LearnSquash delivers on its name! I visited LearnSquash as an adult beginner w/ no prior racket…read moresport experience for a lesson with 3 friends, and had a really fun and educational time. We had Cliff as our instructor, who was fantastic. He had a clear curriculum, kept the pace moving, and promoted a very welcoming/non-judgmental environment. I was particularly impressed by how well he balanced giving everyone a chance to practice vs. moving topics (which can be difficult with a large class). He also made sure to leave time for some basic rallies at the end! By the end of the lesson and some time to practice on our own, we were able to serve and sustain rallies & were all very sore the next day. It's really in the small details that made this a really impactful experience though. Cliff went above and beyond by giving us a sense of what's possible, intentionally learning our names & why we wanted to learn squash, being easily contactable via email, and giving us YouTube tutorials to learn more. Lastly, the courts were well-maintained and we were provided with loaner rackets, protective eyewear, & plenty of places to change clothes. This was a welcome surprise, especially for how affordable the classes are. Kudos to Cliff and Szilvia (who we got to meet on our way out) for making squash accessible!

Both of them started playing squash as beginners with LearnSquash and were able to get to competitive levels on their school teams within a few months. LearnSquash offers weekly private & semi-private lessons, clinics, an academy (for more advanced players) and summer camps. The schedules are flexible and my children have participated in all the different lesson formats to maximize their growth. Coach Cliff is very well organized with the weekly schedules and is very accommodating to fit a teen's busy schedule. The clinics are a great balance of rigor and fun. The coaches have a special niche in working with children of all ages and skill levels to pique their interests, improve their skills with fun drills and organized matches. Private and semi-private lessons with coaches Eric and Cliff are very rewarding. They work the kids very hard and tailor the lessons to each player's unique needs and personal areas for improvement. Everything is done in a very professional and nurturing way. Their home base, the Winsor squash facility, is brand new, safe and convenient for parents to park and either observe the lessons or run errands nearby. We highly recommend LearnSquash to anyone who wants to take their game to the next level!

The food was excellent. I had the Shrimp Mendoza and a few beers while stopping in to catch the end of a World Cup match. The shrimp was delicious, and the Cajun sauce paired perfectly with it. It also made an excellent dipping sauce for the bread. The bartenders and waitstaff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It's also a fantastic place to watch the World Cup. Everyone was fully engaged in the match, making for a fun and energetic experience.

I can see this as a fine after work happy hour beer and oyster spot. Cocktails - all were overly sweet and weak. The Hugo spritz tasted overwhelmingly of soda water, and the Georgia Peach had a really strong artificial (schnapps?) peach taste. For a $15 cocktail most nearby locations will use peach puree or juice. The oysters were as expected and served quickly. Sourdough bread was cold, but the butter was great! Lamb skewers and octopus were overcooked. The worst part is that the dishes have the right idea and ingredients, but the execution was disappointing- maybe a new chef is needed. I've tried most of the restaurants in the area for pre-show meals and this is one of the few to which I will not return. Seems lovely for after work beers though, especially when the outdoor patio opens!
