Upon arriving, we were greeted by several people and introduced to several more. When the service began, we felt the music was worshipful and enthusiastic. The sermon included relevant key verses as well as multi-media aspects. The service was a good length and finished with a cheerful send-off. While moving toward the door we were, again, greeted by many of the members. The pastor even invited us to chat, have coffee or lunch (in the coming week) if we had any questions about the church. We will, DEFINITELY, return to Aptos Christian.

Unless talking regular voice about how you do your house painting right next to someone praying the rosary during lent is encouraged here. Didn't even get the hint when I said "!!Lord Jesus!!" quite loud. But saying "please shut the fuck up" would def not be mistaken for a prayer but that wouldn't be nice back...... During lent which is a time of prayer the church does take a somber tone of respect and people are encouraged to speak quieter so I am really confused with serbelles review. I would never dream of going to a regular mass to pray the rosary as there is a time and place for that and the church is open for silent pray after masses. The parish has many activities including pancake breakfasts and daily donuts and coffee to encourage families to visit before leaving. Fr John does a great job bringing the word of God to life. Family, friends, community is what you will find at San Agustin. We are real people who make real sounds of life and happiness. And isn't the real message to go forth and live the word of Christ?

I've been attending for almost 3 years now. I went with the Calvary ideal of teaching from the Bible, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. Pastor Matt is great, good teachings. Worship is great, a diverse group of leaders and performers. The folks are wonderful, very welcoming, helping this reclusive, damaged techie to engage and interact. I volunteer as tech support for the church, doing sound, video, webcast or whatever. I've been in several small groups and to several outings. Great teaching, wonderful supportive people, a casual atmosphere, a great way to help develop a better walk with Christ. Faith needs to be fed and nourished, and this is a great place to help that!
