accommodate our new landscaping. Cannot recommend this company in fact, I would warn, especially anyone who doesn't know the basics about irrigation and landscaping to stay away. Outside of our own issues with this company, I've had countless complaints of similar issues from our neighbors and friends in other neighborhoods close by. We moved into a new development and the builder contracted with this company. And we found out from one of their previous employees that they take all of their young trainees and tell them to lay the sprinkler heads right off the concrete crease before the sod's put down to cut corners as there is no digging required. The problem with that is the back spray hits the concrete and you're literally are watering the concrete. Ours was cracked and had to be repaired because of this. Typical irrigation you install the sprinkler line/head a foot to 2 feet in. This allows for proper maintenance like edging work, and preventing damage to the concrete ,as well as creating a reasonable gap for fencing to be put in without damaging the irrigation system ,let alone damaged sprinkler heads. They didn't not adjust the sprinkles they installed, they were watering the street. We had to have multiple heads moved. They planted trees that are very toxic to dogs that and we had to pull out a replace them. They did a poor excuse of a job laying sod with gaps and holes over 4inches everywhere. It's one giant lumpy tripping hazard .Every landscape company and yard maintenance company we have had out could not help pointing how awful it looked and gaps/ holes when walking. We got Sod ourselves and still are having to cut and patch a year later. We had them out multi times because they couldn't get the job done right the first time. It's not work the headache to work with them, even if it was under warranty we decided to do it ourselves or hire another company to save time and stress. read more

july 2025. re: sprinklers northwest. used this business for turn on/offs for sprinklers, ok. however, when used them for installation, planting, they had no equipment, but, bid was one thing, end job was not as quoted. they quoted one price and later called it an extimate because they charged 33 percent more for the same job.they dont care. watch out!! read more

They gave us used borders, they left huge holes in the rocks and put down crushed gravel, saying it would wash through to the bottom. It doesn't. They left a huge pile of gravel in front of our house, rather than spreading it appropriately. Kyle yelled at my 74 y/o partner when she called about a conflict. They told our 80 year old neighbor she had dig out a boulder so they could remove it. At best, their work is adequate. Not close to good. Keep looking! read more

We live in one of many Rathdrum Idaho homes where the builder used Sprinklers Northwest for front yard landscaping. They are very unprofessional and appear to hire people who don't know what they are doing and don't manage them. There is a reason that all of the homeowners on our street, except one, had someone else do the landscaping in their backyards after experiencing Sprinklers Northwest. Many of us have had to redo our yards becuase we ended up with lots of gravel, a little dirt, a little grass and lots of weeds. Plants were but in the ground on top of big rocks and some didn't have the root ball broken apart before planting. Anyone who called them back for rework got mostly the same level of quality, which is why many of us redid our yards ourselves. I wouldn't have them back to do anything. read more

Wow, Sprinklers Northwest is absolutely awesome! The owner and the crew are the best you will find in this area. We had them build a retaining wall, spa pad and curved walkway to the beach at our Rathdrum home in Radiant Lake and we cannot say enough about the great job they did. In addition they put in the sprinkler system, sodded the entire yard and built garden boxes for my husband that are not only functional but beautiful as well. We just can't say enough about the attention to detail. After the work was done they had an inspector, who works for their own company mind you, come and review everything and make adjustments to the sprinklers so they worked perfectly and to be sure we were satisfied with everything. The company also put in walkway and specialty lighting for us and it is perfection. If you need landscaping services these are the guys for you! Just a note...If you treat people with kindness and appreciation I find you will always get awesome service. These guys deserve not only 5 stars but a hundred and 5 stars. We spent almost $10K on landscaping and have had nothing but problems. Not very much knowledge based regarding plants, watering, etc. changes information because forgets what was said prior. Owner has attitude issues. I wouldn't recommend at all. read more

My husband and I have not had to deal with sprinklers nor a yard in over 25 years. We just moved into a new home in CDA where the builder used this company to install the sprinklers and landscaping. Wing we don't know much about sprinklers we had to call a few times to their office for help. Austin has come to our rescue right away and fixed the issue and then showed my husband how to fix it ourselves. Austin is very courteous and very polite. I am sure we will need help again. I have been a customer for nearly 6 years and every fall and spring, I need to call them to schedule an appointment for sprinkler blowout/recharge. Now, as a company, I would think you would just call your customers to schedule rather than them doing it. Every season I receive a letter in the mail stating they would contact me but they never do. This spring is when I finally had it. First, it is the middle of May now. Not one word from them on coming to take care of my sprinklers. Next, when I call - no answer and no return phone call. Finally, my neighbor calls and we find out they are booked out 2-3 weeks and got held up in April because of rain. Wait? What? So? Every previous season they came out in the rain to do sprinklers. So, fine... we get scheduled. The day arrived and we were supposed to be first on the list. 10am came and went. No one showed up. Then, they told there was a schedule mishap and it is now 1-3. 3:00pm came and went and no one showed up. I called and guess what - big surprise - no answer. I will be looking for another company now. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!! read more

Sprinklers northwest does great work. They get the job done right the first time. The irrigation systems they install water correctly and keep the grass green. They are hard workers who design, fairly quote and install the entire irrigation system. The workers provide excellent customer service. They also do curbing for landscape beds. I would recommend them for any irrigation installation. read more

The absolute worst. I'm calling them for the third time today to reschedule my back flow certification because the first two times they never even SHOWED UP! Had someone show up yesterday to fix our leaky valves and had no idea what they were doing, was barely there for 10 minutes before he said "I don't know what wrong with the system.."? and left. I asked him if he was going to do the backflow certification and he said "No, someone else is going to come do that" when I asked him when he said he didn't know. I'm so furious and frustrated with this company. After I get this figured out, I will NEVER use them again. Worst customer service in my life. read more

When my house was built Sprinklers Northwest was the company that put in the irrigation system ~ two years later, I am still calling them for different jobs to do. They put in curbing around my flower beds last fall - some of the curbing did not hold up well through the winter, but they came back this spring and cut out any 'bad' sections and replaced them. They made sure I was happy with the results. Great people to work with. If I have problems with the sprinklers, they come out to help. read more

Repeatedly terrible customer service! They scheduled me for a service appt at 11am on the Saturday of a 3-day holiday weekend saying that was the only time they had available. I really needed the work done, so I agreed. I was at the property early and waited for 4 hours after the scheduled appt time of 11am...but no one showed up...and no one called...and there was no one in the office for me to call! It was an absolute waste of an entire day on a holiday weekend! And I had to reschedule the landscaper that was going to do all the planting. When I contacted them the following Tuesday they barely apologized and rescheduled me for the upcoming Friday morning. Then late on Thursday afternoon they called to reschedule me for the weekend again...I said no way...I wasn't going to wait around on a weekend when they didn't have anyone working in the office to follow up on their own scheduling...so they cancelled my appointment. They cost me another whole week with nothing getting done and all my plants being stressed...and I had to reschedule my landscaper once again. I am so done with this totally unprofessional company! read more

I have had problems with this company recently. I spent what was a large amount of money for me last July to have extra landscaping at my new house however, there are now problems with the front lawn that is completely covered with clover, I do not see this issue with the other lawns in the subdivision. I have a pine tree that I paid for in a raised garden area in the front yard and I asked for someone to look at this tree last fall because there was a whole area of brown branches, they sent someone out and I was told they put something on it and if it still looked like that after the winter they would be back out. Someone came without notifying me yesterday and I was not home so I couldn't talk directly to them. When I emailed this morning about my concerns with the work I was answered rudely and told I could cut off those branches and no one would be out because it was alive which is probably true but it is scrawny and looks ugly. I responded and no one has answered me. The clover was spot sprayed and since the lawn is almost all clover I don't understand the spot spray. I paid for extra landscaping and the tree was part of that and embarrasses me because it is visible to anyone driving by. I suppose I will have to pay another landscaper to correct things that I paid for initially and really can't afford again. I am so disappointed. read more
