I was soooo close to giving these guys 5 stars. I shattered the screen of my 3 year old iPhone 6s by hitting it justttt right with a cast iron skillet. Within 16 hours, the screen was replaced, for the reasonable price of $100. 27 hours after that, there was a new crack in the bottom of the screen. The original screen withstood 3 years of abuse, including being dropped at least 500 times on tile, marble, concrete, and wood. Somehow, the iCracked screen could not withstand being placed on a wood dining table too hard ... for this, I should have paid the $50 premium and gone to Apple. I get that you don't guaranty screen cracks after the fact, but if a customer files a complaint immediately of a crack that occurred within a day of replacement, it makes sense to offer a free replacement. Hell, I'd even pay for the tech's time if the materials were free. A little good will goes a looooong way. But, apparently not at iCracked. read more

I recently had iCracked repair an iPhone 6S phone screen. Shortly thereafter I found a tiny washer that hadn't been re-installed, and the battery suddenly becomes very hot during charging and dies at 5 times the normal rate. Upon calling the company, with I might add a lifetime warranty I was instructed to fill out a customer satisfaction survey and I guess hope for a warranty fairy to answer. Their contention was that since they repaired the screen and not the battery, the battery problems were not covered. I explained that most battery dysfunctions happen after screen replacement, to no avail. Lifetime warranty, if it's convenient for the vendor. read more

I live and work in a fairly remote location and Fritz worked hard with me to schedule a time and location to drop off my equipment for repair that was convenient for both of us. Several months ago, I set my iPad down on an unstable shelf in my garage and it fell several feet and hit the concrete. Didn't break, yahoo! On New Years Day, I'm sitting on my couch (soft) wrapped in a blanket (soft) with my iPad on my lap (also soft). The remote control fell off the arm of the couch about 8 inches on to my lap. Thank goodness the iPad was there to catch the fall. Based on how shattered the face of my iPad was, it would have left a ginormous bruise! I immediately googled "I cracked my iPad glass" (iPad was still working) and came across the website iCracked.com. It looked promising so I clicked on the "find a technician near you" and entered my info. In less than 5 minutes, I received a call from Jason. On New Years Day! We talked for a couple of minutes about some of my options and potential problems, then made plans to meet so I could give him my iPad (in retrospect, I might be too trusting to hand a total stranger a piece of equipment worth hundreds of dollars). Not only did he have the glass fixed in less than two hours, but he smoothed out the dent from the previous drop AND fully charged my gadget before returning it to me. This is a pricey service (about $150 for the iPad 2) but way less than a new iPad. There are few people that would go to the lengths Jeremy did when repairing my ipad. He was responsive, courteous and did an awesome job making sure that the ipad stayed together. He took meticulous care in filing down edges that could have cause the screen to crack again and also made sure to do the repair right and not take shortcuts like on a previous repair by another tech. I used iCracked to replace a broken screen on my iPhone 6. Within a month, the screen's seal began to break creating "bubbles" all around the edges. Within 6 weeks the screen was coming off. I tried to reach out to my tech. He wouldn't return my communication. I then filed a warranty claim with the company, providing clear photos of the broken seals and clean edges to prove I'd not dropped the phone to cause the issue. They would not warranty their work. $100 wasted and now I'm going to a competitor to try again. read more

I agreed to pay $145 to have my iPad screen replaced. The tech picked my iPad up on Tuesday and told me the repair would be completed the next day. I received a message stating that my device would not turn on AFTER the screen had been replaced. The tech ran a full diagnostic exam on my device prior to me handing it over for repair. This test yielded perfect results so I knew the problem was caused in the repair process. I finally received my iPad back 13 days later after the device had to be flown to the icracked headquarters in California. About an hour after I had received the device back I noticed that the tech replaced the screen with a HAIR UNDERNEATH THE GLASS. Therefore, I can't remove the hair as it is stuck below the glass. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE!!!! read more
