The biggest problem that I see that Chris Courter, the owner, faces is his inability to listen to the customer and have a civil discourse and choose a logical path forward that everyone agrees to. Instead he is a get in get out get the cash and run kind of operator. And then there is always the, "I will need to get more money for that" change order approach so be prepared. Oh and whatever you do, do not pay him until he is done to your satisfaction otherwise you may not see the all the work done or the money you paid returned. At least that was our experience. His attitude when the customer does not agree with him turns defensive and he becomes very curt and disrespectful. I know there will be no "after the installation" return to fix any problems that may occur as he is unreachable once he has flipped that switch. Judging from the negative reviews here and on Google we are not the only ones to experience his, "Customer Service". Look for yourself. Per their recommendation also used Bel Air H2O Garden and cladding transparent - Colourless. What a terrible mistake. After only 6 months the wood stared to show black stains and mold underneath the sealer. Their salesman David visited to inspect problem. NEVER HEARD BACK. I have now had to sand the whole fence (remove sealer and black mold) and restain fence with oil based sealer. At the very least Lumber Plus could have credited me the 6 gallons at $145 each of the crappy sealer they sold me. Just plain POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
