This was a pleasant surprise. I have never been here before and I have heard about this place multiple times. There is a lot to shop for here. It's a multicultural store. The customer service was great. No complaints. This store is definitely an older store. The ambiance is giving late 80's early to mid 90's as far as it being a store but I'm sure it's older. There is plenty of food to shop for. Although the other prices might be cheaper at Walmart. It's always good to support your small neighborhood businesses. Do I recommend? Yes. Will I return? This is probably the best international market in the area! It is HUGE and has EVERYTHING you can think of. The produce department is beautiful and the entire store is spotless! A local GEM. Produce is fresh and prices are great. Definitely one of the only places you're going to get all the VIRAL desserts and ice creams you see on TikTok. They keep the Asian section STOCKED and it has everything you need plus so many new items like Korean frozen foods and snacks. Staff is always helpful and friendly and the vibes are what you would expect of your local Asian market. Visalia is lucky to have RN market!! read more

One of the cashiers she has grey hair, dark little and older, I think her name was Valeria but I heard her from another register and it seemed like she was training and that poor girl was mistreated just because she couldn't remember a code for a produce and especially saying this in front of customers that's very unprofessional. I hope she gets talked to at least about her tone towards that port girl. I don't want this to seem I'm being a hater but damn if they are still training of course they are gonna make mistakes you don't have to be so mean about it. read more

They are good for a lot of their selves items. Their produce used to be excellent but now it's just on a scale of good, but I have been in there more than once to the bakery, and there are flies inside their cases in the baked goods, especially the Mexican pastries there is flies and I've reported it and they act like they just don't care so I got him there a second time a third time they're still applies in there. This location has a great selection of udon and ramen noodles. It was the perfect One-Stop shop to get all the ingredients for udon and ramen: from the miso paste to the bok choy. The vegetables and ingredients were top quality. And when I couldn't find something I needed, the staff was wonderful in helping me locate my needed items. read more

They fried chicken they sell is good and not to mention huge. I personally enjoy the fried chicken with pork chow mien and sweet and sour pork. I like asian products here but I don't recommend buying eggs here. I bought a dozen and 3 of them were bad eggs.

Brst food ever! Quick Chinese food and it lasts all day if you get a plate for yourself!!!!!

The store isn't bad it's the way that staff are treated that's bad. A woman named Melissa treats staff like they are complete trash. She yells at them at the top of her lungs for anything she deems is wrong. Everyone in the store gets silent when she screams and the poor employees get so embarrassed. That woman is a menace and has worked there tormenting the staff for many years. I know when Melissa is on shift because there is usually yelling and a staff member crying. I have called management to complain and yet the next time I go it's the same thing if she's on shift. It's a mom and pop and that's why I liked it but I just can't take the tyranny anymore. read more

I was looking for an asian food market and one of my co-workers mentioned this place. It's really unsuspecting, but had everything I needed. It doesn't actually specialize in asian products, but they do have a couple of dedicated aisles. They also have a grab and go style restaurant with asian faire. I was tempted, but got my groceries and headed home to cook. read more

The cook who brought the rice out today wasn't wearing a face mask over his nose. I say another employee who was stalking the groceries doing the same thing. I then say an employee wearing a face shield which is like wearing nothing at all. Face shields are to catch splatter and the reason for the masks are reverse isolation. This is a review of the hot Chinese food. I grew up eating this as an occasional treat and I am disappointed with their current food/servings. Much of the food lacks flavor and the asian ladies who serve give you just the veggies out of meat dishes such as spicy pork and beef n broccoli, i had to tell the lady "i like the meat too" but she shot back a dissatisfied look. I stood in line and watched her give really generous servings of pork to a woman she must have known and all i got were veggies, I almost left the container on a shelf! The bbq pork is old, i purchased $10 worth and had to toss them because they were so hard i couldnt eat them. Fried rice and noodles were solid. read more

This review is about the Hot Deli in the back not the grocery store. I came to buy the drumettes. They didnt have enough to fill my order. They said it would be 15 minutes & asked if I wanted to wait. I said, "Sure, I'll go wander around the store and come back". I came back in 15 min and the drumettes were not there. I got in line and asked again. They again told me that it would be 15 minutes. I told them that's what I was told about 30 min ago. They BARELY started cooking them. I heard them saying "She wait again". I said "Yes I wait again. This time I wait here". If you want to wait for something here you better stay and wait or they will NOT cook any for you. No one seems to mention all the expired food they sell to us. Everytime I go in I need to check the expiration date. Everything there is either expired or about to be expired. It's unhealthy. R&N on Lovers Lane has some Super Buys from time to time. The Chinese Barbecued Pork is overpriced. But it is Fresh and tasty. The Chinese Take Out has gone way down hill. For the most part it is Greasy and Tasteless. The Chow mein is mediocre at best as is the fried rice. Last week we got the Fried Chicken to go. It was very, very greasy. The Chicken tasted like it was Fried in old grease. They have a large assortment of Fresh Vegetables The meet department is also good. Large assortment of Asian Products. Curry, Thai, Chinese. Just about any ingredients you need. Just bypass the Cooked Chinese Food and Fried Chicken. read more

What can I say, growing up R-N Market Chinese food was pretty much the only food we had when "eating out" (even tho we ate it at home). So it has some nostalgia for me (and seriously, damn, those egg rolls are nice). I couldn't do my regular grocery shopping here as there are zero organic choices, but I do pick up Asian cooking supplies and treats from time to time. R-N is this strange amalgamation of Asian and Mexican grocery, all in one spot. If you eat conventionally grown/raised produce and meat, it seems pretty cheap. I guess that's all I have to say. PS be careful in the parking lot; there seems to be a lot of elderly crackers just waiting for the chance to run you down. Don't laugh-it's happened to me more than once! read more

I have visited both R-N markets in Fresno and Visalia, and Visalia market has Chinese food section which was pretty dope. I usually go here to get Asian veggies, products, and fried chicken. There's lot of parking space in this structure. Staff is always helpful. read more

I bought turkey from the Visalia store. Got home and when I went to cook the turkey my wife recognized it had gone bad. We thru it away because it smelled really bad. I live a bit away from RN Market so I come into town once a week. We went to the store to get the turkey replaced and they refused because I didn't keep the bad turkey and bring it to them.
