I loved the toasted brioche buns and the toppings on all sliders were fresh and flavorful. The burger slider patties were generous and juicy, though a little under-seasoned. Same for the pulled pork. They were prompt but probably because I beat the lunch rush. I can imagine they would be much busier 30 minutes from when I came. My favorite of the three was the Bada Bing. Would definitely get again if they come back. They would probably get five stars if the ground beef and pulled pork themselves were better seasoned.

When I saw that City Sliders was going to be here, I checked out the menu and knew I was going to order. I placed my order online and as soon as I went to submit they had suspended orders. I ended up just going up to the truck and ordering. It really didn't take long. The concept is to get two of the same sliders with a side. Since I knew I wanted to try a variety I opted to order their three slider offering; the Triple Threat. This way I could try their pork, chicken, and burger. And have leftovers!!! The order: a horsey pig, southern chick, the bada bing burger, and fries. Let's start with the actual slider buns. Awesome! Fresh and buttery and toasty brioche buns. My pig slider wasn't very horsey as they forgot the slaw with horseradish aioli. But the pork had great flavor. The southern chick ended up being my fav. Bacon, pimento cheese, and crispy chicken. Winning!! The Bada Bing! The burger was seasoned well and worked with the tomato and mozo but the pesto was too heavy with raw garlic. I had to brush my teeth twice before bed!!! Finally the fries. When I saw how many were in the box I immediately thought, leftovers. Wrong! I ate every last one! Crispy, hot, seasoned and perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing this truck again. :-)

We ordered the sauce on the side because we are not usually fans of creamy sauces but once we tasted it, we dumped it on because it was really sweet like, honey, not mayo-ey. And it complemented both the shrimp and the fish. The mac n cheese was creamy, but the red rice stole the show. I am a wimp when it comes to heat (spice) and while it had flavor it was just perfect for me. Loved to see the support from my neighbors! I was able to checkout the menu before heading down and had set my sights on their new Mexican Mac & Shrimp Bowl. This bowl was listed with the following -- mac & cheese, Cajun butter poached shrimp, queso, peppers and onions, black bean corn salsa, citrus crema, salsa sauce, jalapeños, and tortilla strips and cilantro. All things I love! Once I got to the window and placed my order I only had a short wait to receive my food. The guy at the window was super friendly! I brought the goods home and knew I was going to have leftovers for days. (Which I'm still enjoying!!!). As you can tell from the list of ingredients above I found the bowl offered a lot of fun combinations making for a great eating experience. The 2 things that would have elevated the bowl for me would have been salt and spice! I understand that serving a large range of clientele from a food truck would force seasoning to be on a lighter handed side versus a heavy handed side. But the reality is that I got to bring my bowl home and adjust the seasoning and spice level myself. :-) I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the FU truck again.

It was creamy ,cheesy and delicious. The sandwiches were buy one, get one 1/2 price so my husband also had one with baked beans. There is not a place to eat at this location so all food is carryout. The owners were really nice and were happy to talk with me and answer any questions. This is hands down the best BBQ I've had in the Charleston area. I will be back again to try the ribs. My husband and I devoured these; I think I could eat them every day. We also shared a Philly Cheesesteak which was really tasty as well. Great meat to bun ratio and you could taste the mushrooms inside the beef. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great!
