The walls and doors we're not cleaned before starting to paint. I have a mirror and a window splashed with paint. I had different people in the house first 2 days same guys 3 and 4th day different workers. I pay 2000 for interior only all white 2 bedroom apartment. They "finish" in time. My recommendations are to get multiple quotes and meet the painters before starting a job.

Danny, the owner, and his assistant Alex were meticulous, leaving the house looking incredible. We were so impressed with them, that when we learned that they also specialized in carpentry, we hired them to replace all the crown moldings and frames in our family room and dining room. Again, we were completely blown away! Their love for what they do comes through in their attention to detail and workmanship. AND BECAUSE we were sad to see these guys leave - since sadly in our city it is not everyday that you come across professionals like Danny and his crew, we also hired them to pressure clean and seal our back deck and driveway pavers. Marvin submitted an estimate/contract which ended up being the 2nd lowest bid. I reviewed the contract and found it was not specific enough, so I made multiple changes and additions to include but not limited too; Metal and Wood Doors and Metal Garage Door. Sand and properly prepare all metal and wood surfaces. remove oxidation and loose and/or flaking coating.... See photo of contract Services also Include clean job site daily of any debris and or material etc. See Photos Marvin and I both executed the revised contract. I also texted Marvin with my schedule and told him I needed to be there for the entire process to monitor the progress. It started out well until I found issues with their work product. It started with the pressure cleaning. His young assistant Lorenzo pulled the pressure cleaning hose across my landscape lights, breaking off the plastic blade that sticks in the ground leaving 3 broken lights. See Photo. While caulking the windows and doors, Lorenzo stepped in caulking that he dropped on the floor and walked all over my travertine tile, leaving caulk footprints everywhere on the deck. See Photo My Garage Door is made of metal. He agreed to sand and remove rust from the door. Instead, on Friday I found that he just painted over the rust without removing and priming the rust as per the contract. When I confronted Marvin with this issue, he became defensive and hostile. He repeatedly said he had been painting for over 25 years and then began reciting the things he did in addition to what the contract required. As if one issue countered the other. He did paint 2 of the window frames which was not in the contract if I gave him a good Google review, but that does not negate that he just painted over rust on my garage door and refuses to sand it and repaint that area. The rust will come back. The conversation continued to be hostile until I just walked away. Then the drama proceeded. Marvins's new assistant Bobby went over to him and hugged him and patted him on the back whispering. Let's just get the job done and be paid. I have a flat screen TV mounted on the back wall of my house with a shelf containing the TV box and sound system components. At the time of the estimate, I pointed out to Marvin that I did not want to disconnect these components. Marvin said he would cover them with plastic and paint around them. Instead, I found the components hanging by their wires off the shelf. See Photos. Continuing including photos; And Photos don't LIE There was green paint on my travertine tile, they painted over the brass hinges on my side door, they left a splash of white paint on my front street, there was caulking on my travertine deck, they did not cut in the green paint on my front door and finally while conducting the final inspection with Marvin and his assistant Bobby I showed them paint droppings on a brass door handle and asked him to please remove the paint. Bobby had a bottle of solvent in his hand. Marvin refused saying it was preexisting.

They were prompt, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of every day. We had just had new windows and doors installed and they covered all the new openings before painting to protect them. The crew not only painted our house beautifully, they expertly stained our new woodwork on our porch. The whole job was perfection. After the primer coat went on, my husband and I changed our mind on the color. We were certain that we would be charged a significant change fee as the crew needed to stop mid-job while we were re permitted for the new color. Hector was extremely patient and helpful. His crew came back as soon as we got our new permit and we only had to pay for the new paint! The whole job was the easiest part of our big remodel. When everything was done Hector walked the whole job with us and addressed any little touch ups right there on the spot. I cannot recommend Hector and his team at Astro Painting highly enough. The professional service and amazing talent and attention to detail are hard to come by these days.

We hired brush squad for our new construction project. They did a poor job cocking the walls before painting. The doors were not sanded down before being painted. The only instrument they used to paint was a spray gun. There was no paint brush or paint rollers involved, maybe if there was there would have been less of a mess. When I explained to them all the issues and that they needed to fix the disaster they left behind they said they would come but they never showed up and abandoned the job. I ended up having to hire another company to fix the work. I do not recommend this company and if you do hire them make sure you do not pay in full until job is completely finished
