I have had a very concerning experience since moving into Arrabelle Apartments…read more Since move-in, I have reported ongoing plumbing issues, including hot water coming out of the cold side of faucets throughout the unit. Maintenance visited multiple times and confirmed the system was not operating properly, but the issue was not corrected. In May of this year, I was scalded while using the shower and have since required medical treatment, including multiple doctor visits and a referral to a wound specialist. Despite the seriousness of the issue, I have continued to experience poor communication and a lack of urgency from management. I have also had concerns about access to my apartment and have had to repeatedly request that all non-emergency access be coordinated in writing. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this property to document all maintenance concerns in writing, keep copies of every request, and follow up consistently. Based on my experience, serious safety and maintenance issues have not been handled with the level of care, urgency, or communication that I would expect from a professionally managed apartment community.

They were always very tactful. They never gossiped any of our neighbors or anything like that. Holly and Don are the consummate professionals. Woodmere Townhomes is an older complex, so yes, there are a lot of maintenance challenges. Their maintenance personnel are especially responsive and very pleasant to work with. When the handle to our sliding glass patio doors broke off, the response was prompt. When our pipes froze (only for a day and a half) in 2018, the response was also immediate. It was a cold snap and a few apartments had frozen pipes for our washer and drier. Maintenance wasn't able to unfreeze the pipes, but they tried. A day later, water was moving again and we could do our laundry. Management and maintenance people followed up to ensure that everything was okay. What more could a person expect? The design of the individual apartments is very nice: our apartment looks much larger than it really is. The entry overlooks the living room: I thought it was pretty. We had sliding glass doors to a small porch. We had about 27 different species of birds and a herd of 9 deer that visited regularly. There are amenities I would like (such as walk-in closets, etc.), but you can't beat Woodmere Townhomes for value. My husband and I always felt safe in and around our apartment. The apartment complex tends to be quiet. People work during the day, come home, grab their mail, and go into their apartments. Very rarely do we have any interactions with our neighbors. With the dreadful coronavirus keeping more people home, the parking lot has become a social gathering place! It's pretty fun seeing our neighbors outside sitting in the lawn chairs and soaking up the sun. Yes, you could find comparable apartments for less, but not in Cedarburg. You could find apartment complexes with more amenities, but then they would cost more. Woodmere Townhomes is pretty sweet for the price.

Units are getting upgrades that include washers and dryers, high energy efficient appliances and more. The well maintained fitness center is a great place to work out and very convenient. Woodmere has a park-like setting. It's a little like country in the city. You might even see a deer outside your Woodmere window.
