Spuntino is part of the Copenhagen Cofoco-family of restaurants, basically a bunch of restaurants owned by the same owners, but each with different names and concepts, rather than a chain of restaurants.
Spuntino is (one of) their Italian place, though not super-traditional Italian. Don't expect pizza and pasta here, but rather more upscale Italian.
I've been here twice, with quite a long time in-between, so can vote for their quality being consistent. On any given night, they have a total of ten dishes available, two of each for an antipasti, primi, primi number, secondi, and dolce. You can either order these a la carte, and go for one, two, or however many you want. Or you can order the full shebang for 295,-, which is a pretty damn good deal. And it is obviously what they expect you to do, as each individual dish is by no means a large meal, but eat your way through four of all five, and you should be set.
In addition to the food, they offer a wine menu, a well-assorted wine list, a few pre and post dinner cocktails, and coffee.
One of the common concepts of the Cofoco-places is that you only have your reservation for a limited time, typically 2 hours and 15 minutes. This is one of the ways they seek to be able to serve great food at relatively low prices, by ensuring they have more than one seating at any table (but without only having two specific seatings as some places). This means that the food arrives at a fairly high pace, though not rushed. But you definitely won't find yourself pondering what's keeping your food.
Definitely worth a visit, and I'd suggest starting out with their Aperol spritz! read more
