My wife and her partner had a booth at NYCC 2014. Within the first day and a half, they burned through their promotional giveaway postcards. By Friday morning (today) it was clear they were going to run out. I contacted Frank at Squar-Pix and both he and Mike took great care of me. The results were absolutely perfect, and they got me a thousand double-sided color postcards the same day. These guys were great in a pinch, and I fully recommend them. Really great print shop. My wedding invitations came out perfectly for a very reasonable price. Beyond the printing though, the service was excellent. My friendly suggestion to management is to have a couple of hours on the weekend when staff is on-site and people can make pick ups. I emailed and asked for a quote for a die cut, translucent laminated sticker. The sales person, Frank, emailed me back with a link for a backlit film. Since I am not in the sign/sticker printing business, I assumed that he would have sent me the link for what I asked for- A die-cut sticker. So I placed my order. When I received it, It wasn't a sticker at all, and it wasn't die-cut. Plus, it was the wrong size. It was a giant piece of plastic, not even matching my measurements. When I called to try and get the problem corrected, I was told that I made a mistake by ordering the wrong product and that I would have to pay full price for the sticker if I wanted to place a new order. I told Frank that I placed my order because of the direction he gave me. He sent me the link after I was very specific with what I needed, including the size. I was very clear with what I needed and he directed me to order the wrong item. In addition, Frank was unpleasant on the phone, not taking any responsibility for his part of the miscommunication, and unfortunately, he was unable to admit that he contributed to the mistake. That must be what happened with their name too. They misspelled the word "square" but were unable to admit their mistake, so they just went with "Squarpix" instead and hoped no one noticed! I was unable to get my project fixed and unable to get a refund. I will not be using them in the future. Very unprofessional, not dedicated to customer service. Too bad because I prefer to use small businesses, but will have to go with someone more professional and capable for this job. read more

I was too hurry to check the prints in store, the final prints came out with wrong margins. I guess they just auto-center the pages by boundary and not check my original files. But they called me and tried to help solving the problems with new printing. read more

I am so disappointed in the customer service. I've spent maybe thousands in this place. For business and even church events. Us being affiliated with churches all over the US, so you can imagine how much business they just lost. Just because the person who took care of me this time didn't care about anything. Basically after i told him about the issue, which was definitely my fault, because i guess i should've elaborated that i wanted the writings as big as the banner was. Which i thought that it makes sense if the banner is big, for the letters to be big, not for the letters to be small as if it was on a regular PC paper. But that wasn't the issue. I was willing to pay again the second time. The thing is i spent too much dollars here and i live in the neighborhood. The guy didn't show a single sign of sympathy. He could've at least said: "sorry you experience wasn't as good this time time, but i'll definitely make sure everything goes smooth next time''. But no, it was just charging me a second time, and not even caring about the job. basically you are expected to do their job for them, all they did was just print. I don't know if it's under new management, but the guy was terrible. also advice to anyone who will do business with them next time, please make sure you check everything, and make sure you do it all. Also please look at at the papers they will make you sign. it's tricks upon tricks. very disappointed. and No one reaches out to you. Also please be careful, if there is a little mistake, they won't let you know, because they want you to come back again and again, that's how it appears they are making money. this is Covid-19 time, i thought what should be the main thing right now for every business is to try and retain customers, specially loyal ones, (I've been coming there for 3 years now, maybe 4), and make new ones, and actually care for people as human beings. we have 4 businesses, very popular brand and respected in the US. we deal with guests daily, some are happy some not, but we make sure we reach out to guests and apologize for their bad experiences. This was the worst ever. I honestly think they won't last long. Oh and by the way, I came at the location to pick up my work, and no response. after i rang the bell for 5 minutes, i called and asked if they were open, the guy said yes, he is coming. When he came, he checked the bell to see what was wrong. then basically didn't care about anything i told him. if i took time out of our busy day to write such a long review is because this was the worst experience i've had in a very long time bye bye and may you continue to succeed in what you do. read more

I meant to write this review back in November 2014. These people are what hospitality and GREAT service is all about. It is rare nowadays to meet and work with people and companies who keep their word and follow through to make sure the job is done. We first went to a big company who not only did not follow through with us after we called and emailed them, but they could not get our postcards printed as promised the same day. Everyone went home. So I found Frank and his Square-Pix on Yelp. Usually I do not follow the opinions on Yelp, but I was desperate. Not only did they print our hards at the last minute, they stayed after hours to make sure the job was done. My husband and I ran out to Brooklyn to pick up our order and we met Frank and his beautiful family. Someone needs to do a story on this company, survivors of the Sandy Hurricane, rebuilding their business in a new neighborhood. We needed the cards for an important client the next day. I ordered a rush job on two banners, and Frank and the team were able to help design my graphics (based on a small image I had and wanted to replicate), make the changes I requested, and print two gorgeous banners within 36 hours. The turnaround time was truly remarkable for the high quality of the product. My order was not cheap, but I didn't go over my budget, and I found the price very reasonable considering the special needs of my request. Squar-pix was perfect for what I needed. Both Frank and Mike were very responsive and accommodating. When I needed my job printed quickly they did it and stayed late for me just to make sure my job was done right. And when I made note of streaks on a poster they printed for me, they printed the next batch on a higher quality paper beautifully and still gave me the lower price rate! The business is also very easy to get to, right off the subway which is a plus. There's something to be said for brick and mortar places, even if you are doing business in the digital age. I was trying to create some promotional mugs. I tried the really big competitor with the online shop. I couldn't get the system to give me the bulk pricing which wasn't such a great deal to begin with, so I sent an email query to Squar-pix.I got a great price AND since I could pick up the order, I saved a bunch on shipping.
