I had…read morea very bad experience with them because they used strong chemicals that ended up killing a large amount of my plants, grass, and trees. I have provided my text conversation with the owner as well as pictures of the dead grass, trees, and bushes. I had to plant $200+ of new flowers and it will take weeks for my grass to recover and I don't know if the trees will eventually die. They are certainly very stressed going into Fall. Additionally, I they killed 5 bottlebrush bushes. The total amount of damages and labor to replace what they did to my landscaping is almost $1,500! I understand that mistakes happen, and in my initial and followup texts, I was gracious and asked them to come out and look at the areas of concern. I wanted to work on a mutual solution. The company spoke with me on the phone (Gary McCarthy's partner who helped with the job) and admitted "yes, sometimes this does happen", and said he'd get out here to look at the damage. They never came so I followed up each day by text. After 5 days, the partner called again and told me 1) it was Gary's (the owner's) fault for the damage to the grass; and 2) I was exaggerating and lying about the damage (despite the pictures I provided, as well as video documentation). Then he hung up on me. I sent a text (see below) to Gary McCarthy informing him of this and asked him to rectify the matter with a partial refund of pressure washing cost (I asked for a $200 refund on the total job of $495) and to pay for some of the plants ($266). He then responded that I should never contact him again with harassing messages. I think if you see my messages, I wasn't harassing, I was trying to give them a chance to fix a mistake. They failed to respond to calls or texts, and never came by. I have disputed the full payment of $495 made via American Express because this company failed to deliver the service they promised and caused damage greater than the cost of the service. This is my experience. Others may have had a good experience with this company. I am sharing this so you will know what happened to me.
