While I can empathize with the added restrictions for Covid what I can not tolerate is having a manager threaten my husband with police action because he is Disabled Veteran who had his service dog with him and can not wear a mask because of his disabilty. My husband doesnt normally come to the store with me, but with a recent celiac diagnosis I needed to help teach him how to shop safely, instead he was threatened with police involvement and denied services. The staff here are super personable. I always know I can get a pleasant conversation or a few nice looks from their cashiers. Since the pandemic began, I have made a point of this being the only grocery store I go to because they're pretty much the only grocery store enforcing the mandates. I have a lung condition that will cause covid to kill me and their efforts to slow the spread is phenomenal. While I have usually preferred shopping at Whole Foods (or Luckys, RIP), moving to the Grand Valley has forced us to shop at Sprouts way more than normal. I didn't consider this to be a good thing. However, since COVID19 and Stay-at-Home orders, Sprouts has become heroic. Ordering over the phone and having groceries delivered, with a smile, is a huge stress relief. While they may not have everything, they are happy to help find alternatives and every delivery has been astonishingly fast and super cheerful. When this is all over, we will happily shop even more frequently at Sprouts. read more

Very unmotivated staff... They never have the amount of items I would like to purchase when I'm in the store, I've tried calling ahead of time to have them order me extra product, but there is never anyone available in this store to take your call from that department, and when the person that answers the phone says that they will take your number and have somebody call you back... SURPRISE, nobody does that either! Once while I was visiting there I was purchasing some seafood, as I stood at the counter the seafood clerks were going out of their way to no look up at the counter to help anyone, this was during a time when there was only about 10 customers in the whole store. Once the seafood clerk decided to help me at the counter I had to stop him to change his gloves to handle what I was about to purchase. I'm not much for cross contaminated meats. I believe he was handling pork and was proceeding to handle fish without putting on a fresh pair of food handling disposable gloves. Just my opinion... but it just seems like these large businesses just give their stores too much to handle than to let them just relax and be a good old fashioned local store. No wonder more and more people are making the decision to just make their purchases online, it's just easier than the way they think things have to run today. read more

Super helpful employee saw how many options of sunscreen we were considering and offered that we could try one we were looking at and that she could make it a tester. So glad she said that because after two spritzes I tried some on my face and it felt good -- not greasy nor did it sting. Ended up buying the first one and did not need to try any others but it was nice to have the peace of mind knowing it worked for us before buying. I went into sprouts for the first time as I was told they had really good items to choose from. I went in, found a couple of really good steaks and as I was walking to the register the store manager came up and was extremely nasty to me demanding I put on a mask. Mind you this is after the statewide restrictions were lifted. I have asthma and explained this to the lady. She flat out told me she didn't care about my health issues and that I needed to order online or leave. I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner before in my life. This lady should not manage anything at any location. I can only imagine how she speaks to the employees. This was my first and last experience with sprouts. I will never return read more

Dirt cheap deals on produce...if I shop the sales right I can get a whole cart full of fresh fruits and vegetables for under 20 bucks. When they first opened they really enticed me in by having super great deals on meat, like $1.99/lb ground beef but have since not had any impressive meat sales...wish they would go back to that. read more

I attended the friends and family preview night tonight. They were generous with their samples! Yummy!! The store is nicely laid out and IF the prices stay what they have on everything currently, then Grand Junction is going to be very, very happy with Sprouts. Their bulk section wasn't all I had been dreaming of though... I had heard the prices and selections were wonderful, so I must have let my imagination get the better of me. They had a nice selection of dried fruits, cereals, grains and chocolate covered goodies, but no spices. Oh wait, I take that back. They had salt. I guess I'll still have to slide over to Vit. Cottage still to get those. They had a great deli, meat and cheese section. Lots of yummy looking house-made sausages and ready to heat meals at very decent prices! Finally a place with good, quality produce, some organic, some not and it's always fresh. Great prices, seriously organic, non-horomone or antibiotic infested milk, 3$ a gallon. Great butcher with nice choices of different meats. They have Kangaroo, Boar and a couple other exotic meats. They support as much local as they can, when local food is in season. Staff is great and helpful. They even bring in seasonal exotic fruits such as Dragon Fruit and Rumbatun at times. read more

I came into the store 2 weeks ago at 9:30 pm about, as I went about my shopping I was approached on whether I would be paying cash, credit card, or check as they were closing out registers! I answered their question, I had a few minutes till 10 which I guess was closing, I asked meat dept about getting sausage, was told they were closed, I told him I had a few minutes that I was sorry. He truffle helped me, again I said I was sorry, that usually customer service was a consideration. I got to register only to find the head checked waiting beside the checker, I had said I had never ran into this before here, where or who is on duty? A lady came over, I did not recognize anyone and I had been shopping there since they opened! I asked for names! Stacy made a remark that well we are closed, it is then about 12 min after 10. I said if you don't want to wait on customers after closing at 10, why didn't you say so when I came in! I was upset! What is going on with Sprouts?? I have never been treated this way before! If this is how you want to do business I will not be back!!! read more

You will find more organic choices here than most grocery stores but they run out of the fruits and vegetables fast! It's like they don't stock up on enough and they are always out of bananas and lemons. Their prices are fantastic though and their meat selection is excellent. read more

I am very glad to have the Sprouts Store open here in the Valley.. I enjoy your products and I hope that all goes well for your staff and that you get the much needed break soon :) As I was waiting in line for even 35 mins.. it is ok... as it was the first day of opening. Some were complaining but I don't think they realize how long you and your staff have been working and on your feet for up to 15 + hours for days on end... so Thank you.. The one thing that might be helpful and I am not sure you have it there? but at the deli counter i heard people asking about how to cook certain items.. like the stuffed clams etc. and some of the other stuffed chickens etc. If you had small index type info cards for people to take with them that might be helpful. And I am not sure but the coupons that I printed off of your web site.. they do not have bar codes on them and that seems to take up time at the checkout..
