This is my first time using iCracked. I bought the repair from Amazon Services. They cancelled my appointment, had to make me reschedule (which I am okay with) but then they personally reached out and said they could get me a repair that day or the following. I cracked the LCD on my iPhone 4S which caused horizontal blue lines to run across the screen (making the phone useless). I put in a request to have my phone fixed thinking it wasn't going to be fixed for at least another week. Ten minutes later I received from Kevin informing me that he could come fix it the next day. The screen of my iPhone 4S went black. The rest of the phone was still working (it would ring and I could hear texts/messages coming in), but it doesn't really matter if the screen doesn't. I entered my problem and location on icracked.com and 24 hours later, Pavlos was sitting in my office deftly taking my entire phone apart and putting it back together. Apparently, 4S phones take 4 times as long to repair as the iPhone 5/5S, but I was charged the amount quoted to me prior to setting up the appointment. I was impressed by the knowledge and skill that Pavlos had. He asked me if I knew that my phone was not factor condition -- that it had been refurbished and the screen had already been replaced at least once. I didn't know all of this about it, but was not surprised since I got it on eBay. He said that it wasn't assembled well, but he cleaned and fixed it and after he was done, it worked better than before! He clearly took pride in his work and the convenience and ease of having someone come to you versus bringing your phone somewhere, dropping it off, picking it up, etc., is unbeatable! Their website claims to be able to repair Galaxy phones with nonworking screens. My repairman decided to not to take my request because he didnt think he could fix it, but he never notified us about this decision until we called when he was an hour late for my appointment. He said he didnt have the parts to fix my phone but he could open my phone up to tell me what exactly was wrong. Not only did he not do this, he also confessed that he had never worked on a Galaxy phone. He asked us to supply him with the things to open my phone,,things that he shouldve had as a repairman.
