On arrival you are greeted by the lovely receptionists. I have met Donna and Fiona both of which made me feel at ease straight away and also Monty is adorable! You feel relaxed very quickly. Well... after visiting now for 4 treatment sessions I have a new respect and understanding for my body and how it works. I see Jeremy who is extremely skilled at pinpointing what I would term "pain epicentres" managing to understand my rambled attempts at explaining where I feel the pain is coming from, then he is able through palpation, to find the exact trigger point. After living with knee pain since childhood, to finally understand where the pain is actually coming from ( Jeremy explained a misformation of my hip) this was clarity for the first time in my life regarding this issue, of which doctors had previously misdiagnosed. Tantamount to this I've received treatment by way of deep massage and manipulation for TMJ disorder and ongoing neck pain, as well as, calf and ankle treatment down to my toes! Ask plenty of questions when you visit you get many answers as to how your individual anatomy works and advice on the effects of stress, emotions, sleep patterns and even how the way we breathe effects our daily life! Treatment and instruction on at home daily exercises and breathing techniques has improved my overall health tremendously, I have recommended many friends and family to Solihull Osteopathic Practice of which many have booked appointments for their complaints. I made many visits to my GP for treatment and tried numerous conventional types of medication, but none were successful. I was then informed that many headaches originate from stiffness and tension in the neck and that osteopathic treatment and acupuncture can often bring relief. On this suggestion I visited the Backcare and Acupuncture Clinic for an initial consultation. This involved taking my history, examining the affected area and delivery of the first treatment. Practice Manager Paul Clusker impressed me a great deal. He was very thorough and listened to what I had to say. After my initial consultation I visited Paul on a fortnightly basis for a couple of months. After this time my back and neck pain reduced considerably and my migraines were far less frequent and much less severe. I now visit Paul every few months to keep on top of my condition as my back pain and migraines have almost disappeared. I only wish I had tried osteopathy and acupuncture sooner! I moved here from Probert Road Health Centre…read more Thank god I did. Probert Road was a nightmare compared to here. My GP at Probert Road never seemed to help me, explain anything or answer any of my questions properly. Everything was solved by coming back in 2 weeks. Everything. My GP - and all the stand-in GPs I've had at Lower Green have been great. They answer my questions promptly, diagnose me and explain what's going on clearly. They have then prescribed appropriate medication and advice on exactly how to deal with any condition I've had. Waiting room is relaxed with audio and visual cues. Rooms are well labelled. There's two receptionists serving and there's also a self-check in computer so a lot of people don't even have to go to the desk to check in to an appointment. There's also a pharmacy basically in the waiting room. Bonus! Sufficient parking.

I like to shop around for things like this and I'm probably a nightmare of a patient as I want to know everything and question anything if I'm not sure or happy. I always feel listened to and involved in any treatment I've had. When the GP's look information up, they show me what they've found and I feel confident that they're giving the best advice they can. As a mum I have been vey happy with the help I've received from them. We've turned up quite a few times with various worries and hey have always made us feel at our ease and never made us feel silly for bringing our children along. They are also brilliant at phoning you back. Sometimes I don't want an appointment but am just looking for advice and if you phone and ask for a GP to contact you, they will. They spend time with you on the phone and are very thorough. From talking to other parents, I think we have a very good surgery and I would recommend.

This is my local Health Clinic, and I would never change!…read moreThere is a substantial Boots pharmacy as soon as you walk into the health centre, which dispenses all presciptions from any drs, but obviously those given in the clinic are given priority. There is an abundance of staff in the clinic and the receptionists and assistants in particular are very helpful. The actual surgery is very good, and the drs, especially dr sharma and dr mohindroo are exceptional. The nurses, including Head Nurse lesley are very helpful and competent. The medical team do house calls for those who cannot visit the actual surgery. They run many clinics for different things, such as young mums, pregnant women, elderly people etc There are also a dentist, chiropodist and blood clinic located in the surgery. The clinic is very large and spacious and there are many child areas to keep them occupied.
