My husband and I are harsh pizza critics and this is shockingly good Neapolitan style pizza! We got…read morethe marinara which has a sweet tomato sauce and delicious, flavorful, pillowy, chewy crust. My husband enjoyed the meatballs. I also had to go back and get a special zucchini ricotta pizza, and we couldn't even finish an amazing goat cheese salad with caramelized red onions and pine nuts with the perfect honey dressing. I already want to go back to Bath and explore the cute town and try the Margherita among others at the Oven!

Maybe this is the best pizza in Bath, but it's very mediocre. Kind of flavorless really. And took…read moreforever to get - more than an hour (almost 90 min) after we ordered it. We waited long after others who had come in after us. Service was okay - they lost our booking somehow. I had the confirmation and the email reminder on my phone that I showed them. They were very confused but seated us and honored it. We started with a salad and the focaccia (which was really just a white pizza). Both were good. They have some nice wines. Then we had margherita pizzas and one speciality pizza. I asked for some chili oil to help give it some flavor but even that wasn't spicy. For dessert we had some ice cream and I tried a cannoli. Also mediocre. The shell was overdone and the cheese was just okay. I've never had one that only was made with ricotta and no mascarpone at all. Overall would not return - there are other good places in Bath we would like to try.

Both stellar and I would get another round if we had time. Happy hour is £2.50 pints - can't get better than that. Parking around the building was atrocious, to say the least. Take public transit if you can. T took us 30 minutes to get out of the tinyiest parking garage known to man. Other than that, I hope we stop by again if we're ever in Cardiff.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Although not on the menu, we asked if we could sample all the beers they make which was no issue at all and all surprisingly cheap. They had a variety of beers from light mango beer, through to chocolate beer and even a 'black' beer. The smell from each beer was incredible and the bartender told us the reasoning behind each recipe and the flavours we should be able to taste with each glass. To line our stomachs as we drank we ordered a couple of things off the menu. We had the sharing starter which was smoked salmon , tomatoes, Parma ham and goats cheese on ciabatta followed by the thermidore mussels. Both of which were very good, the sauce on the mussels was Devine, incredibly rich and creamy ! They do have quite a limited menu here (mainly mussels, pizza and salad) but what they do have looks and tastes brilliant. They have a great open kitchen with an impressive pizza oven and each pizza looked incredible. I'd definitely come back here when we have a little more time and spend a bit longer trying to beers and taking in the atmosphere. Some days of the week they even have the distillers in operating the kit while you eat and drink which I am sure would be most entertaining ! Great place 4/5

Tony's pizza has been going since I was a tiny little thing and is still going strong to this day…read more In my opinion one of the best pizza places for miles. Not least because they deliver proper, rustic, tasty food. None of that horrible processed cheese and rubbish meat. I'm talking, fresh asparagus, anchovies, spinach, real Italian flavors. Alright so they only deliver to Penarth, Dinas Powys and Llandough but I like that level of exclusivity plus you can always head down there and pick one up in person. Nestled on the pier, Tony's is a slice (sorry) of Penarth history.

For me, going to Tony's is like being a girl of 15 again, sunburned on Hollywood Beach, my crispy…read moreskin rolled in salty breadcrumbs of sand, while my friends and I hunt for the closest corner pizzeria. Sigh. Yeah, so it's kinda like that, minus the heat and blistering sun. Anyway, I love that I can buy pizza by the slice near a beachfront in Wales. Offering a variety of toppings (even a "healthy" version, but I'm afraid you'll have to opt for a full pizza in order to sample that), Tony's pizza is the perfect precursor to an ice cream cone dessert and a stroll on the Atlantic-Beach-like boardwalk. It's only open in the evenings on the weekdays (and from noon on Saturday and Sunday), but I crave pizza after a few pints, so it makes for a quick and convenient eat just before you head home (or out to a few neighbouring bars) They offer burgers and such, but I've yet to try it - it seems the pizza is the main draw here! But if you're feeling lazy, they offer a delivery service during its opening hours, but only to Penarth, Sully, Dinas Powys and Llandough areas.
