I went to this place when it first opened and never came back unit now. The atmosphere and energy was not good. The people looked like they didn't want to be there. Nobody smiling and lifeless. I drive by this place about 4 time a day and I absolutely refused to do business here from this experience. After many years, I gave this place another try. To my surprise it was a night and day difference from the first time I walked through the doors. A young lady at the entrance greeting you with a some samples and a big smile. Walked passed the bakery section and heard a very loud "how are you doing today". I almost passed out from someone actually speaking to me. I was in shock. This isn't the same place I visited when it first opened. I look around and see employees smiling and wanting to be there. In the distance I heard laughing coming from the deli and meat department. When I walked up, I was immediately greeted with a smile and asked if I needed any help. They were still in tears laughing by the way which was a nice feeling. So in a nut shell, this is what I think about Sprouts now. Great selection of products. The people are very nice. The Manager's Specials they have are amazing. I saw they had Rotisserie chicken for $.99 and some ham at the deli for $.50/lb. I'm a customer for life now and when I'm done shopping I go next door to Kairo's for a bite to eat. read more

Witnessed the best job of bagging groceries I have ever seen. I don't know if Catherine is an engineering student, but she could charge for a course on how to bag groceries. It was almost as if it was her art. I was truly impressed. Mary working the register was super-efficient too. The thing we enjoy is the quality of rhe foods and yet the price is right too. But what I need to say that is even better is the customers service that all of the employees at the Simpsonville store go above and beyond . However last night theses four went above and beyond . My wife and I got there at 9:40 had almost 2 buggies full of groceries but we needed to call a Uber driver to get it home . My phone lost power with no USB to charge it or a charger. I asked one of rhe employee do yiu have an android charger . She said me see if I can find one . She came back with one I could use and I used the recharging room to see how much charge I could get . Managed to seem to get an Uber driver and just before I got it secured my phone cut off . So they canceled the Uber. I didn't know for sure so we were waiting outside 15 minutes later still no Uber. 4 employees came out after closing up . Braylon the security guard , Lydia Ashley who got the charger first for me and her mom Jessie they said do you have someone coming . I told her my situation she said yiu can use my car to charge your phone. So we sat and waited for my phone to charge and talked till I got at least 8 percent took and had to order a new Uber driver . 21 minutes away . So they sat with us till our ride arrived and I insisted to stay till we were in the vehicle . We thanked them several.times . They deserve a special attention from those who are their superiors. You don't find that at Walmart, food lion , ingles . This is why we shop at Sprouts . Thank you again so much you all are a blessing and will never forget your hospitality. The Simpsonville store never ceases to amaze me! All of the staff go out of their way to make sure to ask if I need help and they all go the extra mile to help. It is always such a pleasure to visit the meat department, Colby is always so personable and ready to let me know about new products. Casey in produce speaks to me and even knows me by name! I get to the register, and I couldn't ask for a better crew! Richard, Flo, Jessie, Susan, Todd are always so friendly, and they all work so well together! Love this store! i partially enjoy the well stocked produce section. It is just a waste of my money to buy fruit anywhere else. Other stores' produce just seem to go bad much quicker. Also want to give a shout out to the variety of the fresh herbs available. I can buy the amount I need, not the standard volume stuffed in those hanging plastic trays. Long time Sprouts customer. I shop here for my healthy items. I love the fact that they carry many Keto options. I also can use their app to see when my favorite items are on sale. The grocery manager Lorie Ann is always in the store working hard. I have been able to call her and special order items out of stock and she always lets me know when they are available. Mark has also been a huge help with orders. Randoms things I buy here are Zevia soda, Hero bread, Keto cereal, Almond Malk and Keto bars. And they always have all the new items that I want to try. The most expensive store offers the worst possible customer service. I put in an order thru instacart, it is the only time I have done this. I didn't come in the amount of time allowed and I went by the store to pick it up and was told the order had been cancelled and I would get a refund. Still 15 days later and no refund. I would not recommend shopping this way at this store. read more

Loved my lunch break here! Picked up a buffalo chicken wrap and it was tasty, I'd like to try other read to enjoy lunch items. The store offers unique and wonderful things. While it is more expensive you can tell the quality is very high. My husband and my sis would be in heaven here, such a nice variety of options for those with diet restrictions. I love the interesting vegetable choices like rainbow carrots and golden cauliflower. I picked up some clearance holiday succulents and retails items for 75% off which was fabulous. This was the first time I stopped at this grocery store, yeah it's been opened for several months, and it was a Saturday late afternoon and I thought it might be good to pick up something for the following week to celebrate our anniversary, which of course means food. . . Hey, the best way to the heart is through the gut! Surprisingly, I like the real big expansive open area. Many of the other stores when renovated tried to create something like this, but here, I can actually see across the shelves. Naturally, the first thing I came across was the "bakery" area with the breads, cookies, etc. Since Honey has lots of food allergies, I didn't stay in this area too long and the only gluten free (GF) item was the national brand wraps item that needs to be refrigerated. They did have a bunch of unique healthy refrigerated drinks such as these shots of cherry juice combined with organic apple cider vinegar, kombucha, kefir and such. Yeah, most women like to look at the latest fashion clothes or accessories but I like to see what the latest fad or health push is. Great meat section, fish, etc. Because I was going to make a special Chinese dim sum dish, pearl balls, I found the ground pork. (I only take notice of what's the latest health kick is, not always eat/drink it;). And then seeing they had boneless, skinless chicken breast for such a great deal that day, $1.99/lb heck, a bunch of meals since the next week will be a bit hectic. They have great selection of organic vegetables and fruits. I had mainly swung by to see if they had any organic celery which I got there and their kale was good price though I don't know if it's their regular price. Since March 14th was going to be that following week too (Pi Day), I also picked up a bag of organic apples for less than $4, I think. I had to remind myself I better leave soon as there's no way I'm going to be cooking all of this. However, I pushed my cart towards the milk section and was glad to see they have cashew milk!! Since Honey needs to be dairy free and we normally have coconut milk which all other stores carry, cashew milk is something we were told would be useful to make sauces that won't come apart during the heating process. Another unplanned item added to the cart. Going towards the front, you cannot help but see in the central area the BULK section of nuts! Yikes! I love nuts, trail mixes, etc but had enough will power to keep walking to check out. Overall I was very pleased to see the organic fruit and vegetables options and prices. They definitely had specialty items though was a little disappointed there weren't any that were GF bakery, though we would need it to be DF too. Glad to see lots of DF "milk" like coconut, almond, cashew, I think they also had rice milk. I'll need to go again with my actual shopping list to discover whether it will become part of my grocery stop. It's a bit out of my way but not by a lot. read more

This place has a ton of options if you're needing different types of ingredients for your eating lifestyle or dietary restrictions. Examples like alternative dairy options, organic, gluten free and vegan etc. Upon walking in it feels like a very small and compact grocery / farmers market. They made great use of the space. For it to have so many options it's not overwhelming at all. I'm constantly in search of fresh produce and of all the places I've visited, I think Sprouts has my repeat business now. I've gotten produce from here twice now and it's so fresh and plentiful. They also have great looking meals already prepared and packaged. The service is very friendly and helpful as well and they offer paper bags as an option at check out. read more

Sprouts Farmers Market opened June 13, 2018. The company originally started as a farm stand and has grown quite a bit since. This was their 300th location and 1st in South Carolina. What an achievement! The store is great with an open plan like an indoor farmers market. This location has 31,000 square feet of space, with a deli, meat, and seafood counter. The store offers many high quality products at affordable prices. From what I see, I do believe that most of the items are competitively priced. They have a great selection of dry goods available per pound and a great beer and wine selection. They have a comprehensive produce selection as well. I'd also like to add that the staff at the Simpsonville Sprouts are friendly and helpful. The store never seems too busy; which is a concern of mine. Have a visit for your grocery needs and spread the love if you agree. read more

Sprouts has continued to be one of my favorite grocery stores in the Five Forks/Woodruff Rd area. Updating my previous review because there have been a few noteworthy changes around the store but overall it is just as good as ever! The bulk bins are no longer set up as a serve it yourself, fill up your own container, type station. The selection of products remains the same but the items are now pre-weighed and individually packaged in plastic baggies. This makes buying from the bulk bins a little more convenient because you just grab and go, but the items are not marked by weight and are packaged generally all around the same size so you can't grab just a little bit of something. They have the lids off of the bins so it is easy to see multiple packages side by side but hard to know exactly how much you are getting without weighing multiple bags for comparison! read more

The staff was either non existent or endlessly stocking. The store is open but much smaller than it appears. I would argue it is not any cheaper than Whole Foods and with WF you at least get an amazon prime discount. Cashier took a long time but was the only cashier there along with someone to bag groceries with, or talk to while ignoring the customer in front of them. Not worth the hype. read more

Love it. Better, fresher, cheaper, safer than "Supermarket " food. Who knows where supermarkets buy their food from? But I know where the farmers market food comes from. It's a much better choice to buy from a place, you know where they come and get their food from than buying from places, who you just know that they have a special this week or that you get bonus points when purchasing bananas, grown in India or Afghanistan. Watch your cashier! Yellow potatoes at 88 cents a pound become creamed potatoes at 1.31 a pound. The frozen vegetable section is completely disorganized. It is very difficult to read the prices of these vegetables. Last week our radishes ,which were supposed to be 49 cents a pound , came to 99 cents a pound. There are plenty of organic bags, but have fewer of the regular ones. We have been shopping here every week since it opened, and spend over 100 dollars a week. read more

I am in LOVE with this Sprouts! I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about.....I've shopped there for years, and sometimes the cashiers gave an off day, but it's much better than Whole Foods or Lowe's, those both seem too large and not so personal. The only complaint I would have is that the items in the store keep getting moved around, so I have to allow more time fore shopping. I'll always be a Sprouts fan!! read more

I went to sprouts as I'm still on my quest in Greenville to find stuffed peppers(cherry peppers stuffed with prosciutto/cheese). Sprouts was very clean and the staff was friendly. Eating healthy is not on the top of my to do list. However all of the fruits/vegetables were much better than Publix and the cheese selection was great also. I didn't find my stuffed peppers but found this nice store with a great solution of healthy alternatives. read more

Just opened on June 13, 2018. With The Fresh Market being just over a mile down the road, this store seems somewhat redundant. The two stores are comparable, but Sprouts lacks the fresh salad / olive bar that The Fresh Market offers. The fresh blueberry pie just wasn't good. It was way too sweet, had too much pectin, and too few berries. The crust was a bit overbaked. The sushi (California roll) was no better than what can be purchased at any other grocery store. The fresh fruits and vegetables looked appealing. The sale prices for the week of their grand opening were good. read more
