The church has a huge parking lot, which is great, but it was a bit hard to see at night. Inside, there is plenty of seating, so finding a spot wasn't an issue. One downside is that all the seating is flat. If you're attending a concert, I'd highly recommend sitting as close to the front as possible for a better view. I sat in an aisle seat and tried recording a video a few times, but even then, I could barely see past the person's head in front of me. Overall, it's a spacious venue with good parking, but for performances, the flat seating can make visibility challenging.

Every second Sunday, the church meets in smaller groups in various homes for brunch and service calling this Neighborhood Church. It can be uncomfortable, but I enjoy eating, so they got me! This smaller community is to foster closer relationships within the church. CF Walnut Creek isn't as large as the first location in Livermore. More importantly, I agree with the mission, values, and Biblical interpretation at this church. It is a good fit for us. I am ever so thankful of how the children's ministry love our children. Due to my past experience with church, I was extremely careful about which church I would be exploring. Reluctant even, finding any little reason not to join. After playing with our kids at Civic Park one afternoon, I literally saw the "signs". There were 3-4 Open Table Church signs setup at Civic Park providing enough information to pique my interest. Even then, I was hesitant to jump in immediately and wanted to research the church online before just walking in. The church was in its infancy, no over the top productions, a simple church that was there to put God first, to fellowship with other believers, and to study the Word. The church is open to those who are both new to exploring a relationship with Jesus and to those who want to continue to develop a stronger relationship with Jesus. The entire church plan and vision was laid out in front of me and I couldn't find any reason not to explore it further. My first day, I was welcomed with open arms by Ann Cooley. Pastor Wayne introduced himself to me and was interested in hearing more about my history and my interest in exploring Open Table Church. I was moved by the worship music lead by the awesome Wes Cooley, I was fascinated by Wayne's delivery of the message, and I fell in love with the OTC Community. God was telling me that this was the place for me to be. This was my new home where I can continue to develop my relationship with Him. It was also the perfect church to introduce to my wife and our kids who had little to no relationship with God and no history with a church. We have each found a home at OTC and it is now a part of our family.

The architectural design of the church is breathtaking and the entire church is spotless and very clean. The acoustics and organ sounded so beautiful. The church has several levels and the bathrooms are on the bottom floor. They have their own parking lot and there is very little street parking near the church. I look forward to coming back for mass one Sunday. Mass times for the Cathedral of Christ the Light are: Sunday at 8 AM (Vietnamese), 11 AM (English), and 1:30 PM. Tuesday has a Holy Hour from 7-8 PM.
