Pastor Cristi and Bob are terrific and both very strong in Christ and wonderful people. The worship team is outstanding and lead terrific worship every week. there is an active childrens ministry with great teachers and my kids have learned and retained more about the bible in the past month than they did the past three years. There is 1 Wednesday a month at night where they have worship and prayer and 3 other where there is teaching almost like a bible study. While not as attended like a Sunday, these are wonderful in helping you keep Christ focused during the week and spending extra time with church family. The church also has small groups, called Life groups, which change about quarterly and offered both at the church and at people's homes depending on the group. The church also holds food drives and has a 1 Saturday a month Food Pantry to feed the needy, doing Christ work in the community is a big part of the identity here. I love it. No better church in the area. People of all races and nationalities are welcome and the church is very diverse.

We have raised our family at Beacon Church, and have watched the church as well as our family grow and mature to where it is today. Our children are connected to their peers through the Kidz Quest program as well as the Teen Youth Group. My quiet teenager has come out of his shell and made friends with other teens and socializes with his peers because of the encouragement of his youth leaders. My husband and I enjoy the monthly classes. They have inspired us to dig deeper in the Bible, and improve our prayer life. The Pastors are enjoyable to listen and interact with. The sermons are Biblically based and practical and help normal people deal with normal every day situations. The Worship Band is my favorite part. The musicians are inspiring and bring the songs to life.

I like and dislike that because if your in time you still late because they started early! Lesson learn to come earlier than start time!! The church is clean and beautiful!! It's not old and run down which is super! They up keep it. The rectory & the school is right next door to the church! There is a funeral home right across the street too. The church is on Brookville Rd and 138th Ave that can't be missed. No parking lot that I saw. Only street parking so come early to find parking! i am not a deeply religious person but my buddy visiting from the west coast is and this church is…read morehis religion which is presbyterian .this church in glen cove is lovely with its old look charm outside and inside it's spacious with ample seating with good viewing at the altar . this church does not have statues like a catholic church but it does have plenty of wonderful stain glass windows all around with the son of god featured front and center. a giant cross is massive in size and goldish in color. my buddy was into the gospel this sunday morning and i did not fall asleep due to the fact that service was less then an hour. a nice simple church with the reverend who's booming could be heard a block away preach with authority and style a nice size parking lot for worshippers ,5 stars .

Each week, my wife and I visit a number of the retired priests who live there, and we are always welcomed and treated with the highest respect - beyond, probably, what we deserve. I give my highest rating to Lori, Deacon Jean, Deacon Dan, and their teams.
